(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Dafa in January 1999. My celestial eye was opened after I finished reading Zhuan Falun once. I saw a golden Buddha sitting with legs crossed and hands together in the heshi position. He was repeatedly purifying my body. At times I saw demons around me trying to interfere with me. Whether at home or at work, I often felt the falun rotating rhythmically inside and outside my body. Whenever I improved to a new level, Teacher would reveal the scenes of that level to me. After starting the practice, I often felt as happy as a child who has found his parents and is being held in his parents' arms. I often couldn't help shedding tears of happiness in my dreams or when I practiced the Falun Dafa exercises or read the Falun Dafa books.
I have had many magnificent experiences. I have also passed many tribulations and tests, which I knew were bound to occur along my path of improvement in cultivation.
Soon after I started practicing Falun Dafa, my new boss called me to a meeting. At that meeting, my new boss criticized me for not being able to submit a certain report on time. In fact, ever since becoming a practitioner, my workload had increased, but I knew I could do it and I could do it well since I'm a practitioner. However, due to the time limit, I wasn't able to finish that report by the same deadline as my coworkers. The reason was because my department had more categories and a heavier workload. My new boss didn't know this and asked me to finish the report by the same deadline, but I was too busy to do it. At the meeting, I wasn't able to guard my xinxing and therefore I had anger in my voice when I explained why I wasn't able to meet the deadline. After the meeting, I was transferred to another position. My new department was going through a merger and transformation at that time. In that position, not all the work could be done in the office. I had to run errands, and my boss often criticized me. Whenever that happened, I told myself again and again that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and that I needed to be "...working the body, tempering the will..." ("The Fourth Talk" from Zhuan Falun) When I improved my xinxing, I saw falun rotating around me when I was buried by my heavy workload.
After the merger, I heard that some positions would be eliminated, including mine. I got ready to be transferred to a position with the highest workload and worst working conditions. During the last days before the final decision, one coworker in a very important position was suddenly transferred and I got assigned to his position. I came to realize that Teacher used that opportunity to improve my xinxing and for me to pay back my karmic debt. Later, I calmly explained these facts to my new boss so that he understood me better.
I was transferred across departments. My old director insisted on giving me a bonus to buy gifts for my old department. They also held a party to bid me farewell. Considering the special occasion, I accepted the money. After the dinner, I left early since I don't drink or I didn't want to party any longer. I told the restaurant that I would pay them the next day. I took the bonus money home with me. That night a thief broke into my home and stole some money. The amount of money that I lost was about the same as what I received as gifts from my old department. Meanwhile, the money that I had brought home for paying the restaurant--almost one thousand yuan--was still on the table. I came to understand what Teacher said, "If something is yours, nobody will take it away, and if something isn't yours, you won't be able to get it even by fighting for it." ("The Seventh Talk" from Zhuan Falun)
When the persecution of Falun Dafa started, an assistant at the practice site brought some Falun Dafa books and Teacher's picture to my home. When he handed those things over to me, he said, "Very dangerous." He also made a gesture of beheading. I wasn't afraid at all. I accepted the books and Teacher's picture. Ever since the persecution started, I have been studying the Fa and spreading the truth. All my coworkers know I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. With Teacher's protection, I'm not in danger and do not have any problems.
One day I went to another company for a business conference. When we had lunch together, someone brought up the topic of Falun Gong. I then clarified the truth to them. When I practiced the meditation exercise at home that night, I saw Teacher sitting on a lotus flower, glowing with golden light. I came to realize that Teacher was encouraging me to continue with truth-clarification. When sending forth righteous thoughts, if I had been studying the Fa well, I could feel that the energy fields surrounding my hands and body were enormous. I could also see the energy that was sent forth rotating. Sometimes I would see white lotus flowers when sending forth righteous thoughts. One night I got lazy and didn't get up to send forth righteous thoughts. Teacher then let me see how my fellow practitioners have been suffering from the persecution. One day, a fellow practitioner posted truth-clarifying flyers in our apartment building. It was a windy day, and I later noticed that those flyers had blown away. I really hoped I could find them. With that thought, I found the flyers and posted them again.
Here I'd like to say "Thank you" to those fellow practitioners who make and distribute truth-clarification materials. It was they who brought Falun Dafa to two of my family members. Here is the story. One day, my family went to a park. When they came back, they saw a truth-clarification CD disc in their bicycle basket. They took it home and watched it. I told them they should also study Falun Dafa books. They embraced Falun Dafa. They also quit the Chinese Youth League, an affiliate of the Chinese Communist Party.
I'd also like to thank those fellow practitioners who have composed and sung Dafa songs. When I listen to the Dafa music or songs, I feel each level of myself listening. I have come to understand and feel many things when I listen. I truly appreciate those fellow practitioners who organized and performed in the Chinese New Year Galas and Spectacular during the past few years. When I saw those programs on DVDs, I was surrounded by Teacher's immense compassion. I could feel our benevolent Teacher using his heart and blood to save sentient beings. I was moved to tears, and tears ran down my cheeks throughout the programs. I want to say "Thank you" to the fellow practitioners who have written to the Clearwisdom website. I often enlighten to things as I read their articles, which helps me continue to strive forward. One day I was reading an article that talked about how a fellow practitioner went to Beijing to validate the Fa. When she was illegally detained, she saw that all the practitioners who had been arrested were reciting Teacher's Fa. I was deeply moved to tears since those practitioners are the protectors of the cosmos and they have been safeguarding the cosmos selflessly. It was so solemn and sacred. I came to better understand what Teacher said,
"You think that the things you do seem pretty simple and are unlike an everyday person's supervisory job, which one gets paid for. You are doing things entirely out of your enthusiasm and your understanding of Dafa. Those things appear to be quite simple and seem to have nothing earth shattering about them." ("Teaching the Fa at the Assistants' Fa Conference in Changchun")
I also came to know that the three things that Teacher asks us to do are creating the future of the cosmos. All that we have done is documented. Our responsibilities are huge, dignified, and solemn.
I have recently felt that time is passing by more and more quickly. The first half of this year is passing more quickly than the latter half of 2006. With time flying by, we should cherish this valuable opportunity more and strive forward more diligently.
