(Clearwisdom.net) On July 7-8, 2007, the Danish branch of the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Danish China Human Rights Internet Organization held a joint rally and parade at Kings New Square in the Danish capital of Copenhagen. The event was in support of the over twenty-three million brave Chinese people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

Besides people from Denmark and its neighboring countries, over one hundred members of the European Divine Land Marching Band, whose members come from different European countries, also came to Copenhagen to attend the rally.

At the rally, a European member of the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) Leif Bork Hansen, a representative from the Swedish Supporting Human Rights in China group Vasilios Zoupounidis, a representative from the Norwegian China Human Rights Internet organization Peder Giertsen, a representative from the International Human Rights Society (ISHR) Man Yan, and Sunny, a Chinese student who currently studies in Finland and whose parents have been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist regime, gave speeches.

We are Witnessing the Chinese Communist Party's Demise

Vasilios Zoupounidis, the representative from the Swedish Supporting Human Rights in China group, said, "We are witnessing history. In a short space of less than three years, a great wave of quitting the Chinese Communist Party has occurred in China, with the daily number of withdrawals now reaching thirty five thousand. This makes us believe that the demise of the Chinese Communist Party is very close."

He said, "The Swedish Supporting Human Rights in China [group] strives to bring basic human rights to the Chinese people. This can only be realized after the collapse of the Chinese Communist Party. Now the Chinese people have chosen a bright future for themselves and for us. The series, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party by The Epoch Times newspaper, thoroughly exposed the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party. There are many dark stories about the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party, but the darkest event can only be the illegal, large-scale and systematic organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. This crime against humanity is widely occurring in China and the Chinese Communist Party is responsible for it."

The Pre-condition for the Beijing Olympics is That the Persecution of Falun Gong Must End

Priest Leif Bork Hansen, European member of the CIPFG and chairman of the Refugee Assistance Association, said, "Each time we openly discuss human rights problems in China, we have to mention the hidden labor camps and concentration camps where Falun Gong practitioners are detained and their organs are harvested while they are alive. We eliminated these kinds of things over a hundred years ago, but they have now re-appeared in another place. This is the same as the persecution of Jews in the Nazi concentration camps, or Stalin's concentration camps prepared for dissidents. The magical collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989 exposed Stalin's concentration camps to the world. Now a person has stood up in China. His actions and words are awakening the conscience of the world. He is the Chinese lawyer Gao Zhisheng. He too has lost his freedom."

Leif Bork Hansen said, "If the Olympics torch is to be truly ignited in Beijing, there must be a pre-condition: the Chinese Communist regime must release all detained Falun Gong practitioners and stop the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners for sale."

Appeal to Rescue the Illegally Arrested Parents

Nineteen-year-old Sunny is a Chinese student currently studying in Finland. Her stepfather, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Weijie, was illegally arrested by the 610 Office in Wuhan on March 21, 2007. Her mother Ms. Chen Man searched through three towns for fifty days and finally found Zhang Weijie, who had been subjected to mental and physical abuse. Soon after they arrested Chen Man on June 8. Sunny said, "My relatives in China have still not seen my abducted mother as of now. But the 610 Office admitted that they arrested my mother, though they refused to give any reason for the arrest. They also refused visitation by the family. My elderly and sick grandmother not only lost my mother's care, but also has to search for my mother everywhere. I am far away from Wuhan and cannot provide direct help to rescue my parents and look after and comfort my grandmother. I sincerely appeal here to various governments and people for help to end this persecution, and rescue my parents and thousands of Falun Gong practitioners who are being illegally persecuted."

Yang Man from the International Human Rights Society made the last speech. He said, "The Danish people have a great tradition of respecting human rights. Denmark is also a country where freedom of speech, freedom of belief, freedom of assembly and association are well protected. When people have all these, they are relatively content. However if they lost all these things, then the people would feel miserable and suffer. This is what is happening in China."

Mr. Yang said, "The organization I work for, the International Human Rights Society, has over thirty five thousand members around the world. Since its establishment in 1972, it has fought for human rights in the Soviet Union, East Germany, Romania and other countries. It has much experience dealing with human rights abuses under the Communist system. What happens in China is the worst situation. For fifty years the Chinese Communist Party falsely promised people that through revolution, it would bring people a great life. It told people that rich people are evil and capitalism needed to be abolished. It deceived many poor people and gained political power. After obtaining economic and political power, they said they needed to carry out economic reform. Now they have become the new rich, and they practice the negative aspects of capitalism. Now the national resources and wealth in China have all gone into their pockets."

"Now in order to avoid condemnation by the world, they have brought all the persecution to the underground. They let people believe that China's economy is booming. Tourists from Denmark have gone to China and seen all the finer things. But what tourists from Denmark and other countries in the world cannot see is hidden in the prisons, forced labor camps and concentration camps. Many innocent people are being persecuted there. The most horrific thing is that they systematically harvest organs from living people and sell the organs from thousands of people detained in these places to the world for profits. You need to wait for five years for an organ in Denmark. But in China you can have a kidney which matches your blood type in a week."

After the rally, a large parade was held to support the wave of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party.
