1. [Liaoning Province] Guards at Yingkou Prison Cut Off Both of a Practitioner's Nipples with Scissors
In the Yingkou Prison, prison guards resorted to all sorts of torture, including shocks with electric batons, solitary confinement, deprivation of sleep, hanging off the floor, standing for long periods of time, and beatings by inmates at the instigation of the guards. Recently, a practitioner continued to cultivate Falun Dafa despite numerous rounds of inhuman torture, and the prison guards used a pair of scissors to cut off both of the practitioner's nipples. They also held the practitioner down on the floor with both legs pulled apart, to the point of almost crippling the practitioner. To cover up their brutality, the authorities have transferred the practitioner to the Anshan Prison for continued abuse.
2. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Guorui Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Ms. Yang Guorui, a practitioner from Yanji City, has been sentenced to two years of forced labor for clarifying the truth. On December 28, 2006, she was sent to the Changchun Women's Forced Labor Camp.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Shan Zhiping, a Retired Teacher from Shuangyashan Farm Middle School, Taken into Custody
On January 3, 2007, officials from the Hongxinglong Farm Reclamation Administration, along with police from the Shuangyashan Farm Police Department, Wang Baomin (male), principal of the Shuangyashan Farm Middle School, and Yin Huakun (gender unknown), Party Secretary of the middle school, took practitioner Mr. Shan Zhiping into custody. Mr. Shan's wife, who is mentally ill and could not take care of herself, has been left in their rented home.
Mr. Shan Zhiping is a retired teacher from the farm's middle school. In November 2006, Wang Baomin, the school principal, along with Yin Huakun, the school Party Secretary, and Huo Zhenlong (male), Party Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee continually harassed Mr. Shan.

5. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Practitioner Ms. Yang Aiqin Currently Held in the City Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Yang Aiqin, 42, lives in the family quarters of the Kaifeng City Electric Industries Bureau. On December 31, 2006 or January 1, 2007, she was taken into custody. Ms. Yang is being held in the city's detention center.
6. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Gong Qixin Arrested
Ms. Gong Qixin, a practitioner who lives at the No. 5 Court of Shaoyaoju in Chaoyang District, Beijing, was taken into custody by the Xiaoguan Police Station on October 12, 2006. She has been sent to a dispatching center to start serving two years of forced labor. Her son, who was left alone at home, has to support himself.
7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Li Jizhong's Family Extorted for Cash
Mr. Li Jizhong, a practitioner from Zhangjiu in Jinan City got out of police custody on January 4, 2007, after eight days of abstaining from both food and water. His family however has been extorted of 5000 yuan from the parole, and further investigation of Mr. Li's case is pending.
8. [Hubei Province] Information on the Persecution of Mr. Zhang Yi and Other Practitioners
Mr. Zhang Yi, in his thirties, is a practitioner working at the Xiangfan Railroad Department. On December 13, 2006, Gao Ping (male), a railroad police officer, took Mr. Zhang into custody. Mr. Zhang Yi is being held in the Xiangfan Railroad Detention Center.
Practitioner Mr. Cheng Xiaobao had been taken into custody numerous times. In 2001, he was unlawfully dismissed from his job and sentenced to four years in prison.
Practitioner Mr. Zhu Zhongtao had been taken into custody twice for a total of over two months.
Practitioner Ms. Chang Hongmei had been taken into custody for a month.
Practitioner Mr. Li Sanxing had been taken into custody and sent to the labor camp twice for a total of nineteen months.
Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiurong had been taken into custody twice and sent to a brainwashing center for three months.
Practitioner Mr. Zhao Guojiang had been taken into custody four times. In 2005, he was sentenced to six years in prison and dismissed from his job.
Practitioner Mr. Gao Daorui was taken into custody in 2004 and sentenced to twelve months of forced labor. He has been receiving only 300 yuan each month, which does not cover living expenses, since March 2004.
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Yi had been taken into custody three times. He remained in custody for over a month, from September to November 2002. From March-April 2003 he was held in a brainwashing center.

