(Clearwisdom.net)On February 11th 2007, a ski tournament was held in Irkutsk, Siberia. Several Falun Gong practitioners went to the ski resort and distributed fliers to thousands of people there, letting them know what Falun Gong is and about how the practice is being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.

More than 15,000 people attended the ski tournament. Including the game’s organizers, spectators, police and the entertainers who came to support the event, the number of people there was very large. Many of them, including the police, were pleased to accept leaflets and asked practitioners for more information about the persecution. The practitioners were too busy to talk with all those who wanted to know more about Falun Gong and the persecution. After the games started, the practitioners purposely moved to the finish line to greet contestants. Many of them were pleased to accept fliers and express their appreciation to the practitioners.
After the event was over, practitioners went to the parking lot where dozens of buses transporting the athletes and their coaches were parked. While the practitioners held a banner on the roadside, bus drivers honked to show their support. Some people in the buses exclaimed "Falun Gong, Falun Gong" whilst others were taking pictures or waving goodbye. Undoubtedly, Falun Gong’s magnificence is becoming deeply rooted in people’s hearts.
