(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Ding Baoguo from Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, Died after Tracking and Persecuting Practitioners
On October 28, 2008, 70-year-old Ding Baoguo from Hongfeng Community,Yushan Town, Kunshan City, Jiangsu City tripped while talking a walk. He began bleeding from his ears and eyes, nose and mouth and died before he could be taken to the hospital.
During the past several years, the CCP encouraged Ding Baoguo to track Falun Gong practitioners by offering him a small payment of several hundred yuan. Kind practitioners clarified the truth to him many times, but he never listened. On the contrary, he reported them to the police.
Superintendents Liu Benxiao and Song Qingli Die after Persecuting Practitioners
Liu Benxiao was from Kezuo Conty, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. In 2000, he was a superintendent in a Kezuo County police station. During that time, many practitioners went to government agencies to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. After they came back from Beijing, Liu Benxiao went to their homes to arrest and detain them. Later, he suffered from colon cancer. He couldn't eat or drink after surgery. He died after six months at only 47 years old.
In 2000, Song Qingli of Huanren County, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, was a superintendent at the county police station. When local practitioners went to Beijing to appeal and were detained, Song Qingli went to Beijing and brought them back. Arriving back in Huanren County, he persecuted them cruelly. Song Qingli was so inhumane that he violently beat a practitioner with a leather whip in front of the practitioner's five-year-old daughter. That man was wounded all over, blue in the face, and couldn't even lift his up head. His daughter was so scared that she held her father's leg and shouted. This was a terrible thing for a little girl to have to witness, but Song Qingli showed no mercy in front of her. He never stopped persecuting practitioners. Finally, he fell down a dry well and died. His body was not found until two days later.
Zhao Xinchao, Deputy Mayor of Shijiazhuang City, Persecuted Practitioners; Currently Detained
The deputy mayor of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province has been detained because of his involvement in the contaminated milk scandal and serious economic crimes. He is awaiting trial. He has already been fired from his position.
Zhao Xinchao used to be the secretary of Pingshan County. He was in power exactly when Jiang Zemin's regime began the violent persecution of Falun Gong. He closely followed Jiang's regime and acted as a pioneer to persecute Falun Gong. He commanded the police several times to arrest hundreds of practitioners, ransack their homes, and sentence them to forced labor or to prison terms. Some practitioners were tortured to death just because they refused to give up their belief in Falun Dafa, some practitioners' families were destroyed, and others were persecuted to the point of mental disorder. Pingshan County is one of the places where practitioners were most seriously persecuted throughout the province and even throughout the country.
Zhao Xinchao had his sights set on a higher position but suffered retribution less than five months after he was promoted to the position of deputy mayor.
I urge those people who still keep themselves in the dark without being enlightened to it, or those police or government officials who have already understood the truth but stll dare not behave kindly and those people who don't know the truth: Please be clear-minded, distinguish good from evil. Disavow the evil CCP and quit it and its youth organizations. Only by doing this can you have a bright future.
