(Clearwisdom.net) A few months ago, I was invited to a friend's home. She told me that someone had told her about Falun Gong's persecution over the phone. She listened for a very long time. She said to me, "How did these people make a telephone call to me? They are really amazing!" She highly praised the overseas practitioners' efforts and thought it was incredible. She added, "Falun Gong is good, and I say this although I am not yet a practitioner. I knew the self-immolation on the Tiananmen Square was staged by the government. You see, the guy was severely burned, but his hair was still intact and the plastic bottle looked fine and was not deformed. We all know that plastic will definitely be damaged in a fire." I said, "Yes, that was a staged incident that was full of holes." Finally, she said, "My memory is not very good. I cannot remember the five sets of exercises. But I do recite, Falun Dafa is good." She and her husband often recite, "Falun Dafa is good."
One morning, I was walking on the sidewalk and happened to see an older gentleman. He was tall and looked well. So I said to him, "Hello. Uncle!" He stopped, smiled to me and said, "Hello." I asked, "How old are you? " "83." He replied. I said, "Oh! 83 years old. But you look so much younger and full of energy. You must have good fortune." He smiled. I then continued, "Have your heard the facts about Falun Gong?" "I have." "Where did you hear it?" He replied, "Early this morning over the phone, from overseas."
I told him, "This is a predestined relationship. You just got an overseas phone call clarifying the truth of Falun Gong and then you met with me here." I encouraged him to recite "Falun Dafa is good" every day. In the end, I asked him whether he was a communist party member. He said that he did not affiliate with the communist party. He thanked me several times. I told him to thank Master Li. It is our Master who provides salvation to sentient beings.
My phone rang. I picked it up and it was from an overseas practitioner. I felt happy as I too had received a truth-clarifying phone call from overseas. "Thanks." I could only hear it for a while before the phone line was dropped. My phone has been tapped. Maybe the police turned it off. I was very excited. Overseas practitioners put in a lot of effort to make these calls to China to tell people about the persecution. The truth-clarifying phone calls have encouraged many practitioners in mainland China.
We are one body. We are indestructible as a whole. We must follow Master's instructions, cooperate with each other, help each other and fulfill the responsibility that history has bestowed upon us.
