They confiscated some of her of property and arrested her. A fellow practitioner, Ms. Yang Xiangzhen, who is in her 60s, heard the ruckus and came over to Ms. Dong's house. Even though she was taking care of Ms. Dong's daughter at the time, she was also arrested.

Within one year, Ms. Dong Chunmei has been arrested by agents of the Tanghe County 610 Office three times. Every time she was arrested, her 14 year-old daughter was left at home without anyone to care for her. She has been suspended from school for several months. This young girl has a very hard time taking care of herself at such a young age.

The whereabouts of Ms. Dong and Ms. Yang Xiangzhen are unknown.
