Today's report relates Falun Gong persecution incidents that involve 20 cities or counties in 11 provinces. Three practitioners were subjected to maltreatment during detention, and 43 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Police arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Yuping from the Xuanwu District in Beijing and put her into the district's detention center. Ms. Liu was sentenced to three years of forced labor in May 2007.
4. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Huang Huichan Arrested
Personnel from the Puning City 610 Office, from the police department and from the National Security Division arrested 50-year-old practitioner Ms. Huang Huichan at her home on the afternoon of September 6, 2007. They ransacked her home the next day. Ms. Huang's whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Dong Yunfang Arrested
Personnel from the Sheling Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Yunfang from Sheling Town in Changchun City, Jilin Province and ransacked her home on August 31, 2007. They confiscated some Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. Ms. Dong is presently being held at the Shuangyang District's Lingxia Detention Center.

7. [Qingbaijiang City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Ms. Wei Denghui and Mr. Zhang Hong Sent to the Xindu Detention Center in August 2007
8. [Shandong Province] Four Practitioners from the Shengli Oil Field Arrested
Four practitioners from the Shengli Oil Field including Ms. Zong Shanfang and her husband Mr. Cui Baogeng were arrested in September 2007. Ms. Zong was put into the Jishu Brainwashing Center and Mr. Cui Baogeng was put into the Shengcai Brainwashing Center.
9. [Shandong Province] Practitioner Hou Junying Died as a Result of Eight Years of Persecution
Practitioner Ms. Hou Junying, 64 years old, lived at the Huarui Community affiliated with the Shengli Oil Field No. 8 Factory in Shandong Province. Ms. Hou went to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000 three times. Later on in 2000, the persecutors held her at the Shengli Oil Field's detention center for a month and then sentenced to three years of forced labor. She was released in 2003, but was then held at the oil field-affiliated Jishu Brainwashing Center for three months in 2004. Police later often harassed her. She eventually died on May 13, 2007.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Fan Xiuying from the Yulin District Sent to the City's Detention Center in August 2007
12. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced
On August 17, 2007, Liangyuan District Court agents in Shangqiu City, Henan Province sentenced four practitioners who had been arrested two years ago. The four practitioners are Mr. Zhang Jun, Mr. Li Xinrong, Mr. Feng Guangrong and Mr. Tao Weijun. The first two were sentenced to nine years in prison and the latter two to eight years. Police also confiscated 37,648 yuan, an Autuo brand car, a Baolai brand car, two laptop computers, a desktop computer, a laser printer, a color copier, a printer-copier combination and two CD burners on August 30, 2007.
13. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Han Meicheng Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Han Meicheng was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. She was put into the Zibo City's Wangcun Forced Labor Camp the morning of September 11, 2007.
14. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Six Practitioners Arrested
About a dozen policemen from the Xi'an City National Security Division and from the local police station damaged two Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials production centers. They also arrested six practitioners including Mr. Xie Xinhao and Ms. Chai Xiufang. It happened on September 1, 2007. They confiscated 3,000 yuan, a laptop computer, a desktop computer, four printers, a CD burner, some Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. The practitioners have been put into the city's No.1 Detention Center.
15. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Zhu Yamei and Liu Hui Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Zhu Yamei and Ms. Liu Hui from the Qixingpao Farm in Heilongjiang Province were arrested on September 6, 2007 for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. The police ransacked their homes that night. The two practitioners are presently being held at the No. 93 Administration Bureau Detention Center.

17. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Sun Jianhua Arrested
Personnel from the Kuiwen Police Department and from the Weizhou Street Police Station in Weifang City, Shandong Province arrested practitioner Mr. Sun Jianhua at his home at noon on September 10, 2007. They confiscated Mr. Sun's computer.
18. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Qin Yongjie Arrested
Police arrested practitioner Mr. Qin Yongjie at his office at Weifang University and ransacked his home the morning of September 10, 2007.
19. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Fengzhen Arrested
Personnel from the Lixia District's Quancheng Street Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Fengzhen on July 22, 2007. They eventually released her after extorting 30,000 yuan from Ms. Wang's family .
