Personnel from the Longgang District Police Station harassed practitioners in
the Longgang Community who had been arrested or sentenced to forced labor
between December 2006 and New Year's Day 2007. They ordered the practitioners
to go to the police station and submit a photo ID, fill out a form, submit
their fingerprints, and copy some sentences for handwriting comparisons.
Police officer Chen Jinfeng in charge of the community's No. 1 Section 1 and Zhao Shiguang in charge of the No. 3 Section were involved in the harassment.

Dexing Facing Unlawful Sentence
Practitioners Mr. Ye Zhenghui and Mr. Mao Dexing from Hulin City, Heilongjiang
Province, who were arrested in July 2006, have been transferred to the Mishan
City No. 1 Detention Center. They are facing an unlawful trial on January 12,
2007.

4. [Chongqing] Practitioner Ms. Xiao Yang Sent to the Maojiashan Women's
Forced Labor Camp for Persecution
It was learned that practitioner Ms. Xiao Yang from the Banan District, who was
arrested in December 2006, has been sent to Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor
Camp.

5. [Gansu Province] Several Practitioners Working at the Changqing Oil Field Persecuted, One Tortured to Death
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuling, an employee of the Refinery Factory, was tortured to death. Practitioner Mr. Wang Yongduo is presently being held at the Pingliang Prison. Mr. Guan Qiang is being held at the Lanzhou City Prison.
Practitioners who have been released after their sentences expired include
Ms. Liang Yuping, Ms. Zhao Jinping, Ms. Cui Yumei, Mr. Zhang Huaqiao and Ms. Li
Huixia.
The practitioner couple surnamed [Mr.] Liu Haixiong was laid off with a one-time
minimum severance pay package.
Their employer has stopped paying the salaries of all the above-mentioned practitioners, who were also forced to leave work.
6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Xiangyang
Persecuted to the Point of a Mental Collapse, Released in July 2006
Practitioner Mr. Liu Xiangyang, 38, from Jiujianfang Village, Raoyanghe Town,
Heishan County, Jinzhou City, was persecuted to the point of a mental collapse
in Jinzhou City Nanshan Prison. He has diminished mobility in one leg but was
released in July 2006.
Personnel from the Heishan County Police Department and Zhang Wendou from the
Raoyanghe Town Police Station took Mr. Liu Xiangyang to the county detention
center. He was held there for 100 days, followed by two years of forced labor at
Jinzhou City's Nanshan Prison.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianzhong Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianzhong from the Wenjiang District of Chengdu City was arrested on December 21, 2006. He was transferred to the Wenjiang Detention Center on December 31 for a one-month detention. Police failed to force him to reveal information on other practitioners. No family visits are permitted.
8. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Yang Jintao Arrested and Held at the No. 1 Detention Center
9. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Gong Chengge Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Gong Chengge is an employee at the No. 2 Middle School of Mudanjiang City. Personnel from the city police department colluded with officers from the Yangming Police Station and duped Ms. Gong into going to the city police department on December 22, 2006. Ms. Gong is presently being held at the city detention center. No family visits are permitted. Her father had been arrested and held at the detention center, but he was released prior to New Year's Day.
When practitioner Ms. Yu Zhenjie was arrested, she had some disease symptoms and was thus sent to the city's Police Hospital. She was paralyzed and could not take care of herself. When she was on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, she was brutally force-fed and she was severely injured. Several hospitals refused to admit her because of her poor health. The police ransacked her house and confiscated her computer, a TV, a VCD, and some other electronics. The police ordered her family to pick her up on December 31, 2006. She is extremely weak and is in recovery.
The police arrested practitioner Ms. Zhai Yuqin at the No. 12 West Road in the Xi'an District. They stole her satellite receiving antenna and put her into a detention center. The police extorted 20,000 yuan from her family and then released her.

