(Clearwisdom.net) In May 2006, Mr. Pan Yujun, a Falun Gong practitioner and an employee of the Huanri Company in Tushan Town, was working on a construction site when four police officers led by Wu Shangdong (male) illegally arrested him. After his arrest, they went straight to his home and searched it from top to bottom.
His wife and child, who were home at the time, were forced to go to Mr. Pan's mother-in-law's home. Under threats and immense pressure from the police, his wife asked for a divorce. As a result, a family that was once harmonious, has been destroyed due to the persecution.
After Mr. Pan was arrested, he was taken to Dianzi Brainwashing Center, then transferred to a detention center three days later. While there, the guards subjected him to severe mental and physical torture, but Mr. Pan refused to cooperate with them. As a result, they repeatedly hit him with an electric baton.
Afterwards, he held a hunger strike to protest this unwarranted abuse. However, Li Kecheng (male), a guard from the Lanzhou Detention Center, eventually managed to force-feed him. After 66 days of inhumane torture, Mr. Pan was sentenced to forced labor.
Since he was extremely emaciated, weighing only about 88 pounds, the labor camp officials refused to accept him. The authorities at the 610 Office had no choice but to release him.
On June 25, 2008, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) thugs from Laizhou City, Shandong Province, along with seven plainclothes officers from Tushan Town Police Department, drove to Mr. Pan's workplace, the Huanri Company, in two separate cars.
Once there, they arrested him and took him to the Tushan Town Police Department. While there, they demanded that he give them the keys to his home. Since he refused to cooperate, three police officers, including Wu Shangdong, went to his home and broke in. While inside, they seized a DVD player, CDs, and all of his Dafa books.
On the same day, at 2:30 p.m., Mr. Pan was taken to Dianzi Brainwashing Center, where he was handcuffed against a wall with his arms stretched out. At night, police officer Qing (male) asked Mr. Pan if he wanted some food. Mr. Pan responded that he didn't have any appetite.
Then Qing tried to force-fed him beer. When Qing was unsuccessful, he asked a fellow officer to help out. That thug pulled Mr. Pan's hair and pinched his nose, but Qing was still unable to force-feed him, so they got another officer, Wang Dacheng (male), to help them. Wang punched Mr. Pan in the belly, while the other two officers tried to force-feed him.
Mr. Pan was beaten so violently that the iron chains that held his hands to the wall were loosened twice, but they still could not get him to swallow any beer. They then replaced the existing chains with thicker chains. However, fearing that the handcuffs might leave scars on Mr. Pan's wrists, they stuffed some cloth between his wrists and the handcuffs, then continued beating him.
They removed Mr. Pan's shirt and underpants, then doodled on his body before sexually abusing him. The three officers took turns beating Mr. Pan, with Qing taking special delight in attacking Mr. Pan's ribs and armpits. As a result, Mr. Pan sustained internal injuries, which caused him to cough frequently. Each time he coughed, he experienced unbearably sharp pain in his rib area.
Wang then lit a cigarette and inserted it into Mr. Pan's nostril. After sadistically abusing Mr. Pan in this manner, Shi said, "We never beat you."
After a while, another officer, Wu Shangdong, came over and tied Mr. Pan's legs with a length of chain. Then the officers pulled on the chain and swung Mr. Pan back and forth. The full weight of Mr. Pan's body had now shifted onto his wrists, which were still attached to the wall. As a result, his arms became numb and he lost consciousness.
During his detention, Mr. Pan tried to persuade Song Shangguo (male), who used to practice Falun Gong, to stop doing this ignoble "transformation" work and go back to Dafa, and not let Teacher down. But Song Shangguo did not listen to him. Afterwards, when Mr. Pan told Song that he was going to escape from the brainwashing center, Song was very determined to not to let this happen.
On the afternoon of June 27, 2008, Mr. Pan noticed that a window had been accidentally left open, so he quickly jumped up onto the windowsill, getting ready to make his escape. When Song saw this, he lunged after Mr. Pan, but only managed to grab hold of one of his shoes.
Unable to go home, Mr. Pan was forced into homelessness and poverty.
