1. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] 38 Practitioners Arrested
On the afternoon of March 1, 2007, 38 practitioners from Binzhou City, Shandong Province were having a “Fa” conference in a practitioner's home near No. 2 Huanghe Road in Binzhou City. The police learned about this beforehand. All practitioners were taken into custody and detained on criminal charges on March 2 and March 4 respectively. The practitioners are being held in the Binzhou City Detention Center. The police searched practitioners' homes on March 1. Several production sites of Falun Dafa “truth-clarification” materials have been vandalized.

On the evening of February 26, 2007, practitioners Ms. Jia Xiaoxia, Ms. Jia Xiaohong, and Ms. Zhang Yuxiu from Henan Province were taken into custody while clarifying the truth in Qi County in Hebi City. They are being held in the Qi County Detention Center in Hebi City.
4. [Daxing District, Beijing] Ms. Dai Xiuru and Her Daughter Guo Jianghong Arrested
Ms. Dai Xiuru, 59, and her daughter Ms. Guo Jianghong, 32, are practitioners from Daxing District, Beijing. On February 10, 2007, they were taken into custody at their home by police officers. Ms. Dai was detained and she is being held in the Fengtai Detention Center. The whereabouts of Ms. Guo are unknown.
5. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Xinying Arrested
On January 12, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xinying from Urumqi, Xinjiang was arrested by officers from the Shuimogou Police Station in Xinjiang. It is possible that she is being held in the Shuimogou Women's Prison in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Mr. Zhu Lijun, a practitioner from Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province, was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2002. He is being held in Hulan Prison in Heilongjiang Province.
10. [Dali City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Wang Zuogen Arrested
Mr. Wang Zuogen is a practitioner from Caojian Town in Yunlong County, Dali City, Yunnan Province. In September 2006, he worked on odd jobs in Weixi County (an autonomous county of Susu Nationality), Yunnan Province. He was arrested by officers from the Weixi County Police Department for clarifying the truth. His case has been transferred to the county “procuratorate.” Mr. Wang had previously been sentenced to four years in prison by Yunlong County authorities and held in the No. 1 Prison in Yunnan Province. He was released in 2004 at the end of his prison term. He now faces further persecution by Weixi County authorities.

12. [Da'an City, Jilin Province] Practitioners Mr. Xiao Yurong and His Wife Ms. Liu Cai Taken into Custody
On March 6, 2007, Mr. Xiao Yurong and his wife Ms. Liu Cai, practitioners from Da'an City, clarified the truth to students. One of the student's parents reported them to the police. Officers from the Jinhua Police Station took the two practitioners into custody.
13. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Persecution Facts of Ms. Ren Zhifang and Other Practitioners
Since 23 practitioners from Laizhou were arrested on January 24, 2007, each has been put through inhuman torture. Ms. Ren Zhifang was kicked all over her body by officer Yu Zhibin (male). Her knees were injured and she could not walk or take care of herself. Her family was called in to carry her home as the officers did not want to be held responsible for their brutal acts.
Family members of practitioners went to the 610 Office to demand their release numerous times. Yu Zhibin and other officers threatened the family members. The officers also demanded cash in exchange for release. The officers have collected over 200,000 “yuan” and family members have paid between 2,000 yuan and 57,000 yuan. Still, several practitioners remain in custody at the Laizhou Detention Center.
In addition, practitioners Mr. Lu Chengjun, Mr. Xu Yongqing and Mr. Liu Hongying, who remain in custody at the Laizhou Detention Center, were scheduled twice for trial. Practitioner Mr. Zhao Shengfu was sentenced to one year of forced labor at the end of 2006. Mr. Zhao is being held in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
14. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Qian Yufeng Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
On January 29, 2007, Mr. Qian Yufeng, a practitioner from Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, was arrested in Xuanhan County, Dazhou City. On February 12, Mr. Qian was “illegally sentenced” to two years of forced labor by Han Jiayi (male), head of the Dazhou City 610 Office, Song Kaijun (male) and Song Qiang (male), in charge of the city's State Security Division, members of the Xuanhan County 610 Office, and the county's State Security Division.

At 11:00 a.m. on March 6, 2007, officers from the Sisiqiao Police Station in Jinniu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province arrived at the hair salon operated by Ms. Yang Jinhua and her sister Ms. Yang Bamei. After asking for their names, the police pushed the sisters into a police vehicle. The sisters' whereabouts are unknown.
19. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Two Female Practitioners Taken into Custody by Xinjian Police Department
Ms. Song, who lives in the family quarters next to the former Fire Department in Baishan City, Jilin Province, and another female practitioner were taken into custody at Ms. Song's home by the Xinjian Police Department on March 3, 2007. Lu Dehe (male), deputy chief of the police department, and Li, head of the State Security Division, led a dozen or so officers to break into Ms. Song's home. The two practitioners are being held in the Baishan City Detention Center.

21. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Song Xianyun Taken into Custody
Song Xianyun, a practitioner from Biyang Village in Shengjing Town, Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province, was taken into custody by officers from the Zaoyuan Police Station for clarifying the truth.
22. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Zhantang Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
In early May 2006, Jia Baoqing (male) and Kang Baoshuan (male) from the Political Security Group of the Chencang District Police Department in Baoji City forced their way into Mr. Yang Zhantang's home when there was only a teenage child at home. They found a few copies of the Chinese edition of “Minghui Weekly” and some truth-clarification fliers. They detained Mr. Yang for about two weeks and extorted 500 yuan from him. They threatened Mr. Yang with prison and a forced labor term in an attempt to round up other practitioners. After Mr. Yang refused to cooperate, they sentenced him to one year of forced labor.
23. [Tianzhu County, Gansu Province] Elderly Practitioner Mr. Zheng Taken into Custody
On March 3, 2007, elderly practitioner Mr. Zheng (first name unknown) from Tianzhu County, Gansu Province was taken into custody by the Tianzhu County 610 Office and police department after the authorities received information about him. On March 5, a truth clarification materials production site in the county was vandalized. The police took personal computers and other equipment. Practitioners have been forced to leave town.
24. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
The Tiefeng District Court in Qiqihar City has recently sentenced the following practitioners to prison: Wu Yuanlong, 14 years in prison; An Jingtao, 9 years; Qi Dawei, 9 years; Zhang Jiqiu, 9 years; Yang Chunling, 7 years; Cui Xiaoping, 7 years; Zheng Huachun, 7 years; Yang Jing, 7 years; Zhao Wenshan, 10 years; Wang Yan, 7 years; Li Qi, 7 years; and Wu Ruifang, 4 years. The prison terms for Xing Yanliang, Liu Jingming and Ci Hai are not known.
Practitioners currently held in the No. 1 Detention Center in Qiqihar City are: Wang Guirong, Jiang Yuan, Jiang Yunqiu, Hou Yaqian, Chen Ying, Zhang Xuemei, Zhao Yinghua, Wang Chunxiang, and Liu Hui.
25. [Fengnan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Xueyong Forced to Leave Town to Avoid Arrest
On February 28, 2007, Yao Baofu (male), commissioner of Daodi Town Government in Fengnan City, and Yao Hongsheng (male), director of the police station, led a group of people to break into practitioner Mr. Li Xueyong's home. They claimed that they received reports that Mr. Li persuaded others to withdraw from the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. Mr. Li happened to not be at home. After he learned about this situation, he was forced to leave town.

26. [Muling City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Peng Shuquan Taken into Custody on His Way to Tianjin by Harbin Railroad Police around January 20
27. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Liao Yongyi Taken into Custody by Xiaojiahe Police Station
On the evening of March 2, 2007, officers from the Xiaojiahe Police Station in Gaoxin District , Chengdu City broke into practitioner Ms. Liao Yongyi's home at No. 3, No. 1 Xinrongxi Lane in Wuhou District. They took Ms. Liao, who is about 60 years old, to the police station that night and sent her away the next day. Her whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Liao's husband has long been bedridden. He cannot take care of himself and has been left unattended.

28. [Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autononous Region] Mr. Wang Junfan from Tulihe Town Taken into Custody
Mr. Wang Junfan, who was released from custody just prior to the Chinese lunar New Year (February 18, 2007), was again taken to the Yakeshi Brainwashing Center by members of the Yakeshi Forestry Bureau 610 Office. Mr. Wang is from Tulihe Town in Yakeshi City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Practitioner Mr. Sun Shiying, who was taken into custody by the Yakeshi Forestry Bureau 610 Office, is being held in the Yakeshi Forestry Detention Center. The authorities have denied him any visitors. Mr. Sun has developed symptoms of severe heart problems, but the authorities have insisted on keeping him in custody.
29. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Du Xide from Ducun Town Taken into Custody
On the morning of February 28, 2007, members of the Jiaozhou City 610 Office, accompanied by officers from the Ducun Town Police Station, arrived in police vehicles at Dakuaijiagou Village in Ducun Town. They took practitioner Mr. Du Xide into custody. Mr. Du's wife, practitioner Yu Airong, was just released during the Chinese Spring Festival season (around February 18, 2007), after serving four years in prison. The family was again broken apart.
30. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Recent Situation of Practitioners Being Persecuted in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
112 practitioners are being held in the No. 7 Division of the No. 2 Men's Forced Labor Camp. About 10 of them are under strict surveillance around the clock. They are forced to get up at 5:00 a.m. to sit still on small stools until 11:00 p.m.
About 12 individuals work in the so-called “transformation” group, whose job it is to coerce practitioners to renounce Falun Dafa. Its members include: Li Ru from Qingdao City City, head of the group, Qiu Renzi from Yantai City, deputy head of the group, and other key members Zang Xiyong from Jinan City, Wang Jiasheng, Li Peihong, Li Xiaodong, Liu Zhensong, and Gao Zhenquan.
Practitioner Mr. Sun Debo from Zichuan Disrict, Zibo City has been on a protest hunger strike for over 70 days with firm righteous thoughts. He was force-fed and his life is in imminent danger.
