The Austrian newspaper "Kurier", which focuses on cultural news, and some other local newspapers reported on this international art exhibition with headlines such as "art for human rights", "art for justice", "the moving pictures" and "Chinese artists battle against violence and totalitarianism". They also reported on the guiding principle of Falun Gong " "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", as well as the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Some artists from China personally experienced persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Falun Gong practitioners follow the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and practice five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Due to the popularity of Falun Gong and its spreading all over the world in the 1990s, Falun Gong became brutally persecuted by the CCP starting in 1999. At present there are still many innocent people being tortured and killed.

Local TV station MKTV reported on the opening ceremony of the art exhibition. The TV station broadcast opening speeches made by Mrs. Ulrike Konigsberger-Ludwig and Mrs. Melanie Fleck. Mrs. Konigsberger-Ludwig is a national councillor, a member of the human rights committee, and councilwoman for culture in Amstetten; Mrs. Fleck is the person in charge of "Ars Cara". The reporter from MKTV also interviewed Mrs. Grieb, the President of the Austrian branch of the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR-IgfM). Mrs. Greb said, "China is the main point of our effort, because the CCP has never committed itself on any item of the UN Human Rights Conventions. Helping Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering persecution is one of our important tasks."

Ms. Grieb added, "Helping people to see these pictures is extremely beneficial. I am very gratified by people's responses. I feel what we can do is limited; however, people may tell others about this persecution after thinking about it carefully, and this in turn will cause others to think."
