(Clearwisdom.net) It was very quiet at the flea market on the morning of the last Sunday in March. It was Easter Sunday, and many people had gone to church. I set up my booth and chatted with the two in charge of the booths next to me. One was Old Wang, a Chinese, and the other was a newcomer, an American.

Old Wang said that there had been an Easter egg hunt in the park next to the flea market the year prior. Some of the eggs had pieces of paper with booth numbers on them. When the eggs with the booth numbers were returned to that booth, the children would receive a large discount. I asked him what the real meaning of Easter was. He did not know. I told him, "Jesus Christ resurrected on the Sunday after he was killed. Many Christians and Westerners believe this. That is why there are fewer people at the flea market today. However, few Chinese believe it. They say, 'What? A person can resurrect after death?' and call it superstition. The traditional Chinese cultural notion of 'respecting Heaven and understanding fate' was swept out by the 'Four Old Things' during the Cultural Revolution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Buddha's theories of reincarnation and goodness begetting good and evil being punished are labeled as superstition. The Cultural Revolution also denounced Lin Biao (the CCP vice president, whom President Mao Zedong overcame in a power struggle) and Confucius. They labeled the virtues taught by Confucius as 'so-called virtues' to give them a negative connotation. When the CCP persecuted Falun Gong, they labeled the Falun Gong's 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance' as 'so-called Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance.' There are many problems in China today, including corruption, pollution, farmers losing farmland, unfair distribution of wealth, unemployment for college graduates, and so on. All of these problems are caused by the CCP lies and brainwashing of people with the Party culture. This just proves heaven's law that good begets good and that evil will be punished." Old Wang agreed, "The CCP is really bad." I asked him whether he had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He said, "Yeah, I did it quite a while ago!"

After a while, the American in charge of the other booth chatted with me. He said that he had said his Easter prayers the night before. Because of business, he did not go to church. I said, "That's fine. As long as you believe 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance' in your heart. Falun Gong teaches us that." It was the first time he had heard of Falun Gong. He seemed pleased and went back to his customers.

Later, I talked to a customer. I said, "Why should people celebrate Easter? It was humans persecuting God. God came to the human world to teach them to be good, but humans persecuted Jesus to death. When that occurred, no one dared to stand up and stop it. This was a great shame for the human race. Nowadays the same situation is happening in China. Several thousand believers of 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance' have been tortured to death by the CCP." The customer said, "I have heard of it." I told him that many people believing in these principles are "clarifying the trut" to people, and many Chinese understand the truth. He said, "That's very good!" He explained to me, "The celebration of Easter is to celebrate Jesus' dying for people, resurrecting, and then saving people." And he became a loyal customer to me later.

The owner of another neighboring booth was a Christian from Taiwan. I told him about the CCP persecution of Falun Gong, the destruction of the traditional Chinese culture, and the poisoning of Chinese people with the Party culture, and I gave him a copy of the article "What Jesus Wants to Tell People from His Resurrection" from "Minghui Weekly," a weekly magazine published by Minghui.org, the Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net. He read it. He said that it was the first time he had ever seen the interpretation of the Book of Revelations, Chapter 12, "a great red dragon" as a prophecy of the CCP. He also said the quotation from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 25, from the Bible was accurate. He kept the article to read again.

I also met a priest from Canada in the park. I told him about the CCP persecution of Falun Gong and its destruction of traditional Chinese culture. He talked to me about God. I wanted him to have a positive understanding of Falun Gong with righteous thoughts towards the persecution, so I asked him, "Why do you follow Jesus Christ? If Jesus tells you to do bad things, will you follow him?" He said he wouldn't. I said, "Falun Gong teaches me to be a good person. If you really believe in Jesus, you should follow his words. Jesus told his disciples to help the people with righteousness to believe, as it says in Matthew, Chapter 25, in the Bible. When good people are being persecuted, and you do nothing and say nothing about it, are you following Jesus? Those who believe that 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance' is bad will go to hell. Those who believe that 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance' is good will go to heaven. Telling people the truth about the CCP persecution is saving them. Please read the Bible to really understand what Jesus tells you." The priest said, "Of course, we should stop the persecution."
