1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Luo Guolong Arrested; His Current Whereabouts Unknown
On January 10, 2007, practitioner Mr. Luo Guolong from Ciyutuo Village, Yijia Township, Xinchengzi District of Shenyang City went to the Laobian Township of Yuhong District to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and persuade people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. However, he was reported and arrested by police officers from the Laobian Township Police Station. At 5:00 p.m. on the same day, officer Han Zhiqiang (male) and others, led by CCP Secretary Shao Baode (male) of Ciyutuo Village, broke into Mr. Luo's home and confiscated Falun Dafa books and materials.
The following day, Mr. Luo’s family members went to the police station to ask for his release. However, the officers claimed that they did not know where Mr. Luo was. Thus, the whereabouts of Mr. Luo are currently unknown.
Mr. Luo has been repeatedly subjected to mistreatment by the 610 Office of Xinchengzi District in Shenyang City.

2. [Anhui Province] Persecution of Practitioners in the No. 3 Prison of Su County
The No. 3 Prison of Su County in Anhui Province is currently detaining over one hundred and fifty practitioners (including over ninety female practitioners and over sixty male practitioners). The guards have been using all kinds of brutal torture methods on practitioners who refuse to be "transformed." Torture methods include the "small cell," cuffing their hands behind their back, brutal beatings, shocking with electric batons, etc.
The guards have been using a new model of electric baton, which is smaller in size but carries a voltage four times the strength of the ordinary electric baton. They have been using it to shock practitioners, and it has caused some practitioners to be thrown against the wall. Afterwards, the guards handcuff the practitioners and shackle their feet. Then, they use seven electric batons together to shock the practitioners.
Practitioners Mr. Wang Shiqiang from Huainan City, Mr. Du Shangwei from Huaibei City, and Mr. Ren Xingde from Bozhou City have all been subjected to such brutal torture methods.
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] The No. 2 Prison in Jilin Province Repeatedly Subjected Practitioner Mr. Sun Qian to Brutal Torture
After practitioner Mr. Sun Qian from Dehui City in Jilin Province was illegally sentenced to imprisonment, the No. 2 Prison in Jilin Province repeatedly subjected him to brutal torture. Every time they tortured him, they continued until he was almost dead before stopping. At present, the No. 2 Division of the prison is secretly mistreating him by strictly monitoring him and blocking information in order to hide evidence of its crimes.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Ren Xichang Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Ren Xichang was taken away while sleeping at home by a group of people led by Chen Yan (male) from the Jilin Street Police Station. His ninety five year-old mother, his handicapped wife, and his school-aged son are left at home alone. His family no longer has a means of income. When Mr. Ren’s wife went to the police department to ask for her husband's release, she was turned away.
The Jilin Street Police Station was involved in the persecution of many practitioners in 2006. Ms. Shao Zhenhua was one of the practitioners who were taken away without any cause; she was put into the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Her husband, who was mentally ill and had no one to take care of him after her arrest, died within one month.

