(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 28 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Seven Falun Dafa Practitioners Sentenced by the Qianguo County Court
Mr. Dong Fengshan was born on July 19, 1961 and lives at the Lianhuapao Farm of Qianguo County. He was arrested on October 13, 2007 and sentenced to nine years of imprisonment.
Ms. Zhang Xiulan was born on December 19, 1965 and lives in Huadian City, Jilin Province. On November 3, 2007, she was arrested. She was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment.
Ms. Yang Mei was born on September 16, 1967 and lives in Huadian City, Jilin Province. On October 14, 2007, she was arrested. She was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment.
Mr. Xu Yangang was born on January 3, 1979 and lives at the Hongxing Field of Qianguo County. On October 17, 2007, he was arrested. He was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment.
Ms. Xu Fengqin was born on January 7, 1972 and lives on Shihua Street in Songyuan City. On October 14, 2007, she was arrested. She was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment.
Mr. Li Sheng was born on April 10, 1978 and lives on Fanrong Street in Ningjiang District, Songyuan City. On October 14, 2007, he was arrested. He was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment.
Ms. Ma Shijie was born on January 4, 1961 and lives in Pingchuan Village, Yongping Township, Fuyu County. On October 13, 2007, she was arrested. She was sentenced to four years of imprisonment.
2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Bai Yaping Sent to a Brainwashing Center After Being Persecuted in Prison for Seven Years
Ms. Bai Yaping from Hongshan District, Chifeng City was persecuted in the Baoanzhao Prison of Inner Mongolia for seven years. On October 24, 2008, her term was over. When her family went to pick her up, they were told that she had been sent to the Chifeng Brainwashing Center by the Chifeng City 610 Office.
3. [Taizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Haitang, Mr. Wang Xianjin and Mr. Lin Zhishan Sent to Forced Labor Camp
On January 9, 2008, Ms. Xu Haitang, Mr. Wang Xianjin and Mr. Lin Zhishan from Taishan City went to Leqing in Wenzhou City to distribute the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party." They were reported and then arrested. Mr. Wang was sentenced to four years in a forced labor camp, Ms. Xu to four and a half years and Mr. Lin Zhishan, a disabled person, to five years. They are being detained in Moganshan, Hanzhou City, Jiangsu Province.
4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Shao Hua Arrested
Ms. Shao Hua from Haizhu District was arrested at her home on October 22, 2008. She is being detained and forced to go through brainwashing sessions in the Guangzhou Law and Politics School.
5. [Dengta City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiuli and Ms. Li Hua Arrested
On the morning of October 27, 2008, Ms. Wang Xiuli and Ms. Li Hua from Liuhe Town, Dengta City went to a village in Huazi Town, Dengta City to clarify the truth. They were arrested by officers of the Huazi Police Department and sent to the Liaoyang City Detention Center.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Han Huiliang Arrested Again
On September 17, 2008, Mr. Han Huiliang was arrested again by the Nan District National Security Team at Tangshan Road. He was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp for two years of forced labor.
7. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Xinhua Arrested
Ms. Yu Xinhua lives in Dabaihu Village, Houjia Town, Wendeng City, Shandong Province. On October 24, 2008, she was arrested by local CCP personnel.
8. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Mo Chaojian and Other Practitioners Sentenced
Mr. Mo Chaojian is from Guangxi Province and is a doctor at the Zibo City Third People's Hospital. He was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment and sent to Kunlun Prison. Ms. Xu Guilan, from Songjia Village, Fujia Town, Zhangdian District, was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment; Ms. Li Xiuyun, 7 years; Ms. Wang Taimei, 4 years; Mr. Yang Tong, 5 years; and Mr. Yang Dezhong and his wife, 5 years each. Ms. Yangyang was sentenced to four years of imprisonment and sent to the Shandong Women's Prison in Jinan City. Mr. Lu Tao and Ms. Sun Cuixiang are being detained in the Fourth Division of Zibo Detention Center.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] At Night on October 26, 2008, Liu Shulin, Li Lankui and Cheng Lin from Donganfeng Village, Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City Were Arrested
10. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Desheng's Whereabouts Unknown
On July 23, 2008, Mr. Chen Desheng from Yingcheng City was arrested. He was detained in the Yingcheng City First Detention Center for 70 days and brutally tortured to the verge of death. The detention center officers asked his family to take him home. On October 23, 2008, officers of the Chengzhong Police Station of Yingcheng City planned to arrest Mr. Chen again. His whereabouts are unknown.
11. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Guilan Arrested
At 11 a.m. on October 22, 2008, policeman Jiang Yonghui from the Shanghewan Town Police Station in Jiutai City led policemen from the Jiutai City Police Department to break into the home of Ms. Yin Guilan. Ms. Yin was arrested and detained in Jiutai City.

12. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Disabled Mr. Lang Baiming Sent to Forced Labor Camp
On August 1, 2008, Mr. Lang Baiming was arrested by officers of the local Jijia Township Police Station just because he said at home that Falun Dafa is good. He was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. He is being detained in the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City.

13. [Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Su Caihua Detained
Ms. Su Caihua, in her 50's, lives in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province. On May 23, 2003, she was sentenced to four years of imprisonment by the Xiangshan County Court of Zhejiang Province. After being released, she was arrested again by the Ninghai County Police Department for clarifying the truth. She is being detained in the Ninghai County Detention Center.
14. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Qiguo, Ms. Wu Yaqin and Other Practitioners Still Detained
During the Beijing Olympic Games, Mr. Li Qiguo, Ms. Wu Yaqin, Mr. Chen Feng, Mr. Fang Tianming, Mr. Liu Jigang, Ms. Li Xuezhen and other practitioners were arrested. They have been detained in the Cuijiashan First Detention Center and the Lockup Center. Many of these practitioners are very weak as a result of persecution. However, the 610 Office has still not released them.
