1. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Kong Xiangzhu Tortured to Disability, Cannot Take Care of Himself
Practitioner Mr. Kong Xiangzhu from Shuangyashan City is now being held in Mudanjiang City Prison's No. 1 Ward. He has been tortured severely for refusing to cooperate with the prison personnel and refusing to renounce Falun Dafa. Mr. Kong has shown symptoms of meningitis/encephalitis for more than a year. He cannot take care of himself and was to be released on bail for hospitalization. However, the Shuangyashan City 610 Office personnel did not want to accept him, and personnel from the prison did not want to release him. It’s said the former has now agreed to accept Mr. Kong, but the latter would not release him unless he paid a certain amount of money.
2. [Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Practitioner Yang Li’s Life in Peril
Personnel from the Shuixigou District 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Yang Li from Wulumuqi City on February 1, 2007 for no reason. Yang Li has been staging a hunger strike for many days to protest the persecution. She was sent to the Liudaowan Detention Center Hospital. Her family and friends are forbidden to visit her. Yang Li’s life is in peril.
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Many Practitioners Sentenced and Held
Tiefeng District Court agents sentenced the following practitioners: Mr. Wu Yuanlong to 14 years of imprisonment, Mr. An Jingtao: 9 years, Mr. Qi Dawei: 9 years, Ms. Zhang Jiqiu: 9 years, Ms. Yang Chunling: 7 years, Ms. Cui Xiaoping: 7 years, Ms. Zheng Huachun: 7 years, Ms. Yang Jing: 7 years, Mr. Zhao Wenshan: 10 years, Mr. Wang Yan: 7 years, Mr. Li Qi: 7 years, Ms. Wu Ruifang: 4 years; Mr. Xing Yanliang, Mr. Liu Jingming and Mr. Ci Hai’s verdicts are not yet known.
The following practitioners are being held at the Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center: Ms. Wang Guirong, Ms. Jiang Yuan, Ms. Jiang Yunqiu, Ms. Shen Zili, Ms. Hou Yaqian, Ms. Chen Ying, Ms. Zhang Xuemei, Ms. Zhao Yinghua, Ms. Wang Chunxiang, Ms. Xu Hongmei and Liu Hui.
Xu Hongmei and Shen Zili had been on a hunger strike since January 14, 2007. They were brutally tortured. Policewoman Peng Li from the No. 1 Detention Center force-fed Shen Zili on January 22, 2007.
Another practitioner is being tortured at the Qiqihar City Police Hospital.

4. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Hu Jinrui Arrested
Wang Haibo and other personnel from the Gongzhuling City National Security Team arrested practitioner Ms. Hu Jinrui on February 1, 2007, and put her into a detention center. Hu Jinrui was later sentenced to one year of forced labor and transferred to Changchun City’s Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp on February 15, 2007.
5. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Zhu Xiucheng and Luu Hengyi Are Brutally Tortured
Practitioner Mr. Zhu Xiucheng, in his fifties, was a teacher at the Mudanjiang City Normal University. He was illegally arrested in December 2006 and taken to a police station where he commenced a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He was later transferred to the city’s National Security Bureau where police beat him badly. His mouth was severely injured, and he could not eat for days. Mr. Zhu is being held at the city’s No. 2 Detention Center at present. His wife, also a Dafa practitioner, was sentenced to imprisonment at the Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison.
Practitioner Mr. Luu Hengyi, an employee from the city’s Telecommunication Bureau, was arrested in September 2005. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and is now being held in the Jianshanzi Prison’s No. 10 Ward. According to his family, severe torture gave him facial psoriasis. His ears secrete a discharge. He is extremely weak and in poor mental condition.
6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] A Practitioner Surnamed Qing is Arrested at Home - The Practitioner’s Whereabouts Unknown
Two Chengdu City police officers broke into practitioner Qing’s home on February 12, 2007, and arrested him/her. The practitioner’s family and friends have no information about his/her whereabouts at all. It’s unknown whether the practitioner is dead or alive.
7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioners’ Families Request Release of Their Relatives
The families of arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Liqiu, Mr. Zhao Guoxing, and Ms. Mu Chunhong in Jilin City keep requesting the related departments to release the practitioners. They have repeated their request even during the New Year holidays.
8. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Huo Yanhua Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor – Belated News
Practitioner Ms. Huo Yanhua lives at the No. 2 Division in Gujiazi Village, Wanchang Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province. She had late stage colon cancer surgery in August 2000. Her doctor told her family that she only had two months to live. Ms. Huo started to practice Falun Gong. After less than two months of practice she recovered her health. Persecutors sentenced Huo Yanhua to one year of forced labor in 2006 for practicing Falun Gong.
Wanchang Town Police Department Chief Zhang Tiejun led policemen Zhang Liansheng and Zhang Guohua to break into Ms. Huo’s home and ransack the place on March 2, 2006. They confiscated her Dafa books and an exercise tape, and put her into the county’s detention center.
Zhang Tiejun forced Ms. Huo to sign the forced labor verdict on March 15, 2006 and then transferred her to the Jilin City Detention Center.