5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] News on Practitioner Ms. Wang Bo and Her Family
The entire family of practitioner Ms. Wang Bo, arrested on July 28, 2006, was put through a trial on November 10, 2006, in the Chang’an District Court of Shijiazhuang City, and they still have not heard the results. When the State Security Division of the Shijiazhuang City Police Department arrested the family members and ransacked their home, officers confiscated over forty thousand yuan in cash. Since the cash has not been given to the court yet, the court is currently trying to resolve the issue under pressure from the media and the family members’ strong requests.
6. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Peng Yun Started to Practice Falun Dafa in Prison
Ms. Peng Yun started to practice Falun Dafa after she met practitioners when she was held in the detention center. She is currently being held in the No. 4 Division of the Women’s Prison in Hebei Province, where she has been since 2004. She has often been subjected to the "small cell" torture method.
7. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Mr. Zhou Huarong Already Transferred to the Hongqiao District Court
After fifteen days of detention in the Hongqiao District Police Department, practitioner Mr. Zhou Huarong from Hongqiao District of Tianjin City was transferred to the Hongqioa District Court. His family members received notice from the police station on January 25, 2007.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Yu Wei Arrested
Officers from the Kuiwen District 610 Office of Weifang City and from the Guangwen District Police Station broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Yu Wei and ransacked it with the excuse of checking the "Temporary Residence" on January 4, 2007. On the afternoon of January 24, 2007, Mr. Yu was arrested on his way home from work and taken to the Guangwen District Police Station. He was taken to the Weifang District Detention Center at 4:00 p.m. the same day and was subjected to torture.
9. [Pingyao County, Shanxi Province] Practitioners, Including Ms. Zhao Yuerui, Arrested
On the evening of December 24, 2006, police officers from Jiexiu City followed practitioners to the temporary home of practitioner Ms. Li Na, located on No. 19 Street of Pingyao County. They colluded with police officers from Pingyao County to arrest practitioners Ms. Zhao Yuerui (about 60), Ms. Ji Lingxian (about 60), Ms. Li Na (about 47) from Jinnan Region, and a male practitioner who had to leave Jinnan Region and was relocated to Pingyao County. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, a disc burner, and a photocopy machine. They also took the three thousand yuan Ms. Li Nan’s husband had just received as salary, and confiscated truth-clarification materials and supplies worth a total of over thirty thousand yuan.
At present, Ms. Li Na is being held in the Pingyao County Detention Center; the whereabouts of the other practitioners are not clear.
10. [Beijing City] Practitioner Ms. Li Yuehua Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Yuehua from Beijing City was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarification materials near Tongzhou District at noon on January 23, 2007. Her home was ransacked immediately afterwards.
11. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Xiong Shui’e Sentenced to Forced Labor
On the afternoon of December 7, 2006, practitioner Ms. Xiong Shui’e from the Feather Factory of Gongqingcheng District of Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province was arrested by the Gongqingcheng District Police Department (code number 110) when she was clarifying the truth. She was taken to the Chashan Police Station of the Gongqingcheng District Police Department, and later transferred to the State Security Division of the Gongqingcheng District Police Department. That night, the chief of the State Security Division, Lin Jiajun (male), led a group of people to break into and ransack Ms. Xiong's home. They took Ms. Xiong to the detention center of the Gongqingcheng District Police Department. Police officers there mistreated Ms. Xiong and tried to force her to write a guarantee statement to renounce the practice of Falun Dafa, claiming that they would release her if she wrote the statement. However, Ms. Xiong refused. On December 19, 2006, police officers took Ms. Xiong to the Jiujiang City Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Shandong Province] 610 Office of Laizhou City Arrests Practitioners
On January 24, 2007, police officers, including Yu Zhibin (male) from the Laizhou City 610 Office, arrested practitioners near the Laizhou City Court and the Laizhou City Shopping Center. At present, 23 practitioners are being held in the Dianzi Brainwashing Center of Laizhou City. When the police officers were arresting the practitioners, they lied to those in the immediate surrounding area, stating that they were arresting some thieves. They even arrested two practitioners (mother and daughter) inside the shopping center.
13. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Fengjun Arrested
Six or seven police officers from the Liujia Town Police Station in Yushu City broke into and ransacked the home of practitioner Mr. Zhang Fengjun on the afternoon of January 25, 2007. The officers interrogated Mr. Zhang, asking whether he would continue to practice Falun Dafa. Because Mr. Zhang refused to say anything, they took him to the police department to interrogate him further and mistreat him.

14. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Xu Liumei
Practitioner Ms. Xu Liumei was arrested and is currently being held in the No. 1 Detention Center of Beihai City in Guangxi Province. No one has been allowed to see her. Her Taiwanese husband cannot take care of himself. With the help of friends, he went to the institutions that are involved in the arrest of his wife and requested her release. However, his requests were denied.

Practitioners Mr. Guo Shenghua and Ms. Zhang Yuxia from the Xuhui District of Shanghai City were arrested at their work units on January 25, 2007. Their homes were also ransacked. At home, they have two children who are attending kindergarten and need parents to take care of them.

