Falun Gong practitioners told the Council Members about the forced deportations of Falun Gong practitioners under the instigation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Hundreds of Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners were denied entry to Hong Kong on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China. This became the largest deportation in Hong Kong history. The practitioners meant to take the opportunity of the anniversary to tell the people of Hong Kong about the persecution and organ harvesting atrocities in China. Fearing exposure of its crimes, the CCP provided a blacklist to the Hong Kong authorities to block the entry of Falun Gong practitioners.
