At 10:00 a.m., the practitioners first went to the Chinese Consulate in Jakarta and did the meditation exercise. The banner displayed called on the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and the organ harvesting from live practitioners.

At 1:00 p.m., the practitioners went to the fountain at the Hotel Indonesia, where they displayed banners, held pictures of practitioners who had died in the persecution, and demonstrated how the CCP tortures practitioners. The activities attracted the attention of many people passing by.

At 2:00 p.m., with the rest of the parade contingent, the practitioners walked toward the Presidential Palace. Practitioners in yellow and white held banners reading, "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" at the front of the parade. The practitioners holding pictures of those who had died in the persecution walked quietly in the parade. Most were young practitioners. The most shocking scene in the parade was the torture exhibition--a reenactment of two CCP police officers shocking wounded practitioners with electric batons. Practitioners handed out flyers containing the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong.

When the parade arrived at the Presidential Palace, the police officers stood in two rows warning people in the parade not to cross the line for safety reasons. Several officers asked questions about the persecution. A practitioner told them how the practitioners died in China because of the persecution and the facts about organ removal from living practitioners. The practitioner also explained how the practice benefits one's body and mind. An officer expressed interest in learning the practice and took down the practitioner's name and phone number. The rest of the police officers took fliers and read them carefully.
