On May 10, 2008, practitioners Ms. Zeng Sifeng; Ms. Zeng's husband, Mr. Liao Songling; and Mr. Liao's son, Mr. Liao Zhijun, and daughter-in-law, Ms. Zhang Yan, from Chenzhou City were arrested. At around 12:00 p.m., on May 11, more than ten police officers from the State Security Division and the 610 Office of Chenzhou City broke into and ransacked the home of practitioner Mr. Ma Dunshan and confiscated his entire satellite dish system, television, truth-clarification materials, four hundred yuan in cash, and other items.

Ms. Liang Runmei and her daughter were reported to the police on May 6 while they were clarifying the truth and encouraging people to withdraw from the CCP, its Young Pioneers, and its Youth League. Both were taken to the police station. Ms. Liang's daughter managed to walk away in the process while Ms. Liang Runmei was taken to and held in the "Law School" (a brainwashing center) in the Qiaodong District of Zhangjiakou City.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on May 12, Hu Naizhong, chief of Jinghe Street Police Station of the Hunchun City Police Department forcibly took Ms. Liu Shuyun (in her 60s) from her home to the Jinghe Street Police Station. On the afternoon of May 12, while nobody was at home, the police broke into the home again and confiscated Ms. Liu's computer and other personal property. Ms. Liu Shunyun is currently being held in the Hunchun City Detention Center.

6. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yali Arrested

At around 11:00 a.m. on May 13, officials at the Retired CCP Cadres of the Taian City Military Subdivision Institution colluded with police officers of the Daizongfang District Police Station to arrest practitioner Ms. Liu Yali and ransack her home. They confiscated computers, printers and other items.

On the morning of May 8, Ms. Fei Maorong and her husband (not a practitioner) were both arrested at home. Master Li's photo and Falun Dafa books were also confiscated. The antenna of the satellite dish was smashed, destroyed, and taken away. Ms. Fei Maorong and her husband's whereabouts are unclear.

At about 10:00 a.m. on May 8, police officers from Konglong Town Police Station of Huangmei County broke into Ms. Wang Chun'e's home and ransacked it. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. They also arrested Ms. Wang Chun'e, who is currently being held in the Huangmei County Detention Center.

At noon on May 7, practitioner Ms. Lin Liumei from Wanggezhuang Village, Zhuangyuan Street in Qixia City/Yantai City was arrested by police from Zhuangyuan Village, who also confiscated Falun Dafa books in her home. Ms. Lin is currently being held in the Qixia City Detention Center.

Ms. He Hong from the Jiangbei District of Chongqing City was arrested by police officers from the State Security Division of the Jiangbei District Police Department. She is currently held in a brainwashing center.

On the evening of May 7, Mr. Lai Borui and Ms. Liu Yuhong and her husband were arrested at home by police officers from the Shitan Town Police Station in Zengcheng City, and their homes were ransacked. They are being held in the Zengcheng City Detention Center. Ms. Liu's parents are taking care of her four-year-old daughter.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chang Xueling Unlawfully Taken to Forced Labor

Ms. Chang Xueling is in her 40s and lived in Gongren Village, Xigang District, Dalian City. She was arrested at her workplace by the Baiyunjie Police Station on March 10. Later she was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp on April 18.

13. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Junhua Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. Wang Junhua was detained for 15 days. Because she refused to put down her signature (denouncing her practicing Falun Dafa), she was sentenced to one year of forced labor and has been taken to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she continues to be mistreated.

At noon on May 6, police officers including Liu Jingbing (male) from Laizhou City colluded with four police officers from the Guojiadian District Police Station to break into the home of Ms. Wu Xiuli from Songguang Village, Guojiadian District. They ransacked her home and tried to arrest her. Ms. Wu Xiuli's husband resisted the police officers, so they handcuffed him and injured his wrists. Ms. Wu Xiuli was taken to the police car. The police officers did not take the handcuffs off Ms. Wu Xiuli's husband until they were ready to leave.

