(Clearwisdom.net) During these years of the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I have been sent to brainwashing centers several times by my workplace. They reported me to the 610 Office, which then sent me to forced labor camps. I have realized that the CCP is brutal and evil. Meanwhile, fellow practitioners have helped me to better understand the meaning of "dissolving the grudge by treating others compassionately." When I face the temptations of fame, personal gain and emotion, I firmly follow the standards of Truthfulness- Benevolence-Forbearance to solve problems and validate Falun Dafa's selflessness and profoundness.
Exchanging residences with my neighbor
I used to live on the 3rd floor. There is a sick neighbor who lived on 6th floor, and it was hard for her to climb the stairs. She would often need to rest a while in front of my door. One day, she said to me with sadness, "I wonder if there is a good person who would exchange their home with mine." I thought that as a Falun Dafa practitioner, I should help others who are in need. I replied, "I can exchange mine with you, so it will be easier for you to climb up to the 3rd floor instead of the 6th floor." She was delighted, and we went ahead with the exchange. Soon I found out that the place on the 6th floor got very hot in the summer. My fellow practitioners did not understand why I exchanged my home without thinking it through beforehand. Now it seems that I live in an uncomfortable environment. Ordinary people told me that I was foolish. But because of what I did, this neighbor became a Falun Gong practitioner, and she is now in good health with a bright spirit.
Returning additional money
After I returned home from a forced labor camp, my workplace did not resume my
benefits and salary, using numerous excuses to justify the situation. I talked
with my manager in the workplace, but he only agreed to give me some of the
money. I said, "If this is my money, you should pay me now or you will have
to pay me much more in the future. " However, he refused to change his
decision. Since I was in need of the money that he had agreed to give me to
settle my basic living expenses, I did not pursue it further. Without checking
the amount, I put the money in my purse and left.
When I got off duty in the evening, I checked the payment receipt. There was an amount of almost 400 yuan which I had previously received. I quickly went back and found the person in charge, and I explained to him that I was there to return the extra money. I said to him with a smile, "Please check this receipt again. I had received this extra amount before, and I want to return this money." He was moved and thanked me for my honesty.
