Four policemen illegally arrested Ms. He Zhiwen in 2004. 610 Office agents then sentenced her to forced labor and detained her in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City for two years. While in the camp she developed leukemia. Ms. He died on December 29, 2006. Following are the details.

Ms. He Wenzhi, 52, lived in Chulan Village, the Laishan District, Yantai City. She began Falun Gong practice in the spring of 1999. After July 20, 1999, Ms. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong three times. As a result, she was incarcerated in the local police station, a detention center, the Huanghai Administration Office, and village security office. In the spring of 2004, when she went home to take care of the two elderly people, four policemen arrested her again. Laishan District 610 Office head Zhang Shaorong and Gai Hao sentenced her to two years of forced labor.

Wangcun Forced Labor Camp guards in Zibo City brainwashed Ms. He Wenzhi and subjected her to sleep deprivation. Each practitioner was monitored by criminal inmates. These inmates followed the practitioners while they slept, ate, and used the toilet. Ms. He endured physical deprivations and mental torment and eventually developed leukemia. She had no strength and her face was pale.

She returned home in the spring of 2006. She died on December 29, 2006, after having endured the illness-induced pain for six months.

Practitioner Mr. Ma Wenhe from Baoding City, Hebei Province, died as a result of persecution

Mr. Ma Wenhe lived in Chengdong Village, Mancheng Township, Mancheng County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. He was an employee of the Mancheng County Second Agricultural Machine Factory. Mr. Ma started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. He disciplined himself according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." He had previously developed cancer and was at death's door. He became healthy after practicing Falun Gong. Village leaders started focusing persecution efforts on him on September 19, 2003. He eventually died from the persecution.

In early 1995, Mr. Ma Wenhe felt uncomfortable and went to several hospitals for examinations. Doctors at three different hospitals diagnosed him with cancer of the esophagus. Doctors at the Shijiazhuang No.4 Hospital treated him with radiation therapy for nearly two months. After leaving the hospital he was extremely emaciated and in fragile health. He always felt uncomfortable and continued his medication. As soon as the weather became cooler, he would catch a cold and needed intravenous treatment.

Mr. Ma started practicing Falun Gong in 1996 and disciplined himself according to the requirements of Dafa and was a good person according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." He became stronger and stronger, and his face had a rosy complexion. From then on he never went to hospitals or clinics.

His feeling of good fortune at practicing Falun Gong was soon dampened, because the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began to cruelly persecute Falun Gong. After that, his entire family's peaceful life was disturbed. At that time, nearly all the village leaders participated in persecuting Mr. Ma Wenhe. Village leaders Wang Fuyin, Hao Hui, Wang Qiu, and Kang Zengbao were involved. Li Zhenhai and factory head Lao Kong (now deceased) at his workplace also participated in this persecution. Relevant individuals in Mancheng Township and the above-mentioned individuals incessantly went his home to harass him. In the evening, the village leaders stayed near the outer wall of the residential compound and sometimes shouted toward his home, which kept his entire family from being able to fall asleep all night. In the morning, personnel from his workplace guarded him in his yard, and in the afternoon the village leaders and the police station officials went to his home to watch him. They guarded him 24 hours per day and refused to let him go out. Mr. Ma persisted in his belief but eventually decided to leave his home and became destitute many times.

On the evening of December 22, 2001, the police officials in the village and several self-appointed police station agents arrested Mr. Ma at his home. Despite lack of legal evidence, they held him in the county detention center for 15 days. He was released after they extorted 300 yuan in "living fees" from him. At that time, detention center head Duan threatened him, "Do you have money? If not, you have to continue to stay here." While Mr. Ma was incarcerated, they threatened him, "If you continue to practice Falun Gong, we will take you to prison."

After his release from the center, CCP officials incessantly harassed him, traumatizing him. Mr. Ma developed a relapse of his illness and died on September 19, 2003.