At the end of April, Mr. Pan Yufeng was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment. He has been taken to Jingzhou City, where he is being held and tortured. Ms. Yu Huijuan and Ms. Cu Xiumei, who have been detained, were facing sentencing. Reportedly, between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on May 14, the Longcheng District Court attempted to try Ms. Feng Li and Ms. Jing Fei, while Shuangta District Court was to try Ms. Li Yingxuan.

On May 13, two practitioners from Chaoyang City were arrested by Li Zhenxing (male) from the Nantai District Police Station.

At a little past 2:00 p.m., on May 9, police from the Zhuozhou City Agriculture University Police Station led police officers, including Yang Yugang (male) from the Zhuozhou City State Security Division, in four police cars to ransack the home of practitioner Ms. Zheng Shufang. They confiscated na NTDTV satellite dish, television, a photo of the founder of Falun Dafa, a paper cutter, Chinese New Year couplets, Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, and other items. They forcibly took Ms. Zheng Shufang to the Zhuozhou City State Security Division and interrogated her for over an hour before she was released.
20. [Guangdong Province] Information on the Persecution of Practitioners from Meizhou City

Ms. Fu Xuebin from the Meizhou City Branch of the China Bank was reported to her workplace supervisors because she was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. The supervisors told her to write two reports every month to reflect on her actions, as well as to call daily to report to her supervisors. She is also required to get permission to go out of town. In addition, she was forced to watch DVDs defaming Falun Dafa. If she did not obey, she would be subjected to a fine of 100 yuan taken from her salary. By May 8, she had been fined 1,100 dollars.

On May 6 and 7, about nine police officers from the Meizhou City 610 Office broke into the home of a practitioner from Jiangnan District and confiscated Falun Dafa books and a photo of the founder of Falun Dafa. Practitioners Mr. Zhu Xiansheng, Mr. Ye Wenxin, Mr. Fan Feihai, and others were arrested at 10:20 p.m. on May 6.

At noon on May 12, Ms. Zhang Yingxian from Huancui District, Weihai City, was arrested by plainclothes police officers while she was purchasing goods using paper money on which truth-clarification messages had been written. Police subsequently followed her to ransack her home. Ms. Zhang is being held in the Huancui District Police Department. When her family went to visit her at the police department, they were turned away.

23. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zheng Donglian Arrested

Ms. Zheng Donglian is about 43 years old. At about 4:00 p.m., on May 8, she was arrested by the Dongming District Police Station of the Developing Zone Police Department while she was making truth-clarification materials in the Developing Zone. The following day, the police went to ransack her home. She is currently being held in the Weifang City Detention Center.

24. [Beijing] Ms. Fang Jirong Arrested Again by Police

Ms. Fan Jirong is in her 40s and lives in Yanqing County, Beijing. In November 2001, she was taken to Daxing Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she was subjected to forced labor for one and a half years. In March 2006, Ms. Fan was arrested for no reason by police from the Yanqing County 610 Office and State Security Division. She was held in the Yanqing County Detention Center. In the detention center, Ms. Fan appeared very ill. The police were afraid of taking responsibility for her, so she was released and taken home by her family.

In November 2006, Ms. Fan Jirong was arrested again. Several days later, she was taken to the Daxing Forced Labor Camp, where she was sentenced to do two years of forced labor. In July 2007, due to critical health problems, she was released and taken to a hospital. Even there, however, Daxing Forced Labor Camp officials still constantly harassed her. On May 7, 2008, she was again taken away by Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp authorities. At the time of her arrest, her blood pressure was 240 at the highest. Ms. Fan Jirong has been taken to the Gong'an Hospital in the forced labor camp.

On May 12, Ms. Li Qunjing and Mr. Cao Haitao from Ludui Village, Shunwang Street, Zhucheng City, were arrested by police from the Shunwang Street Police Station. On May 13, Mr. Liu Binjun and his wife, Ms. Dong Yujuan, were arrested by police from the Shunwang Street Police Station.

