(Clearwisdom.net) The Central News Agency reported on August 11, 2007, that Falun Gong practitioners held a grand march in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to protest the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution and to support the twenty-five million Chinese people who have quit the CCP. The activity was hosted by Director Ai Chang-jui of the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP. There were reenactments exposing the CCP's atrocities and performances by the New Tang Flag and Drum Team. Several hundred people marched in the rain to condemn the CCP's crime of persecuting human rights.

The march participants gathered at 2 p.m. They held various flags and banners proclaiming: "Boycott the CCP's Hosting of the Olympic Games," "Olympic Games, Live Organ Harvesting," etc.

Director Chang Chi-ming of the Democratic Progressive Party Kaohsiung Branch, along with Legislative Committee members Kuan Pi-ling and Luo Chih-ming, and chairman Cheng Cheng-yu of the Southern Taiwan Society were invited to participate in the march.

Mr. Ai said that the CCP suppresses Taiwan at every opportunity. Taiwan is threatened with missiles and the next generation lives in terror. He criticized the CCP for driving away countries that would have diplomatic relations with Taiwan by intimidation and interest seduction, preventing Taiwan from joining the World Health Organization, ignoring the lives of twenty-three million Taiwanese people, and trampling on Taiwan's human rights and dignity. He called on those who support human rights to offer assistance to those who quit the CCP and help them to regain their freedom.Practitioners reenacted scenes to expose the CCP's atrocities and condemn the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, its suppression of media freedom, and its live organ harvesting. Practitioners hope that the whole world will learn about the CCP's atrocities and support the twenty-five million Chinese people who have already quit the CCP.
