(Clearwisdom.net) In mid-April 2007, American citizen Charles Cai visited his mother who was critically ill and hospitalized for emergency treatment at his hometown in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. During his visit, he was harassed and kidnapped by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) security agents. Later he safely returned to the US.

Mr. Cai is a Falun Gong practitioner and a volunteer for New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV) Station. He said that CCP agents interrogated him about NTDTV, including the International Chinese Dance Competition and its sponsors. He pointed out that since NTDTV was established, CCP agents interfered with and attempted to damage the station through all means. The kidnapping was also likely because he is a volunteer for the TV station.

CCP Agents Interrogate Mr. Cai about NTDTV

On the seventh night after Mr. Cai returned to China, he accompanied a guest to the bus station. On his way home, suddenly six CCP agents surrounded him on the sidewalk. A black Chevrolet immediately appeared and stopped near the sidewalk. He recognized that it was the car that had been following him every day. An agent with a Hunan dialect threatened him, saying, "Our boss wants to ask you some questions. If you don't cooperate, you might have difficulty leaving the country." The agents forced Mr. Cai into the back seat of the car and sat next to him. The car was then driven away.

Mr. Cai said to the agents, "Speak out if you have anything to say. Don't waste my time." An agent who appeared to be in charge said, "Let's talk in a hotel room."

Mr. Cai pointed out that they did not dare to speak on the way because they knew their deeds were not open. After entering a room in a hotel, an agent in his fifties interrogated him.

Mr. Cai recalled that the agent initially asked questions about his family, life, work, health, and business. After asking these questions, the agents turned to their main topic and asked about Falun Gong, "Where do you practice?" "Who else practices there?" "Does Master Li go to the practice site?" "Where can you see your Master?"

Mr. Cai said that the agents especially paid attention to NTDTV and the topic changed to this. They asked, "What departments does NTDTV have? Who are the leaders of those departments? Who is the real head of NTDTV? What is the relationship between NTDTV of Taiwan and NTDTV of America?" They also asked about the dance competition, such as: Why did NTDTV want to have a dance competition? They asked again and again about the sponsors of the competition. They even asked about NTDTV's development plan and issues about intercepting TV signals in China.

"During the whole process, I emphasized that I only helped NTDTV customers to set up satellites during my after work hours and I did not know internal issues. I urged them to finish, saying that my mother was still ill. The agent was reluctant to let me go home."

Mr. Cai said that before this incident, the CCP agents had attempted to kidnap and harass him.

CCP Agents Failed to Kidnap Him on Their First Attempt

Mr. Cai recalled that after returning home, he took care of his mother at the hospital every day. He noticed that he was followed by a black Chevrolet every day. He said, "Later when I was kidnapped, the CCP agents came by that car."

On the fifth day after he returned to his hometown, a white car stopped beside him while he was walking on the street. Several agents came out of the car and a man in his thirties stopped him and said while holding onto his hand, "Mr. Cai, we are from National Security Bureau. We'd like to talk to you about some issues. This is just routine business." At the same time, one male and one female agent surrounded him.

Mr. Cai said, "No. I don't have time. My mother, who is in her eighties, is critically ill and could pass away anytime. I have to take care of her. I am very busy." He showed the hospital's notice to them. They could not do anything, but said, "Let's meet on another day."

Mr. Cai Was Harassed at Home

On the next day, Mr. Cai took his mother home as there was some improvement in her illness. Her relatives and friends came to visit after hearing of the improvement. Two uninvited guests also came. Mr. Cai said that they were the two agents that had attempted to kidnap him the day before.

The two agents brought imported milk powder and fruit. They claimed that they were from the provincial Overseas Residents Association and were there to see his mother. He knew that they came without good intentions.

Then he asked the guests to leave, saying that his mother needed to rest. The two agents also left. When they were leaving, they said to Mr. Cai in low voice, "Prof. Cai, Specialist Cai, we don't want to disturb your mother, but have come under the name of the Overseas Residents Association. Our supervisor wants to make friends with you and would like to invite you to dinner."

Mr. Cai said, "I work for a company in US. I am neither a professor nor a specialist. I came back to visit my mother. After her illness is stable, I will return soon. I don't have time for social activities." The agents saw that there was no room for discussion and left reluctantly.

After Safely Returning to the US, Mr. Cai Urges CCP Agents to Stop Working for the CCP

To avoid CCP agents' harassment, Mr. Cai left the next day and returned to US though his mother had not fully recovered.

Mr. Cai pointed out that some of the agents who kidnapped him had read the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party" and could not deny the facts. Actually, they should know the fact that CCP is unpopular. Mr. Cai hopes that CCP agents will value their own lives and stop doing wrong deeds for the CCP.
