(Clearwisdom.net) At 12:30 a.m. on April 12, 2007, Public Security, National Security, the Criminal Police Brigade, and police stations of Benxi City arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Lu Qingjiang and his wife, Mr. Cheng Wei, and Ms. Wang Lijuan and her son.

In order to take care his mother who'd been bedridden due to illness for some time, practitioner Cheng Wei moved into her home. At midnight on April 12, the police used an ax to knock down the door of his mother's home in order to catch Mr. Cheng. He tried to escape by jumping from the fifth floor of the apartment building, resulting in severe injury. Mr. Cheng is currently hospitalized under police surveillance at the Benxi Steel Company's General Hospital.

Worker's Local Police, the Criminal Police Brigade of Pingshan, and National Security officers went to practitioner Lu Qingjiang's home and illegally arrested him and his wife. Police and National Security officers also stole cash and a bank deposit book, as well as computers and other items. Mr. Lu and his wife are currently detained at the Benxi Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Lijuan used to be a teacher at the Business School of Benxi. Because she practices Falun Dafa, the school terminated her employment. Her husband Zhang Chenglin, who used to be a medical doctor at Benxi's Qiaotou Military Hospital, also lost his job due to practicing "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Ms. Wang's husband was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2001. He is still detained in Wafangdian Prison. Wang Lijuan must raise her son all by herself. She told her friends about the conditions her husband must face in prison. Unfortunately the police took the fragile lady and her son, an outstanding student, away at midnight on April 12.
