Oct. 27

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Huang Chaowu has been persecuted to the brink of death at Majialong Forced Labor Camp in Jiujiang City. He is emaciated and very weak.

Oct. 28

The 2nd Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province uses brutal and inhumane methods to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. One of them is the use of psychotropic drugs in order to make practitioners suffer mental collapses. Another method is adding drug to practitioners' food so that they are unable to sleep, difficult with bowel movement/urination, swelling in their feet and unable to walk.

On July 10, 2008, the Women and Children's Hospital of Hunan Province officials took Falun Gong practitioner Ms. He Xianggu to the Mental Hospital of Hunan Province, where she has been held for more than three months. Since October 10, 2008, staffs at the psychiatric hospital have violently injected her with drugs that damage the central nervous system. Ms. He Xianggu didn't take any food after the forced injection. Her current condition gives cause for grave concern.

In April 2000, the Wall Street Journal posted an artcle about Ms. Chen Zixiu, a Falun Gong practitioner from Weifang, Shandong province who was persecuted to death by local authorities. This report attracted international attention and the author, Ian Johnson, received a Pulitzer Prize for it. Over the past nine years, Chen Zixiu's family members have continued to be persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. Most recently, Chen Zixiu's nephew Mr. Li Jiangang, his parents Li Hengnan and Zhang Yufang, his fiancee Kong Qian and Ms. Kong's mother Li Xiyun were all arrested in July 2008 before the Olympics. Ms. Kong has been tied to a frame in the shape of a cross and is near death.

Oct. 30

In May 26, 2008, while Jiang Yabin worked in a rice field, more than twenty policemen broke into his home and stole much of his property, even his roof tiles. This October, his family members discover he has been illegally sentenced to a labor camp. He is preparing a legal appeal of his sentence.

Oct. 31

Ms Wang Yanhong was arrested on September 4, 2008 and tortured to death on September 24. Only 46 years old, she was quickly cremated.

Nov. 1

Mr Kang most recent arrest was August 23, 2008. At the time of his arrest much of his property was stolen and he is currently hospitalized.

Nov. 2

Mr. Liu Tianhou, a veteran soldier who had served for the Chinese Communist Army, was arrested ten times for his belief in Falun Gong. He died on October 27 in Wumaping Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province.
