1. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Meihua Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Meng Meihua is an employee of Jiankang Hotel in Qingzhou City. At the beginning of August 2007, she was arrested by agents of the Qingzhou City 610 Office and police officers. She is now detained in the Qingzhou City Detention Center.
2. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiao Baoying Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Xiao Baoying lives in Dachang County, Langfang City. On April 9, 2007, she was arrested and detained in the Sanhe City Detention Center. She was taken away on April 18, 2007, but no one knows her whereabouts.

5. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] The Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Feng Jiaxiu and Her Mother
Practitioners Ms. Feng Jiaxiu and her mother Ms. Gong Mao'e live in Nanjishan Village, Tanfu Town, Mengyin County. They became very healthy since beginning to practice Falun Gong in 1997.
On July 20, 1999, Tanfu Town officials went to their home, extorted 100 yuan from them, and tried to force them to give up practicing Falun Gong.
On December 21, 2000, Ms. Feng and her mother went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong, and they were arrested by plain-clothes agents, locked in an underground prison cell, and then later detained in the Huairou County Detention Center in Beijing. The mother, Ms. Gong Mao'e, was detained in the Yanqing County Detention Center. She shared a small cell with an electric ceiling fan blowing frigid air with seven other people and slept on a metal board. At around 9 a.m. on December 22, 2000, Ms. Feng was tortured by being forced to sit on a mound of snow without a warm jacket. All the practitioners were beaten until they could not get up if they practiced the Falun Gong exercises.
During this time period, Ms. Feng had 11,560 yuan in cash extorted from her, and her mother Ms. Gong Mao'e had 11,310 yuan in cash extorted from her.

According to an inside source, on August 9, 2007, the Chuanying District Court in Jilin City planned to hold a "Collegiate Bench Meeting" for practitioners Mr. Zhao Guoxing, Mr. Zhao Yingjie, Mr. Liu Yuhe, Ms. Mu Chunhong and Ms. Wang Liqiu.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Fengfen lives in Yuhuang Village, Yuanbaoshan Town, Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng City. She was arrested between August 5-7, 2007 in Chifeng City, and she is now detained in the Pingzhuang Detention Center.
9. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Bai Shulin Tortured in Suihua City Forced Labor Camp
On August 10, 2007, practitioner Mr. Bai Shulin's family was notified by Suihua City Forced Labor Camp that Mr. Bai Shulin was dying in the camp, and the family should come quickly.
10. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] 610 Office Extorts Money from Practitioners' Families
On June 23, 2007, nearly twenty Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested in Macheng City. Sixteen among them were forcibly taken to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center, located in Wuchang District, and have been taken back to Macheng City. They are detained separately in the Macheng City First and Second Detention Centers.
The Macheng City 610 Office failed to brainwash them, but they still extorted money. There have been four practitioners released after their families were extorted 2,000 to 3,000 yuan in cash.

On the morning of August 6, 2007, practitioners Ms. Luo Xianying, Ms. Xu Yuqing, and Ms. Jiang Zhaoxiu were arrested by police from the Dawan Station in Qinbaijiang District, Chengdu City. They are detained in the Qingbaijiang District Detention Center.
13. [Baotou City, Inner-Mongolia Autonomous Region] More Than Twenty Practitioners Arrested by Kun District Police
On the evening of August 3, 2007, police from the Fourth and Eighth Stations in Kun District suddenly stormed into the home of Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Ying Ying (25 years old) and Ms. Zhang's (first name unknown, in her 60's) home and forcibly took them to the Guchengwan Prison, located in Hedong District, Baotou City. More than twenty practitioners were detained there.

Practitioner Ms. Song Aichang is a senior engineer employed by Shijiazhuang Thirteen Research Institute. At noon on June 22, 2007, police from the Qiaoxi District Department and the Science Zone Station forcibly took her into custody. They formally arrested her with a warrant based on unreasonable charges on July 24, 2007.

