(Clearwisdom.net) Zhou Wa is my nephew's brother-in-law. Two years ago, we went back to our hometown for the Chinese New Year. We heard that Zhou Wa had contracted leukemia and had a constant high fever. He was hospitalized in my nephew's clinic. After I heard of this, I thought, "Zhou Wa is a Falun Gong practitioner. Why does he suffer from that disease?" When I went to the clinic, he was being given an infusion. He lay in bed and closed his eyes. His face looked dark. My nephew's wife tapped him and said, "Do you see who is here?" When he saw me, he felt bashful. He sat up and told me what had happened to him.
Several years ago, they went to Beijing for work. When Falun Dafa was grandly spread in Beijing, there were many practitioners at a practice site near Yiheyuan Park. Zhou Wa had started to practice there in 1996. He went to the practice site to study the Fa and practice the exercises every day. He had very good health and also ran his business well.
After the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, the practice site was gone. Zhou Wa himself lost the determination to cultivate. At the beginning, he could persist in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises. Later on, when his business kept him busy, he stopped studying the Fa and only practiced the exercises occasionally. Eventually, he totally gave up the practice.
In 2004, Zhou Wa's health worsend gradually. He had high fever continuously. Finally, he was diagnosed with blood cancer, which really shocked him. He could not afford to be hospitalized in city hospitals. Zhou Wa went back our hometown to get help. When I saw him, he had been at the clinic for a month. His situation was not stable. When he had a high fever, he was spiritless.
I said to Zhou Wa: "You are a Dafa practitioner. You obtained the Fa even earlier than us. How could you contract such a severe disease? You should think about this. Master said in his lecture that he does not want to leave any practitioners behind." I told him that Falun Gong is grandly spreading all over the world. I gave him Master's articles and the VCD of the 2004 NTDTV Chinese New Year Gala. After he read the article and watched the video, in front of me, his sister and her family, he said: "I am a disciple of Master Li. I will go back to Beijing to study the Fa, practice the exercises and run my business normally with my wife. If Master Li cannot save me, no one can. Master wants me to return."
The next afternoon, Zhou Wa left. A month later, Zhou Wa called his sister and said excitingly: "My leukemia is gone! Please tell other family members not to worry about me! You should start practicing Falun Dafa today."
After hearing Zhou Wa's words, the whole family had hearth-felt gratitude to Master Li. "Falun Dafa is good" is now deeply rooted in their hearts.
