(Clearwisdom.net) On a snowy winter's day, when people saw Falun Gong practitioners' display, many were interested and asked what it was all about: who were the people in the pictures on the display panels? Why were the practitioners holding this activity outside in such cold weather?
The practitioners answered that Falun Gong practitioners, who cultivate themselves according to Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, have been suffering an eight-year-long persecution in China. They are subjected to inhuman torture and some have also had their organs removed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) while still alive, for sale for organ transplants. Every person who learned about the persecution was terribly shocked and without exception condemned the CCP as evil beyond description.
One woman received a leaflet from a practitioner, and when she read the contents she immediately called a friend on her cell phone and read the leaflet aloud over the phone.
A middle-aged woman said to a practitioner, "I saw your information and signed the petition to support you." The purpose of collecting signatures is to let people all over the world know about this inhuman persecution, in the hopes that all will stand up together to stop the persecution. After carefully listening to the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution, an elderly woman asked the practitioner to give her more leaflets. She said, "I want to tell this news to all the people I know."
As a female athlete passed the display, the practitioners' beautiful, stretching movements caught her attention. She quickly came over to learn what the exercises were all about. When a practitioner told her that it was a great practice from China, she repeatedly praised it and expressed a strong interest in the Falun Gong exercises. She said, "If our city had such exercises, it would be wonderful." The practitioner carefully introduced Falun Gong to her and briefed her about the persecution of practitioners in China. Finally, the practitioner recommended to her the Russian version of Zhuan Falun and the exercise instruction videos; she was very pleased to accept them.
The practitioners' activity attracted many children, who signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution. A little girl said, "I am sure my signature today is correct."
Throughout the day, many people expressed sympathy for the practitioners who
are being persecuted in Mainland China and said they hoped that their signatures
could help Falun Gong practitioners to regain freedom soon.
