(Clearwisdom.net) In my hometown, there is a neighborhood where a dozen Falun Dafa practitioners live. They cooperated very well in Fa validation and in saving sentient beings. Before the persecution, they had a regular group Fa study, group exercises, and they used Dafa's high standards to measure themselves. Their behavior showed people in that area that Falun Dafa was good. They did very well in spreading the Fa and told neighbors, friends and relatives, everyone with a predestined relationship, about the wonders of Dafa. So after the persecution started in 1999, these practitioners were not persecuted. Instead, people in this area opposed the persecution. The following are two true stories:
(1) One morning after the persecution started, several officials from the county office came and asked the head and the CCP secretary of the village to gather all the Falun Dafa practitioners at the town office and put them in a brainwashing session. The CCP secretary of the village said right away, "Falun Gong teaches people to be good. If my daughter-in-law didn't practice Falun Gong she probably wouldn't talk to me for the rest of her life. In the past we had several big fights over some family affairs. Relatives and friends all came to calm us down but the problem didn't go away. We had to live in separate houses and we saw each other as worst enemies. But within one month of starting Falun Gong practice, my daughter-in-law came to my house to visit us with a gift and apologized for her past behavior. She said 'I was wrong. Falun Gong taught me to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant. We should always consider other people first. I fought with you over family property before, and now I'm ashamed of myself. I will follow Falun Gong's truthfulness, compassion and tolerance from now on and be a better and better person.' Since then, our family lives together in peace and harmony."
Then the head of the village continued, "What is bad about Falun Gong? Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. When we were dividing up land in the village, no one wanted those pieces of land on the outside edge. When they were assigned to Falun Gong practitioners, none of them complained and they all agreed to take them. And they did very well with the poor land. Every month when I collect the electricity and water fees, other people always argue about the price and try to pay less. But when I go to Falun Gong practitioners' homes, they just pay. Why do you think Falun Gong is not good? Do not listen to those lies on TV."
A Falun Gong practitioner told the county officials, "Do not help the tyrant do evil and persecute Falun Gong. Our Teacher teaches us truthfulness, compassion, tolerance, and to be good people. I hope you read Zhuan Falun when you have a chance. Then you will know what Falun Gong is. And it will benefit you."
So the county officials smiled and said, "We came here because of orders from above. We can't help. We will leave now." And they left.
(2) The practitioners in the area all did the three things well. In late 2002, they heard that city officials would organize brainwashing sessions. They notified practitioners and sent righteous thoughts. They used the power Teacher gave to them to clean up the evil in other dimensions and save more sentient beings.
As for the Fa study groups, some of them never stopped. Some got interrupted but all resumed after 2003. The practitioners acted as one body. Some practitioners did not come out at the beginning but they caught up in the environment of group Fa study. Local people who did not practice Falun Gong but knew the truth were rewarded from the Fa.
During June and July 2002, higher officials from the county came to town and said their superiors had given them two slots to fill and they needed to catch two Falun Gong practitioners and send them to the county. One of them is in your village and her name is Auntie Fu. They came several times but they did not succeed. The fourth time they came, they brought more than 30 police and drove to Auntie Fu's front gate. The gate was locked. They went over the wall and unlocked the gate, and they rushed in like a gang of bandits. They held Auntie Fu and tried to carry her to a car. At this time Auntie Fu shouted, "Help! Bad people are abducting good people! Please help! Falun Dafa is good!" Sister Ling, who lives the next door, heard the shouts and rushed to the scene first. Then many neighbors came out. They started to drag Auntie Fu from the hands of the police. A Falun Dafa practitioner who lives in the back started to send righteous thoughts and asked Teacher to help and clean out all the evil elements which persecute Falun Dafa practitioners.
When Sister Ling and other neighbors were trying to get Auntie Fu back, they said to the police, "What are you doing? You don't go out to catch thieves and other real bad people but you come here to arrest a good person. Where is your conscience? Auntie Fu practices Falun Gong to be a good person, how can you really arrest a good person? Can you face us afterwards? Do some good deeds and don't do such bad things!" Other Falun Dafa practitioners nearby also came and told the police, "Don't help the tyrant do evil. Do something good for your future and that of your families. Do not persecute Falun Gong. Do not persecute good people."
Auntie Fu escaped from the police and Sister Ling took Auntie Fu to her home. The police were considering going inside Sister Ling's home when she shouted at them, "How dare you to come into my home! You are trying to arrest a good person, which is a crime, don't you know?
The police did not dare do more so they left quietly under everyone's watchful glare.