9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Incidents of Persecution Regarding Practitioner Zhang Yingfang
The police put 65-year-old practitioner Ms. Zhang Yingfang from Shuangyang City into the city’s No. 3 detention center. They also confiscated her computer, a printer and some truth-clarifying materials. She only wore a thin pair of pants when personnel from the Changchun City Police Department interrogated her in a big room. Eighteen officers took turns interrogating her, from morning to midnight. Ms. Zhang was shivering from cold during the interrogation.
10. [Beijing] Practitioner Li Guiping Tortured at the Women’s Prison
Practitioner Ms. Li Guiping was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment and put into the No. 8 Division at the Beijing Women’s Prison in 2001. She shouted, "Falun Dafa is good," and "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" on the morning of February 16, 2007. Later, the police put her into the Tight Administration Team where practitioners are brutally tortured.
11. [Beijing] Practitioners Persecuted at the Chaoyang District Panjiayuan Street Community Office - 2005/2006 Information
A guard in the Panjiayuan Street Community found 45-year-old practitioner Ms. Yan Xinyun and 50-year-old practitioner Ms. Jia Shufen distributing truth-clarifying materials and arrested them in December 2005.
Someone reported 44-year-old practitioner Ms. Shen Yujin to police on August 25, 2006. Police confiscated a Dafa book and some truth-clarifying materials from her home. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor, to be served at a Women’s Forced Labor Camp.
Someone reported practitioner Ms. Li Qingrui, who is in her fifties. Police arrested her and ransacked her home in December 2006. She is being held at the Xicheng District Detention Center.
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Chunling, Ms. Xu Ruixue and Ms. Tao Jiaqi were arrested in 2006.
12. [Beijing] Personnel from the Dongcheng District 610 Office Arrested Practitioner Ms. Tang Mingju - She is Being Held at the Bei’anhe Detention Center
13. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Guangbao Has Been Held at the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for Over a Year
Policemen including Xue Lianchun arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Guangbao at his clinic in Guan County on the afternoon of August 16, 2005. He was placed in the Wangcun No. 2 Men's Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shandong Province the next day. For those already past 1-1/2 years, no family visits are permitted. It was heard that several prisoners monitor Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang around the clock.

Someone reported practitioner Ms. Zhang Chunxiang from Shanglaozhuang Village in Dongping County when she was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong at Ganyutou Village. She is presently being held at the Xiao’anshan Police Station.

15. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Li Zhijun Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Policemen including Wang Qi stopped practitioner Mr. Li Zhijun from Lijiagou Village, Qijia Town, Longkou City while he was riding a motorcycle in mid-January 2007. They searched him and then put him into the Zhangjiagou Detention Center. He was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Personnel from the Longkou City Police Department and from the Qijia Town Police Station ransacked his grandma’s and 80-year-old practitioner Mr. Li Guangyin’s homes. They confiscated some Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, a tape recorder, Video-CD player and a new cell phone. They interrogated Mr. Li Guangyin until 2:00 a.m. at the Qijia Police Station and did not release him until 12:00 noon.

16. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Zhang Fengying Sentenced
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Fengying from the Fengnan District in Tangshan City was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor on February 22, 2007. She was transferred from the Fengnan Detention Center to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
Practitioner Ms. Xian Sushuang has been released home.
17. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Yang Yan Arrested
Ni Jiangong from the Xiheying Town 610 Office in Wei County, Zhangjiakou City led four officers from the town’s police department to break into practitioner Mr. Yang Yan’s home in Xiheying while he was cooking. They ransacked his home and confiscated some truth-clarifying materials, some Dafa books, a stapler, two tape recorders, two WCD, two cell phones (one of them worth 1,300 yuan), 1,900 yuan from Yang Yan, and 3,943 yuan from his wife Ms. Geng Yulin. They forcibly took Mr. Yang and his wife to the police department and then put him into the Wei County Detention Center. This happened forty days ago.
Ms. Geng’s hometown is Xiayuanzhao Village, Chenjiawa Township in Wei County. She had been to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in Beijing several times and was held at the township government for over five months. The government officials confiscated her TV, a VCD player, a tricycle, a motorcycle, a bicycle, and 5,000 yuan. The police shocked her with electric batons at the township’s police station and otherwise tortured her for 15 days. Later they held her at the county’s detention center for 15 days. Ms. Geng staged a protest hunger strike. Officials at the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp twice refused to accept her for her three-year term.
18. [Xianyang City, Shannxi Province] Practitioners Chen Xiumei and Zhang Baoqin Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Chen Xiumei and Ms. Zhang Baoqin from Xianyang City went to neighboring villages to distribute truth-clarifying materials on the night of January 13, 2007. They were arrested and sent to the Shannxi Province Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Xi'an City in early February. Ms. Chen was sentenced to 21 months of forced labor and is being held at the No. 4 Division. Ms. Zhang Baoqin was sentenced to 15 months of forced labor and is being held at the No. 2 Division.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Yongmei Sentenced to Imprisonment
Practitioner Ms. Yang Yongmei from Wuhan City, who went to Danjiangkou City to distribute truth-clarifying materials in July 2006, was reported to police and later held at the city’s No.1 Detention Center. She was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in late 2006 and is now appealing.

20. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Two practitioners from Gulou Village, Jinshi Town, Chao’an County, Chaozhou City in Guangdong Province and two practitioners from another village were arrested in late 2006. It was heard that they have been sent to Sanshui City in Guangdong Province.
21. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
More than ten practitioners in Guagnzhou City studied the "Fa" together on January 10, 2007. Because some practitioners were tracked, the police arrested all of them. Only a pregnant practitioner and an older practitioner have been released.
22. [Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Qian Yufeng Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Personnel from the Xuanhan County National Security Division in Sichuan Province sentenced recently-arrested practitioner Mr. Qian Yufeng to two years of forced labor on February 19, 2007. Mr. Qian is now being held at the Xuanhan County Detention Center.
23. [Guizhou Province] Practitioner Mr. Peng Yongtao Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Peng Yongtao is from Shatu Town in Jinsha County, Guizhou Province. Personnel from the Xiangzhou Police Station in Zhuhai City arrested Mr. Peng on February 14, 2007. Mr. Peng has been on a hunger strike for more than ten days. His life is in danger.
Peng Yongtao had been detained at the Guizhou Province Zhongba Forced Labor Camp for three years and has lived in exile after his release. Mr. Peng had planned to finish his work and then return home. However, lawless policemen broke into his rented house in Zhuhai City and confiscated all his collected money for his company, totaling 10,000 yuan in cash, and a 10,000-yuan check. Policeman Li (Badge Number 86-13360611229) participated in the illegal action.