Practitioner Mr. Wu Xiaoqin’s home was ransacked on the morning of January 15, 2007 when he was not home.
19. [Beijing City] Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuzhi Subjected to Long-term Mistreatment
Practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuzhi, 52, from the Huairou District of Beijing City was subjected to long-term torture between February 2005 and May 2006 , in the No. 7 Division of the Beijing City Women’s Forced Labor Camp. She was monitored by six drug addict inmates and was in a very difficult situation. Her situation following May 2006 is not clear.
20. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] News Brief on the Persecution of Practitioners in Jilin City Prison
When practitioner Mr. Jin Chengquan was monitored by two prisoners in the Jilin City Prison, the prisoners learned the truth about Falun Dafa, and therefore refused to participate in the persecution. Because of this, Mr. Jin and the two prisoners were subjected to strict monitoring.
Practitioner Mr. Shi Wenzhuo from Jiutai City is currently being subjected to strict monitoring. Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaohu from Huadian City has been subjected to severe torture. When his mother went to see him, she saw that he was experiencing difficulties standing up and walking.
On January 23, 2007, practitioners Ms. Feng Shaogui, Ms. Xin Xin, and another practitioner whose name is unknown, were arrested by police from the Weicang Police Station of Cangyi City Police Department. Three practitioners have been taken to the Jilin City Police Station.

On January 25, 2007, practitioners Ms. Cao Yan from Linghai City, Ms. Zhao Dan from the Jingzhou Oil Production Factory of Liaohe Oil Field in Panjing City, and Ms. Sun Fengjie, were arrested by officers from the Jingxiu Police Station when they were distributing truth-clarification materials in the Jingzhou Oil Production Factory. Ms. Zhao has been taken to the State Security Division of Panjing City, and Ms. Cao and Ms. Sun are still being held in the Jingxiu Police Station of the Jingzhou Oil Production Factory.

22. [Chongqing City] Most Current Information on the Persecution of Practitioners Including Ms. Wu Huazhen
At present, practitioner Ms. Wu Huazhen is being held in the Jiangbei District Detention Center and is enduring mistreatment.
Practitioner Mr. Luo Xiangxu from the Jiangbei District General Repair Factory of Chongqing City jumped out of a window from his fourth-floor home in an attempt to escape persecution. He is currently receiving treatment on the 12th Floor of the Dashiba Warrior Hospital in Jiangbei District. His wife Ms. Xiang Zhongyao was taken to the Yongchuan Forced Labor Camp and was sentenced to seven years of forced labor.
23. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioners, Including Ms. Li Fumei, Arrested
The chief of the Huangdao Town Police Station in the West Coast Development District of Qingdao City, Xue Weishan (male), and others went to the Shizilu Garden Village to arrest practitioner Ms. Li Fumei. In the process, they smashed the doors and broke the locks. Another practitioner went to clarify the truth to the police officers when he saw what was happening, and was also arrested. Both practitioners are being held in the Liuhuabo Town Detention Center.
On January 19, 2007, practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuqin from Xugezhuang Village was arrested when she went to a market in Wopeng Village of Huangdao District. The cause of the arrest and her current whereabouts are unknown.
24. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhao Wenxiu Arrested
At about 3:00 p.m. on January 23, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhao Wenxiu, about 70, was arrested by officers from the Tongtan Town Police Station when she was distributing truth-clarification materials and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in Tongtan Town, Jiangyang District of Luzhou City.
25. [Jilin City] Practitioner Mr. Chen Zhi Arrested at His Home
Practitioner Mr. Chen Zhi from Dongsanjiazi Village, Jiangmifeng Town of Jilin City was arrested at his home by officers from the Jiangmifeng Town Police Station on the morning of January 22, 2006. Police officers went to his home again that afternoon to harass his family. Mr. Chen is currently being held in the Jilin City Detention Center, where he is subjected to torture.

On January 25, 2007, two female practitioners in their sixties were distributing truth-clarification materials on the No. 22 bus in Beidaihe District of Qinhuangdao City when they were reported and subsequently arrested as they got off the bus.

On January 25, 2007, practitioner Mr. Wang Junyao from the Bohai Oil Company was again subjected to arrest and detention by the local police department while he was at his workplace. He is currently being held in the Tanggu Detention Center. This case is connected to the arrest of twelve practitioners from the Bohai Oil Company and the ransacking of their homes on December 19, 2006.
30. [Tianjin City] Practitioner Ms. Jin Chengrong Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Jin Chengrong, in her forties and a college graduate, used to work in the Tianchen Engineer Company (the former No. 1 Design Institute of the Chemical Industrial Bureau). In 1992, she was suffering from cancer and received surgical treatment at the Tianjin City Tumor Hospital. After the surgery, her body was extremely weak. Shortly after she started to practice Falun Dafa her body totally recovered. She worked diligently and was once sent by her workplace to work in Italy.
Since July 20, 1999, she has been clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. On January 7, 2007, she was arrested and taken to the Heping District Detention Center of Tianjin City, where she was subjected to torture. She was transferred on January 18, 2007.