10. [Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners including Ms. Ma Yuxin Sentenced to Imprisonment
Personnel from the Fengcheng City Police Department arrested practitioners Ms. Ma Yuxin, Ms. Dong Shufang, and Ms. Li Qin in Dabao Village on November 15, 2005. The city court agents sentenced the three practitioners to five, three, and three and a half years of imprisonment, respectively, on February 14, 2006. Ms. Ma and Ms. Dong did not acknowledge the verdict and appealed to the Dandong City Intermediate People's Court.
The Dandong City Intermediate People's Court agents considered that the case did not have sufficient evidence and withdrew the verdict from the Fengcheng City Court. During that time, Ms. Ma was held at the Kuandian County Detention Center in Liaoning Province. Ms. Dong was held at the Fengcheng City Detention Center. Ms. Li was bailed out because of her poor health, and she decided to opt for living in exile to avoid illegal arrest.
When practitioner Ms. Liu Yingmei from Fengcheng City was going to distribute truth-clarifying materials at the Fireman Division Residential Area at 2:00 a.m. on July 2, 2006, Liu Yuliang, a resident there, and his son, Liu Hong, found her. Ms. Liu clarified the truth to the father and son, but they did not listen and held onto Ms. Liu for two hours. Then two policemen put Ms. Liu into a police car. Ms. Liu shouted, "Falun Dafa is good" in the car. Fengcheng City Court agents sentenced her to three and a half years of imprisonment on October 25, 2006. She is currently being held at the city detention center.

11. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Persecution Facts of Practitioners including Mr. Sun Yezhi
Policemen from Anqiu City arrested practitioner Mr. Sun Yezhi from Linghe Village, Linghe Town at his home at 6:00 p.m. on March 15, 2005. After he was persecuted at the city detention center for a month, he was sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. When his forced labor term expired on January 1, 2007, personnel of the city 610 Office transferred him from the labor camp to the Weifang City 610 Office Brainwashing Class.
When practitioner Ms. Hui Ruiying, who is in her 70s, was clarifying the truth at the city Chengdong Vegetable Market on December 5, 2006, personnel from the city police department arrested her and held her at the Dongguang Police Station for over ten days, followed by incarceration in the city detention center.
Police arrested 66-year-old practitioner Ms. Sun Guifang from Bingmaying Village, Shidui Town, Anqiu City, at her home and put her in the city detention center at noon on December 21, 2006.
Two practitioners from Linwu Town were recently arrested.
12. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Xie Wei Arrested
Li Dawei and Shang Hongjun, Jiamusi City's Shunhe Police Station chief and deputy chief, led a group of policemen who broke into practitioner Mr. Xie Wei's shop at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2007, and arrested Mr. Xie, citing that someone had reported him for clarifying the truth. They then searched Mr. Xie's house and confiscated a PC and some truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Xie Wei is now being detained at the Shunhe Police Station.
13. [Yibin County, Sichuan Province and Yunan Province] Practitioner Mr. Shen Zhiqing Is Being Held at the Yibin County Police Department Detention Center
Eleven practitioners from Sichuan Province, Chongqing, and Yunan Province were arrested when they were studying the Fa together at Louba Town, Yibin County, Sichuan Province, in early June 2006. Five of them, including Mr. Shen Zhiqing, Mr. Li Yuanrong, and Mr. Wu Zhonghai, are still being detained at the Yibin County Police Department Detention Center.
14. [Kaijiang County, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Mr. Li Chengzhuo and Ms. Zhou Rong Are Being Detained at the County's Detention Center
Personnel from the 610 Office, the police department, and National Security Division arrested practitioners Mr. Li Chengzhuo and Ms. Zhou Rong in mid-December 2006. They put the two practitioners in the Kaijiang County Detention Center. Their families, friends, and colleagues went to see them many times but were not allowed to see them. It was heard that the practitioners had been sentenced to forced labor and were appealing.
15. [Chibi City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Lai Yongcai Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Lai Yongcai from Chebu Town, Chibi City, was arrested in June 2006. He is now being held at the No. 9 Division of the Shayang Forced Labor Camp in the Qilihu District, Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province.
16. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Mr. Ye Zhenghui Will Face Illegal Trial
Police from the Hulin City National Security Team arrested practitioner Mr. Ye Zhenghui on July 29, 2006. Policemen from the Jixi City National Security Team also participated in the arrest. Approved by the Hulin City "Procuratorate," an arrest warrant was issued by Hulin City Police Department on September 4, 2006.
Mr. Ye was transferred to Mishan City Detention Center on December 4, 2006. His case has been submitted to Mishan People's Court.
Zhao, an officer in Room 404 in the Criminal Investigation Section of the Mishan City Court, called Mr. Ye's family on December 26, 2006, and inquired whether or not they would like to hire a lawyer.
The family did hire a lawyer who called on Mr. Ye Zhenghui on January 6, 2007. Court official Zhao ordered the lawyer to read the case documents in Mishan City as soon as possible.
The lawyer went to the court, read the case documents, and met with Mr. Ye on January 8, 2007.
It has been confirmed that Mishan City Court agents decided to start the trial on 8:00 a.m. on January 12, 2007. Ye Zhenghui's families and friends were allowed to be present.
