(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Lin Hongliang, a financial analyst in Kaohsiung Taiwan, attended the Chinese Spectacular on March 6. He said, "The show is like food for the soul, nourishing my tired heart. I feel happy and joyful after experiencing it."

After the performance, Mr. Lin shared his impressions of the show. "The artists expressed their souls and their skills completely in every dance. I could sense the beauty that they expressed through their lives and passion. The audience was totally into it. After this beautiful spiritual journey, my heart is full of joy."
Mr. Lin has been to China and has seen shows there. He said the shows are very different in China: "The ones from China were materialistic, but the Divine Performing Arts performance was beautiful and has profound content, which can really touch people's hearts."
Mr. Lin continued, "The sense of spirituality is important. As described in a song from the show, people are lost in the competitiveness of modern society. People place emphasis on a material life, but their hearts are empty and tired. In this sense, I think this show is very good, and not comparable to simple material enjoyment. The show gave me many ideas about life."
Mr. Lin liked the dance, "The Fruits of Goodness." He said, "It is very educational for young people. If one has righteous thoughts, then gods and Buddha will guide his life and make his life meaningful. It is really a great number."
Mr. Lin said that he was deeply moved by the dance, "The Power of Awareness." "Before, I only knew about truthfulness, compassion and beauty. Today, I learned the meaning of 'forbearance.' In today's society, conflicts between people cannot be avoided. We can solve them only by respecting each other and forbearing each other. Only this way can we experience real joy. The mother and daughter, holding the banner of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,' are like angels, spreading brightness and hope in the world," he said.
It makes Mr. Lin sad that people ignore the injustices taking place in the world. He said the dance, "The Power of Awareness" is helpful in waking up people's consciences. "I had heard about Falun Gong, but only today, I learned that they follow the principle of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' They follow this principle even under persecution. I felt that it is my, and everyone's, responsibility to stop the persecution."
Mr. Lin was amazed that the theater was packed. He realized that no one wanted to miss this show. "It is truly wonderful. I believe even more people will come next year," he said.