9. [Shanghai] Practitioner Ms. Cai Fenlan in Custody for Two Weeks
Ms. Cai Fenlan, who lives on Lane 401 in the Hongqi New Residential Village in Minhang District, Shanghai, was taken into custody two weeks ago while distributing truth-clarifying materials nearby the residential complex where she lives. It is possible that she is being held in the Minhang Detention Center.
10. [Mei County, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Xie Kunxiang's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Xie Kunxiang, a practitioner from the Mei County area was subjected to severe abuse while being brainwashed and suffered a mental collapse. Her whereabouts are unknown. It has been said that she had been held in a psychiatric facility.
11. [Beijing] Practitioner Ms. Shi Qiuhong Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Shi Qiuhong, 35, is an employee of the Xiangshan Park Administration Office in Beijing. She lives at Dongkou in Pingguoyuan, Shijingshan District, Beijing. After the Sino-Africa summit in November 2006, she was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying materials in Xiangshan Park. Her husband is in the military, and he has been implicated by her arrest. It was learned that Ms. Shi Qiuhong has been unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor recently.
12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Supplementary Information on the Persecution of Mr. Zhang Chuanzheng and His Wife Ms. Guo Xiuhong
At 9:00 p.m. on October 28, 2002, practitioners Mr. Zhang Chuanzheng and his wife Ms. Guo Xiuhong were arrested by officers from the Liyuan Police Station in Kuiwen District, Weifang City, who broke into their rented home. Mr. Zhang, Ms. Guo, Ms. Yue Xia, Ms. Yue's daughter, and Mr. Guo Jiasheng were unlawfully sentenced by the Kuiwen District Court in Kuiwen District, Weifang City on April 16, 2003.
13. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Prison Authorities in Dashaping Deceive International Investigation Team
1. On February 5, 2005, the United Nations' international investigation team arrived at the Lanzhou Prison in Gansu Province. When the investigation team inquired about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, the prison authorities hid practitioners in a narrow hallway behind an out-of-way workshop. The practitioners were held there for over half a day.
2. On February 24, 2005, when the international team came to the Lanzhou Prison again for investigation, the prison authorities gathered all the practitioners, took them downstairs and hid them in classrooms for three hours. As a result, the authorities did not let a single practitioner be seen by the international investigation team, leaving the impression that no practitioners were being held.
14. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Mr. Xu Jingwen Taken into Custody - His Home Unlawfully Searched
In mid-December 2006, Mr. Xu Jingwen, 45, and his son Mr. Xu Changfeng, 19, were taken away from their home at Zhuwangbao Village in Zhuwangbao Town, Yongchang County, Jinchang City by police led by the town's police station director. The officers also searched their home and took possession of 9,000 yuan in cash, which the Xu family had borrowed from their relatives for the wedding of their eldest son.
The officers took turns beating Mr. Xu and his son until both of them passed out. The officers took them to the hospital only in fear that they could die. Mr. Xu Wenjing and his son did not regain consciousness for several days despite the emergency rescue. The officer also took Mr. Xu's wife and Ms. Xu Guixiang, also a practitioner, into custody. Mr. Xu, his wife, and his son have been sent to the Yongchang County Detention Center in Jinchang City. The three practitioners have been on hunger strike protesting the persecution.
15. [Beijing] Practitioners Mr. Huang Luyong and Yang Jun Taken into Custody
On December 24, 2006, Mr. Huang Luyong, a practitioner from Jiashan Village in Mulin Town, Shunyi District, Beijing, was taken away from his home by officials from the district's State Security Division, the 610 Office, and from the village's security group. The officials also searched his home. Mr. Huang was taken to a brainwashing center. Six days later, he was transferred to the Shunyi Detention Center where he remains in custody.
On December 25, 2006, Mr. Yang Jun, a practitioner from Mafang Village in Mulin Town, Shunyi District, Beijing, was taken to the Shunyi Detention Center, where he has remained in custody since.
16. [Chongqing] Practitioner Ms. Yang Changqin Taken into Custody
Ms. Yang Changqin, in her forties, is a practitioner from Lijiatuo Neighborhood in Banan District, Chongqing City. On November 23, 2006, police deceived her and took her into custody from the Lidan Market in Mawangping Street, Lijiatuo Neighborhood. The officers were from the Lijiatuo Neighborhood Police Station. Ms. Yang is being held in the Banan District Detention Center in Yudong Town.
17. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Xiulian and Other Practitioners Brutally Tortured in Xindian Women's Forced Labor Camp
On or around November 7, 2006, a group of Falun Gong practitioners from Kuan District in Datong City were taken into custody. They were later sent to the Xindian Women's Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province for abuse. Some practitioners, including Ms. Li Xiulian, Mr. Xin Enhao, and Mr. Qin Junping refused to cooperate, and have remained in solitary confinement. They have been deprived of sleep for brainwashing around the clock, and the abuse is still continuing. When family members arrived to visit, they found bruises on the practitioners' faces.
18. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wei Chunxiang Forced to Leave Town and Become Homeless
At noon on December 15, 2006, seven officers from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office climbed over the wall and broke into practitioner Ms. Wei Chunxiang's home in Xiyuanjia Village in Canzhuang Town. The officers did not find anything they were looking for. They took a leaflet of a truth-clarifying material from the pocket of one of Ms. Wei's family members' clothes. The officers tried to take Ms. Wei into custody, but her family members prevented them from doing so. Nevertheless, the police have shown up several times to harass her. Ms. Wei was forced to leave town and become homeless.
19. [Henan Province] Ms. Xu Li, Former Teacher at Taikang County No. 3 Middle School, Being Persecuted
Ms. Xu Li, who is in her thirties, was a teacher at the Taikang County No. 3 Middle School. In 1999 and 2000, she went twice to Beijing to validate the Fa. She was dismissed from her job and forced to divorce. She became homeless and destitute. She continued practicing Falun Dafa and later married another practitioner. They had a baby boy. Both Ms. Xu and her husband were arrested before their child was one year old. Her husband was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and remains in prison. Ms. Xu was not sentenced to prison because of her young child. She was again forced to leave town and become homeless. The child has been staying with Ms. Xu's mother. In August 2006, Ms. Xu Li was besieged again. In order to avoid arrest, she jumped off the fourth floor and suffered a splinter fracture in her lower back and feet. She remained under surveillance while in the hospital. She is still being closely monitored all the time after returning home.

21. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Latest Update on the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Gong Wenyi
On December 19, 2006, Mr. Gong Wenyi, who was taken into custody from Honglang Garden on August 10, 2006, was taken to the No. 5 Division in the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Gong has been on hunger strike to protest the persecution since December 13.
22. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Mr. Song Bin Taken into Custody
Some time after 9:00 p.m. on December 23, 2006, officers from the Xinghua Police Station and other departments in Hefei City arrived in a dozen or so police vehicles at the Jingbanqiao Residential Complex in Beiwuli in Hefei City where Mr. Song Bin rented a place to live. The police searched house by house. After confirming where Mr. Song lived, they pried open the windows and broke in to take practitioner Mr. Song Bin into custody.
