(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners recently decided to hold another Falun Gong information day in the Human Rights City of Graz. The last one was held quite some time ago. A number of practitioners came from remote cities to help with the information day on Saturday, June 9, 2007. The event was to let more people know about the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong by the Communist regime in China.
We distributed fliers and told people about our petition, so they could make a stand with their signature against the organ theft from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many didn't need to be asked twice, because they were so appalled by the inhumanity and profit-making greed of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
We also took the opportunity to exhibit some of the framed posters from the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" art exhibition. We explained to the passers-by the background of these art pieces.
Although there are not many Chinese tourists in Graz, we were surprised by the
many Chinese people we saw that Saturday. These were people who live and study
in Graz, and were out walking the streets that day.
Without any exception, the newspaper reporters gave us the thumbs up, told us that our actions were admirable and thanked us for our efforts. All the Chinese people who accepted our information that day gave us the impression that they really understood that Falun Gong is good.
One Chinese person came from a nearby Chinese restaurant and took pictures of each one of the posters. He also took pictures of the practitioners who were demonstrating the exercises. Before he left, we gave him a handmade paper lotus flower, which he accepted happily. Another Chinese person came and wanted a DVD of the exercises.
A pregnant lady came to our information table and said, "I know these exercises. A girlfriend from Portugal introduced them to me. I would very much like to try them later."Surprisingly, she didn't know a thing about the persecution. She was horrified and immediately signed our petition against the organ theft from living Falun Gong practitioners in China.
Many children and adults gladly accepted our handmade paper lotus flowers.
