(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they too be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Zhao Yutang, Former Village Head of Yaoshang Village, Dongcheng Town, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province Receives Karmic Retribution
Zhao Yutang, former village head of Yaoshang Village, Dongcheng Town, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, has been following the orders of Jiang Zemin's regime to persecute Falun Dafa since July 1999. In 2001, he led policeman Yang Yugang and others from the Zhuozhou City National Security Team to illegally arrest two Falun Dafa practitioners from the village. The practitioners received 15 days of detention as well as 5,000 yuan fines. In 2003, Zhao Yutang gave valuables and money to induce villager Liu Hongwei to monitor Falun Dafa practitioners (for reporting one practitioner, one would get a 500-yuan reward and the forgiveness of 200 yuan debt). Liu Hongwei then developed mental aberrations. Now he is missing.
In December 2004, Zhao Yutang collaborated with Zhu Chunshui from the police station of Fang Town, Dongcheng City, Chai Yuqiao from the comprehensive maintenance office, the Township Political Judiciary Committee Secretary Song Xiaobin, and others to arrest six Falun Dafa practitioners from the village and take them to town government facilities, where they were beaten. Among the six, one was forced to leave home to avoid arrest, another was detained for 15 days, and others were detained for 2-3 days and fined 2,000-3,000 yuan. Guo Wang was tortured to death.
Since 2001, when Zhao Yutang started persecuting Falun Gong, he has suffered from heart disease. He still continued to assist in persecuting Falun Gong in 2004, when he was no longer the village head. He died suddenly on April 11, 2007, at age 49.
Director of the Society Security Office of Dongfang Village, Sanbao Township, Bin County, Heilongjiang Province Receives Retribution for Committing Evil Deeds
The director of the Society Security Office of Dongfang Village, Sanbao Township, Bin County, Heilongjiang Province followed Jiang Zemin's mandate to persecute Falun Gong. He damaged Falun Dafa truth-clarifying posters whenever he saw them and slandered Falun Dafa. Before the Chinese New Year, he followed Falun Dafa practitioners and received karmic retribution several days later. He had a cerebral hemorrhage and was hospitalized. He had to have brain surgery. After the surgery he was not recovering well and was transferred to Harbin City.
Those who persecute Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners will receive karmic retribution sooner or later. We hope that those who still insist on committing evil will take a look at the truth of Falun Dafa. Falun Dafa is compassionate, so there is still a chance to make up for one's mistakes. However, Falun Dafa is also sacred, and no one is allowed to conduct evil endlessly.
