(Clearwisdom.net) On September 23, 2007, the European Fa Conference was held in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and Falun Gong practitioners from 29 countries attended. Compassionate and great Teacher sent congratulations to the Fa Conference, once again teaching practitioners, "Dafa disciples' cultivation is not merely for individual Consummation. Saving sentient beings is the responsibility of Dafa disciples, a responsibility that those cultivators who bear the title "Dafa Disciple" must fulfill." (Official translation) and encouraged practitioners to do even better.
Since the first European Fa Conference was held in Frankfurt, Germany in 1998, nine years have passed, Falun Gong practitioners in Europe hold Fa conferences at least once a year, to share their experiences in cultivation. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, the sharing also included how practitioners improve themselves while participating in truth-clarification, and activities to stop the persecution. Sixteen practitioners shared their experiences on how to walk the cultivation path, how to clarify the facts in various environments, how to improve "xinxing", and how to remain steadfast in their righteous thoughts while working on projects.
Firmly Believe in Teacher and Dafa
Ms. Zhang from the UK talked about how she encountered great difficulties in coordinating a Fa-validating project. The progress was slow, but through calmly studying the Fa, she enlightened that she should improve her xinxing. In face of pressure layer upon layer, she felt extreme grief, her body and mind were extremely exhausted, and she was unable to continue with the project. After sharing with fellow practitioners, she realized all of her worries were manifestations of not truly believing in Teacher and Dafa. Once she stabilized her faith in Teacher and Dafa, she again went to work with a smile, and good energy. At the critical moment of the activity, practitioners made concerted efforts--some clarified the truth, and others sent forth righteous thoughts-- and ultimately the activity was a complete success. Ms. Zhang said that fellow practitioners' righteous support, and help in various forms were very important to ensure the success of the activity. At the same time, she also mentioned that studying the Fa with concentration every day is also extremely important.
"This is the Truth that I Have Been Seeking in My Life"
Jaya is a company manager who lives in London. Before practicing Falun Gong, he was full of questions about life, and also encountered lots of troubles. He had five car accidents, and attempted to commit suicide three times due to too much stress.
Once, he noticed after his father practiced Falun Gong, not only did his temper improve, but he also stopped smoking and drinking, habits he'd had for over 40 years. Therefore he decided to practice Falun Gong. After reading "Zhuan Falun", all his questions and puzzles disappeared. He thought, "This is the truth that I have been seeking in my life." His friends and colleagues also noticed that he had become kind, and no longer selfish.
Now, he not only has a successful career, a happy family, and substantial life, but also puts in much effort participating in projects to stop the persecution in China.
A Witness to Teacher's Greatness and Dafa's Supernatural Power
To Ms. Zhang of Switzerland, one and a half years of practicing Falun Gong has improved her both physically and mentally, and also benefited her family as well.
Before she became a practitioner, she could only move with difficulty. She had a serious heart problem, and in order to meet an emergency, she kept an oxygen bottle at her bedside all the time. However, after she practiced Falun Gong, her problem completely disappeared; moreover, not only does she enjoy good health, she has also become gentle and no longer complains to others. Her family also benefits from Dafa. Because Ms. Zhang helped to teach her children with her enlightenment from Zhuan Falun of looking inside during tribulations, she helped to solve problems in their lives and careers.
After practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Zhang attained a healthy and happy life. She also hopes more people can understand the truth about Falun Gong, and more Chinese people will not be deceived by the CCP, so she uses all means to clarify the truth.
Clarifying the Truth to the Chinese by All Methods
Ms. Ye from Ireland shared her experiences in clarifying the truth to Chinese by different methods. She overcame her mentality of having fear in difficulty, installed web tools, and clarified the truth to Chinese people on the web. Meanwhile, she also helped other practitioners to use the web tools in truth-clarification.
Ms. Ye has persisted in sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy and Consulate. She also witnessed the changes of Embassy staff. Because they often see Ms. Ye, the Embassy staff often smile at her and greet her. One staff member even said to her: "I indeed admire you, you are so great." Ms. Ye enlightened from changes in the Embassy staff that sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Embassy and Consulate also helps the staff to cast off the CCP's evil spirits, allowing them to accept truth more easily. Moreover, clarifying the truth at the Chinese Embassy helps to reduce pressure on fellow practitioners in China.
Ms. Ye is often protected by Irish police outside of the Chinese Embassy. They quietly watch her until she leaves.
Ms. Ye also helps people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and learn the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. She often uses the short moment of settling accounts during her job as a cashier to clarify the facts and advise Chinese people about the three withdrawals. Some people said they wanted to quit all evil party organizations on the spot.
Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, Israel, Poland and other countries also shared how to cooperate with each other, how to form one body, how to overcome one's attachments, and put down individual likes and dislikes to do the Fa-validation work well.
