(Clearwisdom.net) Houston Service Center for Quitting the CCP held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate at 10:00 p.m. to 11:00p.m. on May 20, 2008, strongly condemning the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) attack on quitting the CCP activities in New York.

Zhou Yongkang, head of the Central Political and Legislative Committee of the CCP, has recently directed and disrupted rallies held in support of Chinese people quitting the CCP organizations and Human Rights Torch Relay activities overseas. Zhou has made use of CCP spies overseas, Chinese community organizations and Chinese students and scholars associations, to incite hatred, and hired thugs and rogues to make trouble. They assaulted Chinese who participated in rallies in support of Chinese people quitting the CCP organizations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong and other places. In particular, within several days between May 17 and May 20, the Flushing Service Center for Quitting the CCP, one of the New York branches of the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP was met with a large scale harassment and assault organized by the Chinese Consulate.
In front of the Chinese Consulate in Houston, Volunteers at the Service Center for Quitting the CCP held banners reading, "Heaven will eliminate the evil CCP, quitting the CCP is for your own safety," "Support 37 million Chinese people quitting the CCP organizations," "CCP is not China" and other banners. Ms. Tang, coordinator of the Service Center for Quitting the CCP made a speech. She strongly condemned the recent strings of incidents in New York that were directed by behind-the-scene mastermind Zhou Yongkang. Zhou hired thugs to disrupt and assault a service center for quitting the CCP in New York, and assaulted and injured volunteers at the service center and Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Huang, volunteer at the Service Center for Quitting the CCP said that so long as the CCP exists, national disasters will continue to occur. The CCP refused the international support during the catastrophic Tangshan Earthquake 32 years ago, resulting in the death of several hundred thousand people. During the SARS epidemic five years ago, the CCP covered up the epidemic situation, leading to the outbreak of SARS worldwide. This time, before the earthquake in Sichun Province, the CCP suppressed the earthquake prediction reports, did not dispatch rescue support within 72 hours of precious time for rescuing life after the earthquake, corrupt local government officials' jerry-rigged projects led to the collapse of houses and school buildings and the deaths of tens of thousands of people. The CCP regards human life as worthless, and yet it poses as a savior.
During the disaster in Sichuan Province at present, when it is imperative to rescue the people who are suffering from the disaster and save more lives, the CCP spent a large amount of time and money and had the Chinese consulates deploy and implement attacks on overseas quitting the CCP activities. Participants included CCP spies, overseas pro-Communist personnel in the Chinese community, and thugs and troublemakers bought off by the Chinese consulates and people who were beguiled by the CCP into participating. Some troublemakers used their cell phones to call for more people to join in the assault. A Chinese man was heard to yell into his cell phone "Hurry! Bring more people over here. Each person will be paid 90 dollars."
The CCP's manipulating troublemakers to harass and assault volunteers at Quitting the CCP Service Center and Falun Gong practitioners, aims to continue its policy of persecuting Falun Gong overseas, deprive people of the right to understand the facts and interfere with people quitting the CCP organizations for their own safety and further extend its authoritarian rule.
Volunteers participating in the protest activity said that the CCP's evil nature and its crimes will speed up its disintegration and its demise is imminent. Heaven will eliminate the CCP, and Heaven will protect China. Only by quitting the CCP organizations, can one's safety by guaranteed, and can one avoid an even bigger disaster.
