Solemn Declaration
I started practicing Falun Dafa back in May 1999. Two months later, the Chinese Communist regime began to suppress Falun Dafa. Since I knew Dafa was good, I continued to practice at home despite pressure from my family. After sharing experiences with fellow practitioners, I began to go out in 2003 to attend a local group study and to validate the Fa on a regular basis. I realized that I once zigzagged on the path of cultivation practice, and in fact I took the path arranged by the evil old forces. In August 2006, my daughter-in-law was reported to some police agents as she was working on truth-clarification materials. She was arrested and sent to the local police station. When the police came to confiscate Falun Dafa books, I told them that I burned them all. Out of fear, I lied to them in order to pass the tribulation. As soon as I said that, I realized that what I said was not correct, because it meant that I was taking the path arranged by the evil forces again and it could stop my practice. I hereby solemnly declare null and void everything I said and did before that did not conform to Dafa. I will take the cultivation path arranged by Master, do well the three things, and follow Master to my home.

Solemn Declaration
When a fellow practitioner was arrested in 2000, he gave my name to the police and said that I did Falun Dafa work at home. The evil persecutors came to search my house. They confiscated Master's portrait, all the Dafa books, and the truth-clarification materials, then arrested me, and took me to the county detention center. To secure my release as early as possible, my children had someone write a guarantee statement promising that I would not practice again and signed it against my will. Back then I thought it had nothing to do with me and I did not acknowledge the persecution because it was not me who wrote and signed on the statement. Now I understand that as long as I let the evil coerce me into signing the bad statement, the evil will not leave me alone. Because of my omission, and my failure to look within when there were issues and to correct my words and actions, the evil took advantage of my omission. When I was distributing truth-clarification materials in 2001, the police once again came to search my house. They took away my Dafa books, Master's pictures, and Dafa truth-clarification materials. They sentenced me to eighteen months of forced labor. During my imprisonment in the forced labor camp, I had symptoms of high blood pressure. As a result, my children helped me to be released on bail for medical treatment. I believe that all the problems resulted from my poor cultivation. Now I solemnly declare null and void everything I said and did before that did not conform to Dafa. I will redouble my efforts, and make up for the loss I brought to Dafa.