26. [Chongqing City] Information on the Persecution of Ms. Wang Subi

In the last half of April 2008, police from the Jiangbei District Police Department of Chongqing City notified practitioner Ms. Wang Subi's family members that Ms. Wang was sentenced to three years of forced labor. However, her family still has no idea where she was taken. Practitioners who have been arrested are Ms. Yan Guangbi, Ms. Wen Bin, Ms. Hu Zhanying, Ms. Rao Qinghui, Ms. Mou Qiming, and Ms. He Hong.

27. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Yanhua Arrested

Ms. He Yanhua is a middle school teacher from the Maogang District Shanhe Middle School. Between May 7 and May 8, she was arrested at the school and taken to the Maoming Brainwashing Center.

28. [Kaifeng County, Henan Province] Practitioners Including Ms. Guo Zhaomei Arrested

On May 13, police officers from Kaifeng County broke into the homes of Ms. Zhang Xiuqin, Ms. Guo Zhaomei, and Ms. Xiao Min in Shanzhai Village, Duliang Township. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books, a photo of the founder of Falun Dafa, and truth-clarification flyers. Since Ms. Zhang Xiuqin was not home then, only Ms. Guo Zhaomei and Ms. Xiao Min were arrested.

29. [Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province] Recent Information on the Persecution of Practitioners Including Mr. Zhang Mou

Mr. Zhang Mou was arrested on May 12. He is currently being held in Baishan Detention Center in Yangjiang City.

Ms. Li Huina was arrested by the State Security Division and 610 Office on December 27, 2007. Since her arrest, she has been held in the Baisha Detention Center of Yangjiang City. In addition, she was taken to court on May 5, 2008. She is being held in Baishan Detention Center.

Mr. Feng Jiexing and his son, Mr. Feng Changyi, were arrested on November 17, 20,07 and are now held in Baisha Detention Center in Yangjiang City. Despite their family's repeated attempts to visit, they were turned away by the police. Reportedly, these two practitioners have recently been sentenced to seven years of imprisonment.

At a little past 11:00 p.m. on May 7, about six police officers from the Luchuan County State Security Division broke into the home of Mr. Luo Shanghui, who worked at the Wenquan Town Tax Office, and ransacked his home. Later they ransacked his office. They confiscated a computer, a set of CDs for the Falun Dafa Nine-Day Lectures, and DVDs of the Falun Dafa exercises, the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular Show, and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Police took Mr. Luo Shanghui to the Wenquan Town Police Station at 2:30 a.m. At about 6:00 a.m. on May 8, police officers ransacked the home of Mr. Tan Jiren and confiscated a set of DVDs of the 2008 Chinese New Year Spectacular. They also arrested Mr. Tan Jiren and took him to the Lucheng County Police Station.

On May 8, Mr. Luo Shanghui and Mr. Tan Jiren were unlawfully interrogated. They are both in the Luchuan County Detention Center.

At 9:30 a.m. on May 13, when practitioner Ms. Xiao Hongyan returned home from grocery shopping, she was immediately harassed by about five police officers from Dongkou County and then was arrested. At 11:00 a.m., she was taken to and held in the Dongkou County Detention Center.

Ms. Xiao was arrested once by Shijiang Town Police Station officers in 2003 (between June to December) while she was clarifying the truth. She was beaten at the police station. She went on a hunger strike for more than ten days in the detention center. Her hunger strike led to the recurrence of her heart conditions, and she was later released. She spent one month in custody. During the same period of time, two other practitioners, Ms. Yang Xiufeng and a practitioner from Jiangkou Town, were also held in the Dongkou County Detention Center.

36. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhou Wenxuan Arrested Again

Mr. Zhou Wenxuan is in his 40s and used to work at the Industrial Business Bureau of the Lengshuitan District of Yongzhou City. He has disappeared since May 4. Based upon an initial investigation, it is now clear that he was arrested by Yongzhou City State Security Division officials and is being persecuted.

Mr. Wang Chen from Anguang Town, Daan City, was arrested at home on May 5. Police also confiscated a satellite dish and DVD player. Mr. Wang's 80-year-old mother does not have anybody to take care of her.

41. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Additional Information on the Arrests of Practitioners Including Mr. Li Yongxin

At a little past 3:00 p.m. on May 12, practitioners from the Tongjiangkou Township of Changtu County, including Mr. Li Yongxin, Ms. Zhao Cuizhi, Ms. Wang Lianqing, Ms. Hou Guiqin, and Ms. Zhang Peihuan and her sister, were all reported to police and subsequently arrested. They are in the Changtu County Detention Center.

The television from Mr. Li Yongxin's home and Mr. Li's daughter's expensive jewelry, with a total value of over ten thousand yuan, were confiscated. The police still tried to extort money from Mr. Li's family, allegedly to pay for Mr. Li's food.

42. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested by Police

At around 1:00 p.m. on May 13, police arrested Ms. Fei Dongmei and Ms. Zhang Chuanshu. On the morning of May 14, police arrested Mr. Jia Guirong. They have been taken to the Yongji County Detention Center.

43. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners Unlawfully Held in the Detention Center

On April 23 and April 24, 13 practitioners from Gongzhuling City were arrested. Three have been released. Mr. Li Hongjun and Mr. Zhan Guo are still in the detention center. Mr. Li Futian, Mr. Xiao Ping, Mr. Qu Yaping, Mr. Song Lihua, Mr. Zhang Lihua, Mr. Xiao Ma, Ms. Geng Wanying, Mr. Zhang Yuke, Ms. Yu Fengyun, Mr. Ma Desheng, and another unknown practitioner are in the detention center as well. Among them, Mr Zhang Yuke and Ms. Yu Fengyu have been secretly sentenced to four years of imprisonment. Mr. Li Hongjun has been sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor camp.

45. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Information on the Persecution of Ms. Zhao Guiqin

Ms. Zhao Guiqin is in her 60s. On the morning of May 12, she was reported to the police while she was clarifying the truth. She was arrested by officers with the Tawan Police Station of the Huanggu District Police Department, and her home was ransacked. Her Falun Dafa books were confiscated. On May 15, Ms. Zhao was taken to the Zitaizi District Detention Center and held there for 15 days.
46. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xiuying Arrested

On the afternoon of May 14, police officers including Li Dalong (male) from the Tiexi District Police Station of Fuyu County used the excuse of receiving a report to break into Ms. Wang Xiuying's home to ransack it. They did not find what they wanted, but they still took Ms. Wang to the Tiexi District Police Station.

Practitioners Ms. Song Jixiu, Ms. Tian Guomin, and Ms. Gu Yufen were sentenced to forced labor and are now in Harbin Women's Prison. Mr. Lin Zehua is being held in Qitaihe Prison.

49. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Shurong Arrested by Guangmin Police Station Officers

On April 23, officers from the Guangmin Police Station of Benxi City broke into Ms. Zhang Shurong's home. They confiscated two desktop computers and two desktop printers. Ms. Zhang was arrested and taken away.
50. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xuehua Held in the Huanghai District Police Station

Ms. Li Xuehua from Kangping County was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She is being held in the Huanghai District Police Station. Following her arrest, police from the Changyang Economical Development District of Kangping County broke into Ms. Li's home and confiscated her Falun Dafa books as well as some Falun Dafa materials.

Mr. Jia Shouxin and his wife, Ms. Xue Weiwei, were arrested on May 13. They are being illegally detained in Qinghe Detention Center.

55. [Beijing] Ms. Xiao Mao Arrested Again by Bajiao Police Station Officers

On April 26, practitioner Ms. Xiao Mao, who lived in the No. 15 Building in the Bajiaonanli area of Shijingshan District, Beijing, was arrested again by officers from the Bajiao Police Station. Her two sons and husband are now left at home with no one to take care of them. Ms. Xiao has been monitored by her neighbors, and her phones have been tapped.