Recently, local police in Shuangcheng City checked practitioners' IDs, recorded their brief personal histories and whether they still practiced, requested personal photos, and took away photos of Master Li from their homes.
17. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhong Zhaofen Tortured in Linglong Brainwashing Center
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhong Zhaofen lives in Zhangxing Town, Zhaoyuan City. On August 3, 2007, she was arrested by agents from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office. Her Falun Dafa books were confiscated, and she is now forcibly detained in the Linglong Brainwashing Center. Her family went to visit her, but they were not permitted to see her.
Another practitioner, Ms. Wang Guimei, returned home.
18. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners Detained in Dongshan Detention Center
Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Chen (first name unknown, in his 50's) and another practitioner in his or her 30's (gender unknown, name unknown), both from Changchun City, were recently arrested. They are both detained in the Dongshan Detention Center in Siping City.
19. [Hepu County, Guangxi Zhuan Autonomous Region] Persecution Cases in Hepu County
Practitioner Ms. Huang Fang is a teacher employed by Nankang Middle School. She was arrested in June 2007 and detained for 15 days in the Hepu County Detention Center. She was dismissed from her government employee position.
Practitioner Ms. Feng Sanmei, from Lianzhou Town, was forcibly taken to the Beihai City Second Detention Center and detained for 15 days. She had more then ten thousand yuan extorted from her.
Practitioner Ms. Chen Weihua, from Lianzhou Town, was forcibly taken into custody at the Hepu County Detention Center in the beginning of June 2007 and locked in solitary confinement.
20. [Fengtai District, Beijing] Police Force Ms. Wang Shuqin to Undergo Brainwashing in Guangfeng Hotel
Practitioner Ms. Wang Shuqin lives in Dawayao Village, Fentai District. The village officials Wang Hong (86-13370183596, Cell) and Wang Jingping (86-10-83291682) forcibly took her to the Guangfeng Hotel to undergo brainwashing.
21. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Hua Shijie Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Practitioner Mr. Hua Shijie was arrested in December 2006 at his home. He has been secretly detained and tortured for nearly 6 months. He was put on a secret trial in May 2007 and sentenced to three years in prison. The specific location of his detention is unknown.

Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Sun Huanyun and Ms. Zhang Yanfen are both from Chengguan District, Wu'an City. They were both arrested and taken to the Chengguan Police Station on the evening of August 9, 2007. They have been detained in Wu'an City Detention Center since the morning of August 10, 2007.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yanqing was detained in the thirteenth ward of the Hebei Province First Prison, located in Baoding City. She was recently transferred to the fourth ward, where there are 6-7 prisoners closely watching and mistreating her. Ms. Zhang has been on a hunger strike since August 2, 2007 to protest her mistreatment and persecution.

On August 2, 2007, practitioners Ms. Hu Hanjiao and two others were arrested by Hanchuan City State Security agents, including Liu Jixiang. They were all detained in the Hanchuan City Second Detention Center. The other two practitioners were released on August 10, 2007, but Ms. Hu Hanjiao is still detained.

25. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] In August 2007, Practitioner Ms. Li Ruzhen Arrested by Police from Xinhong Street Station and Detained in Xinjin Brainwashing Center
26. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xia Liqun Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner Ms. Xia Liqun, 35, is from Chaoyang District, Changchun City. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor in 2001 by police from Guangzhou City, where she was living temporarily. In 2005, she was arrested again by State Security agents from Zhanjiang City and Leizhou City (both in Guangdong Province). She was detained in the Zhanjiang City Second Detention Center, where she was brutally force-fed during her hunger strike. Later, the Leizhou City Court sentenced her to seven years in prison. She is now being mistreated in the Guangdong Province Women's Prison. Another practitioner, Ms. Geng Zhangyan, was sentenced with Ms. Xia to three years in prison, and she is now detained in the Guangdong Province Women's Prison with Ms. Xia Liqun.
27. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Doctor Jiang Missing for More Than Two Months
Doctor Jiang (in her 70s, widowed) is employed by the Jilin City Traditional and Western Medicine Hospital. She lives by herself. Her daughter (also a practitioner) was arrested two months ago. Doctor Jiang went to the Third Detention Center to send forth righteous thoughts, but she never returned home after the second time she went, which was more than two months ago.
28. [Luyi County, Henan Province] Three Practitioners Still Detained
Police from Luyi County arrested eleven Falun Dafa practitioners at the Yutai Group Practice Site on the afternoon of August 3, 2007. Among them is the young child of a practitioner. On August 4, 2007, three practitioners (a family) were also arrested in Luyi County. Eleven practitioners were released after each having one thousand yuan extorted from them. Ms. Yue Xinzhi and two other practitioners are still detained.
