Lawyer Astounded at Practitioner's Forbearance During Brutal Mistreatment
Our local State Security Bureau found a lawyer to help in their efforts to “reform” arrested Falun Dafa practitioners. They told him that a certain practitioner was “very stubborn.” The lawyer, led by a State Security agent, arrived at the place where the practitioner was being held. The agent verbally abused and frequently beat the practitioner and even threatened that they would do worse things to him if he did not “reform.” This went on for a long time, until the lawyer couldn't put up with the agent's despicable behavior. The lawyer noticed that the practitioner's facial expression remained benevolent the entire time, without a single hint of hatred in his eyes. The practitioner did nothing but tell them, again and again, to keep in their minds, “Falun Dafa is good. 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance' is good.”
The lawyer was completely shocked in his heart. He said, “In such a physically and mentally torturous environment it would be all but impossible to keep one's mind at peace, but he could still tell others, 'Falun Dafa is good!' There must be a divine power supporting him in doing all this.”
He found many Falun Dafa materials after he returned home. He shared this experience with his friends and everyone near him, and helped many others learn the truth about Dafa.

I have been working in a police station in the Weifang Area for around 10 years. I was previously unclear about Falun Dafa before, so I did some things to practitioners that I shouldn't have done while I was at work, and I said things I shouldn't have said. As time passed, I learned that all Falun Dafa practitioners are good people. I have read some Dafa books myself, and I also read through the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.” When other practitioners “clarified the truth” to me, I understood the teachings of Dafa and understood how I should treat practitioners. I want to extend my thanks to all practitioners for what they have done for me. I am also very grateful for the generosity and greatness of Dafa.
I feel very sad for the things I did and said. I hereby declare invalid all the disrespectful things I said about Dafa and Dafa practitioners. As to the bad things that I did, from now on I will make up for them with my actions and safeguard the truth of Dafa forever!
