(Clearwisdom.net) Dalian practitioner Ms. Cong Peijing was arrested by police from the Rixin Police Station in Xigang District, Dalian City on October 14, 2008. During the arrest, her spine was re-injured. She is now imprisoned in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. Ms. Shen Hongbo, another practitioner that was arrested along with Ms. Cong, is also being detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.

Ms. Cong Peijing is a practitioner from Jinzhou District, Dalian City. She was born in Pulandian City in Liaoning Province. She has been arrested by the CCP 6 or 7 times and suffered brutal persecution. A part of her spine was fractured and dislocated in 2001. In order to escape from the CCP, she jumped from a high window of a police station in Jinzhou District, injuring her spine. Afterwards, she was tortured numerous times by the CCP. As a result, her spine was never able to fully recover. On August 2, 2006, she was arrested by officers from the Wanli Police Station. She went on a hunger strike to protest against persecution at the Yaojia Detention Center and was subjected to force-feeding. She was tortured to the verge of death.

This time, police from the Rixin Police Station tracked and monitored Ms. Cong from Dalian City to Jinzhou District, and then followed her for three days in Jinzhou. At around 7:40 a.m. on October 14, 2008, Ms. Cong's flat mate Ms. Shen Hongbo was stopped by 3 plainclothes police officers as she walked from the apartment to the district gate. Ms. Shen did not know their identity and tried to get away. Neighbors said that the three officers beat her to the ground and arrested her.

They grabbed the key from Ms. Shen, opened the door and handcuffed Ms. Cong. They also arrested Ms. Shen's mother, who was over 70 years old. Five more officers were called in and began ransacking their home, confiscating their computer, printer, CD-burner and other personal items. Neighbors said that the items confiscated were enough to fill up a whole car.

Afterwards, they put Ms. Cong, Ms. Shen and her mother in a car. When Ms. Shen and her mother were being arrested, the neighbors shouted, "Hurry up, come and see. The police have arrested an ill old lady." The staff of the building repeated to the police that Ms. Shen's mother had been ill for six months and had only recently recovered. She would not be able to withstand any sort of stress, but the police took her away anyway.

Black plastic bags were wrapped over Ms. Cong and Ms. Shen's heads. The neighbors watched as the CCP personnel kicked, punched and pushed Ms. Cong into the car. They even kicked her after she collapsed in the car. According to reports, neighbors yelled, "The police are beating people up! They injured that woman."

Ms. Cong was carried into the car. Looking at her expression, she must have been in a lot of pain. When Ms. Shen's mother entered the car, she saw Ms. Cong lying flat and unable to move with her hands cuffed behind her back. A police officer said, "Don't worry. She's been arrested many times. Her spine is just like that, it becomes dislocated with a simple pull. Once it's back to the right position, everything will be fine."

Ms. Cong, Ms. Shen and her mother were taken to Rixin Police Station, and they were separately interrogated. At around 5 p.m., Ms. Shen's mother was released. Ms. Cong and Ms. Shen were taken to Yaojia Detention Center.

Ms. Shen Hongbo and her mother are from Heilongjiang province, and they manage a dumpling restaurant in Jinzhou District. They adopted the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance in the way they do business. They are especially careful with food quality and hygiene, resulting in many happy customers. Not only did the persecution damage their business, it also brought great pain and mental anguish to the elderly mother. Now every day she travels to Jinzhou District, hoping to rescue the two ladies. However, the direct party responsible, the Rixin Police Station, say that the two were already transferred to the Xigang District Legal Education Branch.

Currently, the two women's family members are trying to get them released. Hopefully, people outside of China can help put an end to this persecution.