20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Dong Zaixiu Arrested
Personnel from the Weifang City "610 Office" arrested practitioner Mr. Dong Zaixiu the morning of September 5, 2007. They confiscated his two cellular phones and some Dafa books. Mr. Dong is presently being held at the Changyi Detention Center.
21. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Police Arrested Six Practitioners Including Ms. Sun Shufen the Morning of September 10, 2007
22. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Tian Zhongfeng Arrested
Police arrested practitioner Ms. Tian Zhongfeng from Hefei City and ransacked her home on September 4, 2007.
23. [Changji City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Practitioner Cao Mingrui Arrested
Changji City police arrested 54-year-old practitioner Mr. Cao Mingrui and confiscated his computer on September 4, 2007.
Mr. Cao had been sentenced to three years of forced labor in December 2000 and suffered from many kinds of tortures in the Wulabo Forced Labor Camp in Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
24. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Police arrested Mr. Deng Liangqun and his wife and Mr. Huang Zhengquan who are employees of the Ziyang City's Haiwushui Factory and put them into the city's detention center the morning of August 17, 2007.
Police arrested 70-year-old practitioner Ms. Liu Shufen and ransacked her home at 11:00 a.m. on August 18, 2007. Ms. Liu is presently being held at the Jianyang County Detention Center in Ziyang City.
25. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner Chen Mujun Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Policemen from the Xingyang City National Security Division arrested practitioner Mr. Chen Mujun and put him into the Guangwu's Sunzhai Detention Center on August 16, 2007. Mr. Chen was put into the Baimiao Forced Labor for a year's term on August 25, 2007.
26. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yin Guixiang Sent to the Linglong Brainwashing Center
Personnel from the Biguo Town "610 Office" arrested practitioner Ms. Yin Guixiang, in her 60s, from Daquzhuang Village, Biguo Town, Zhaoyuan City and put her into the Linglong Brainwashing Center on September 2, 2007.
27. [Shayang City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Mr. Qi Qingsong, Mr. Cai Zidong, Mr. Yao Yongfan, Mr. Wang Yuchao and Mr. Zuo Ligong Held at the Hubei Province's Fanjiatai Prison
28. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Nine Practitioners from the Zhongyuan Oil Field Arrested
Nine practitioners were arrested and their homes were ransacked between August 31 and September 6, 2007.
Mr. Zhan Yonghai, 62 years old, is a retired worker from the Cejing Division in the Zhongyuan Oil Field. Police arrested him and ransacked his home at 5:00 p.m. on August 31, 2007. He is presently being held at the Huangpu Administration Detention Center.
Mr. Zhang Baoyu, 73 years old, is a retired teacher from the oil field's Party School. Police arrested him and ransacked his home on September 2, 2007. He was later released because of his 220mmHg blood pressure.
Ms. Wang Ronghua, 55 years old, is a spouse of an employee of the No.1 Artesian Well Company in the oil field. Police arrested her and ransacked her home on September 3, 2007. She is presently being held at the Huangpu Administration Detention Center.
The following persons are all employees of the oil field Cejing Division:
Mr. Yan Lunjun, 70 years old. Police arrested him and ransacked his home at 10:30 p.m. on September 3, 2007. They interrogated him at the Sanhe Hotel for a whole night. He has been released.
Mr. Wang Mouzheng, 60 years old. Police arrested him and ransacked his home at 10:30 p.m. on September 3, 2007. He has been released because of suffering from a certain illness.
Mr. Li Weiping, 73 years old. Police arrested him and ransacked his home. He has been bailed out.
Ms. Xin, 40 years old, Mr. Li Weiping's nurse-maid, is presently being held at the No.2 Company's Detention Center.
Ms. Chen Aiyu, 70 years old, is the spouse of an employee of the oil field's Cejing Division. Police arrested her and ransacked her home. She is presently being held at the Huangpu Administration Detention Center. Her non-practitioner husband Mr. Fu Guoxi was held for a night.
Mr. Li Jiangxiu, 40 years old. Police arrested him and ransacked his home on September 6, 2007. They confiscated all of his Dafa materials and a new computer. Mr. Li is presently being held at the Huangpu Administration Detention Center.