56. [Beijing] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Ms. Yang Jinghui

Mr. Yang Jinghui is 38 years old. She is a single mother and has been living with her daughter, who is attending middle school. On April 18, Ms. Yang disappeared. Her daughter found her missing when she came home after school and realized that her home was ransacked. Ms. Yang's whereabouts is unknown.
57. [Beijing] Mr. Yang Shaocheng Unlawfully Taken Away from His Company

Mr. Yang Shaocheng, manager of the Dongye Storage and Transportation Company Inc. of Beijing, was in a forced labor camp for three years. He was released for less than a year before he was taken by police again on May 13, 2008. His home was also ransacked.

58. [Beijing] Ms. Yu Na and Another Arrested and Their Homes Ransacked

On May 8, Ms. Yu Na and another practitioner from the Andingmen area, Dongcheng District, Beijing, were arrested, and their homes were ransacked by police, who confiscated computers as well as two large packages of all types of truth-clarification materials.
59. [Tianjing City] Ms. Feng Kun to Be Secretly Tried

Ms. Feng Kun from Dagang District of Tianjin City has been held in Beichen District Detention Center. Tianjin City 610 Office personnel plan to try her without notifying her family.

60. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

Since May 9, police officers from the Douhutun Township Police Station of Liaocheng City have been arresting practitioners, including: Mr. Liu Changrong, Mr. Liu Changdai, Mr. Liu Changwei, Mr. Liang Shan, and Mr. Cai Zhenghua.

61. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yuan Yankong Arrested

At about 4:00 p.m., on May 12, Mr. Yuan Yankong was arrested by police from the Weicheng District Police Department at his workplace after he was reported. His home was ransacked on the afternoon of the same day. Police confiscated Falun Dafa books, a computer, a CD burner, and other items. Mr. Yuan is being held in the Weicheng City Detention Center.

At around 11:00 a.m. on May 13, the CCP cadres from the Retired CCP Cadre Institute of the Taian City Military Subdivision colluded with police from the Daizongfang District Police Station to arrest Ms. Liu Liya. They also ransacked her home. They confiscated computers, a printer, and other items.

64. [Ling County, Shandong Province] Mr. Chen Aiguo Subjected to Forced Labor

In March 2008, Mr. Chen Aiguo was arrested by Ling County Police Department officers and taken to the Ling County Detention Center. Reportedly, Mr. Chen has been sentenced to forced labor.

66. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Lijun Sentenced to Three Years of Custody

On September 30, 2007, Ms. Wang Lijun was arrested and taken to a detention center after her home was ransacked. Later she was released due to illness. On October 9, 2007, she was taken to a brainwashing center for over ten days. On April 25, 2008, she was sentenced to three years in custody.

67. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioners Mr. Huang Jibing and Ms. Fan Rujie Arrested

At around 11:00 p.m on May 10, Mr. Huang Jibing from the Sanlijie District of Jiujiang City was arrested at home. At 12:00 p.m. on May 12, Ms. Fan Rujie was also arrested at home. Her whereabouts is still unknown.

68. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lei Huirong and Ms. Chen Guifang Unlawfully Held in the Jianwei County Detention Center

At 1:15 a.m. on May 12, Mr. Lei Huirong and Ms. Chen Guifang from the Wutongqiao District, Leshan City, were followed by police from the Jianwei County Police Department while they were posting truth-clarification materials. The two were subsequently arrested. They are being held in the Jianwei County Detention Center.

At 4:00 p.m. on May 13, the homes of these two practitioners were ransacked, and police confiscated truth-clarification materials and Falun Dafa books.

69. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Li Arrested on May 14

Practitioner Li from the Haizhu District, Guangzhou City was arrested on May 14. The police went to ransack the practitioner's home and confiscated truth-clarification materials as well as a copy of Zhuan Falun. Practitioner Li is currently in the Fenghuang Police Station in the Haizhu District.

70. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Xing Songming Arrested

Mr. Xing Songling from the Tianhe District of Guangzhou City was arrested by police on his way to work on the morning of May 14. On the same day, his home at the Color Metal Research Institute of Guangzhou City was ransacked. It is not certain where Mr. Xing Songming is held.