On November 26, 2006, practitioner Ms. Lei Wenxia from Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She was subsequently arrested and is currently being held in the Huanhua District Detention Center. Her physical health is extremely poor.

Recently, practitioner Ms. Tian Mei from Licheng District of Jinan City was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in Zhangmaxi Village of Chenjia District. She was subsequently arrested by police from the 610 Office of Licheng District. Her home was also ransacked. She is currently being detained.
33. [Henan Province] Practitioner Ms. Shen Yuehong Walked Away from the Brainwashing Center; Staying Away from Home to Avoid Being Arrested
Practitioners Mr. Yang Jianjun and his wife Ms. Shen Yuehong were arrested on January 20, 2007. Ms. Shen was taken to her hometown in Huangchuan County of Henan Province, where she was put into a brainwashing center to be subjected to torture, with guards monitoring her twenty-four hours a day. At about 5:00 a.m. on January 26, 2007, Ms. Shen Yuehong walked away from the brainwashing center with righteous thoughts. When she was struggling to get out, her clothes were ripped off. She now has to stay away from home to avoid being arrested.
34. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Surong Arrested
On January 12, 2007, when practitioner Ms. Yang Surong was at home doing housework, she was arrested by police officers including Hu Shengbin (male) from the Shehong County 610 Office and Zhou Yuan (male) from the State Security Division. She was taken to the Shehong County Detention Center where she is subjected to torture.
35. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners, Including Ms. Yang Lijie from the Fuyu Private Ranch, Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Yang Lijie from the Fuyu Private Ranch in Fuyu County was home at a little past 5:00 p.m. on January 19, 2007, when seven or eight police officers, including the director of the Nahe City 610 Office, Fu Libin (male) broke into her home. As soon as they entered her home, they tackled her family members to immobilize them while her child started to cry out in fear. The officers confiscated Ms. Yang's computer, printer, supplies for making truth-clarification materials, and other property. They also took over seven thousand yuan that came from selling corn last fall. Ms. Yang was handcuffed, and without letting her put on her coat in the freezing winter, the officers took her away wearing only slippers on her feet.
Practitioner Ms. Fan Xiangjie disappeared on January 16, 2007. On January 19, 2007, it was learned that the same group of police officers arrested her and also ransacked her home, confiscating four computers. Her family member, Mr. Bao Jianguo, was also arrested, but he was released on January 19, 2007. At a little past 5:00 p.m. that day, her family members received a phone call informing them that Ms. Fan had been arrested by the Nahe City 610 Office. At about the same time, Ms. Yang Lijie’s home was ransacked.
On the evening of January 24, 2007, practitioner Mr. Han from Erdaowan Town was also arrested.

On around January 17, 2007, a practitioner from Sihui City in Guangdong Province disappeared, and so far there has been no news about this practitioner. On January 20, 2007, another practitioner disappeared, and there isn't any news available.
37. [Beijing City] Supplementary Information on the Arrest of Practitioners from Beijing City During the CCP’s Two Sessions of the NPC and the CPPCC
According to the description from the guards of the Dongcheng District Police Department of Beijing City, during the CCP's two sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held during March 2006, over three thousand Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested and taken away within the region of Beijing City. By April 25, 2006, the number of arrested practitioners reached five thousand. For every practitioner arrested, the police officer involved in the arrest was rewarded ten thousand yuan.
The following is a list of practitioners arrested during the two sessions of the NPC and CPPCC:
Ms. Ma Zixiu, 61, is from Datong City in Shanxi Province. In December 2005, she went to Beijing City for a business trip. She was arrested after she was reported to the police for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in a hotel. She was held in the Dongcheng District Detention Center for two months before she was transferred to the Allocation Division for another six months. She was then taken back to her hometown.
