(Clearwisdom.net) In the first half of the year in 2007, the local police departments, 610 Offices, and the National Security Bureau and National Security Division continuously illegally arrested, detained and sentenced local Falun Dafa practitioners. At this moment, there are still over ten practitioners detained at the Third Custodial Station in Jilin City.
We learned that the torture methods they used were more severe and vicious than any of the methods that have been used since the persecution began. Almost all of the practitioners who were arrested were sent to the Police Dogs Base in Jilin City. Specially trained police inhumanely and barbarically tortured practitioners attempting to force practitioners to make confessions of guilt. Practitioners were beaten in so badly that were covered with bruises and injuries and some were even disabled and unable to take care of themselves. Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Mingli was tortured to death.
Some of the practitioners have been detained for ten months. The 610 Office and the municipal justice organizations continue persecuting local practitioners without any evidence. They, themselves are violating the law. From the cultivation point of view, however, we have demonstrated many shortcomings and gaps in the process of rescuing our fellow practitioners.
If the local practitioners in Jilin City could quickly regard rescuing the detained practitioners as their priority after the persecution took place, and if everyone could cooperate well, do whatever they could, expose the evil, clarify the facts to various organizations, let go of personal gains and losses, let go of sentiment towards family and personal interests, and send pure righteous thoughts for detained practitioners, we would have cleared away the evil beings and evil factors that persecuted Dafa practitioners in other dimensions. During this process, many people who participated in the persecution would have learned the truth through our "truth clarification", and many would have become clear-headed after we exposed the persecution and they would thus stop persecuting Dafa practitioners and choose a bright future for themselves and be saved by Dafa. At the same time, we would have created a more relaxed environment for cultivation. In reality though, we had many problems and gaps in our cultivation. Due to our human attachments and low spirits, we were slow, passive, and even numb to rescuing our fellow practitioners. We hardly made any progress in the process of rescuing them.
During the past nine years of cultivation, every time we were persecuted, our practitioners' hearts were moved, and some of the practitioners were affected and thus relaxed the requirements for themselves. Some practitioners gave up cultivation, some were forced to leave home, some compromised and enlightened on the evil path, and some even betrayed their fellow practitioners. Many diligent practitioners were also affected and hid for their own safety. Under such circumstances, practitioners who would participate in rescuing fellow practitioners were not many. Many practitioners were interfered with by work, studies, housework, and qing, and were not able to take part in rescuing practitioners. Only a few practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts for detained practitioners. When we said we should form one body, we only said it, but didn't put it into action. We stood by and were not actively involved. Some practitioners said that if their family members were persecuted, they would do whatever possible, even not sleeping, eating or drinking, and would have sent forth righteous thoughts for them all the time. If every one of us could act like this, practitioners who were persecuted would have walked out of the evil den a long time ago.
In their experience sharing papers, some practitioners asked why practitioners, even those who have cultivated quite well, were still persecuted at the very end of the Fa-rectification and when the evil has been mostly cleared away. If we asked ourselves, we would know the answer immediately. If we still use human hearts to understand Dafa and cultivation in the Fa-rectification period, we will not be like gods. The divine powers that Master has given to us will not play their important role in harmonizing things and eliminating the evil. As a Chinese saying goes, one begs for food with a golden rice bowl. Even now, we still rely on Master to end this persecution and to rescue the practitioners in prison. During our cultivation in the Fa-rectification period, if we are not able to take responsibility and complete the mission that Master has bestowed upon us, and if we still rely on Master's Fa power to push us forward, aren't we disappointing? Don't we feel ashamed for ourselves? Are we worthy of Master's salvation?
Looking back on how we have walked the path up until today in this persecution, every practitioner needs to think calmly. Have we truly become mature after we learned the lesson? How many opportunities have been missed under the interference of self protection, with deviated human notions? Have we walked a cultivation path in the Fa-rectification period where we validate Dafa, clarify the facts, expose the evil, spread the Nine Commentaries, and ask people to withdraw from the CCP?
Whatever Dafa practitioners have done in one area determines the stability of that environment and how many sentient beings can learn the facts and thus be saved by Dafa. In those areas where practitioners have done well, there is no persecution or very few instances of persecution. Many more people quit the CCP in that area and the cultivation environment is also better; more practitioners step out to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. All of this is closely related to our doing the three things well.
In first half of last year in our area, severe persecution of our local Dafa practitioners has taken place. Each of our practitioners has to look inward and none of us should find external excuses and complain about this and that. The problem is caused by us not doing well. The unsteadiness of us as one body gave the evil excuses to take advantage of and persecute us. It is our human attachments and unrighteous thoughts that caused the evil, which had been cleared out in the Fa-rectification, to re-appear again, even larger and more arrogant than before. We must learn from this lesson. In the last moment of the Fa-rectification, let's get rid of human attachments and become gods. In this way we can end this most evil persecution which should have never happened.
