(Clearwisdom.net) I am an older Dafa practitioner who started practicing Falun Gong in March 1996. In the process of clarifying the truth to save people, my mind was continually purified and my righteous thoughts kept growing stronger. I began to understand more and more the significance of the responsibility and mission of practitioners, and the urgency of saving lives. As long as the Fa rectification is not concluded, I will make unrelenting efforts to clarify the truth and save sentient beings.
By now I have already explained the true facts about Falun Dafa to almost all my relatives and friends, and most of them have understood and withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I still keep clarifying the facts, and I try my best not to miss any person I meet, whether I know them or not. I make the best use of my time to clarify the truth and try to save as many lives as possible.
In the process of doing the three things I also came to realize that doing Dafa work without cultivating oneself is doing Dafa work as an ordinary person. Actually, not only is clarifying the truth saving lives, all our words and deeds are having the effect of saving lives. I came to understand that practitioners' sharing the truth with people is a major way of saving people, and how we conduct ourselves in everyday life has a significant effect on whether we can validate Dafa. It directly influences the attitude of others toward Dafa and is a matter of whether their lives can be saved. Therefore, I pay great attention to my words and deeds, strictly follow the principles of the Fa, and do my best to balance relations among my family members, friends, and neighbors. I hold myself to a high level of morality to let all people see the beauty of Dafa and to help them see that Dafa is good, so they can be saved. As long as it is good for validating Dafa and good for saving lives, I put in effort to do it well without being concerned with what other people think. A practitioner's mission is to save sentient beings, and the lives in the future new universe are all for the good of others.
In the process of clarifying the truth, I came to realize that we must explain the facts clearly, not just superficially, so that people can really understand, and their conscience and kindness will be awakened. After they understand the truth, their understanding side will help us to spread the facts and save lives. This will have a greater effect in clarifying the truth and will expand the field of righteous thoughts. We should be patient when clarifying the facts and treat each person with compassion. If a person refuses to accept the truth at the beginning, we should not easily conclude that this person cannot be saved. We should not give up easily on any person who might be saved. We have to remember at all times that we are Dafa practitioners and what we do is to save people. Whether the person can be saved or not is measured with the standard of the Fa and is not our decision.
My son's fiancée, after graduating from a university, was assigned to a middle school as a teacher of politics. The first time I told her the facts, she was so frightened that her face changed color. With her hands covering her eyes, she said several times in a row, "Don't tell me this, I don't want to listen to this." I was not discouraged and was not moved by the way she behaved. I saw how frightened she was due to being poisoned by the CCP's propaganda. I felt pity for her and that strengthened my determination to tell her the truth and save her.
After that I patiently explained to her the truth of Dafa from different aspects each time she came to my home. I finally untied the knot in her mind that had prevented her from understanding the truth. She has truly understood the truth of Dafa and established her righteous thoughts about Dafa. In school, the textbook she was teaching had phrases that slandered Dafa. In order to prevent the students from being poisoned, without hesitation she completely removed those phrases. Meanwhile she wisely relays Dafa information to her students in the class. She also actively clarifies the truth to her colleagues. She heard that one of the teachers studied fortunetelling in his spare time. She found this teacher, and in front of several other teachers, said to him in all seriousness, "If you really want to study this kind of thing, putting your efforts into studying Falun Dafa will benefit you enormously." Under her influence, many teachers have understood the truth about Dafa and they are all supportive of Dafa. While actively doing work for Dafa, she has been frequently rewarded and miracles keep happening to her. Truly, "with kind thoughts toward Dafa, one is bestowed with peace and happiness from heaven."
My son is very similar to my daughter-in-law. After I continuously explained the truth to him with patience and kindness, and guiding him many times, he changed from not listening to the truth and not believing in Dafa to believing in Dafa very much. He has been using his own resources to support Dafa and do things within his capability for Dafa, achieving a positive effect. Because I keep improving my understanding to follow Teacher's teaching and keep absorbing myself into Dafa, my environment is getting more and more relaxed and filled with harmony. This is also given by Teacher and Dafa.
