Practitioners Ms. Zhang Guiying and Ms. Xia Shuli, both in their 50s, lived at the Liangshui Coal Mine Staff Family Dormitory. Officers from the Xianshang Police Station in Tumen City arrested them in the afternoon of November 20 when distributing flyers. Their homes were ransacked, and they are still being detained.
Officers from the Yuegong Police Station and from the Tumen City Police Department arrested several practitioners including Ding Shuxian and Liu Xiuhua from Qushui Village the end of September 2007. The police told the families at the time of arrest they would release the practitioners after only a few days. Yet, they broke their promise and transferred the practitioners to the Changchun Prison.
