1. The Chinese Medicine Institute of Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province joined the persecution of Falun Gong; bad fortune followed
Since July 20 1999, the local 610 Office repeatedly pressured Li Shangwu, the Chairman of the Institute, to persecute the practitioners who worked for him. In order to keep his job as chairman, he began to follow the orders of the 610 Office and began to persecute the Falun Gong practitioners, even though they were recognized as the best employees at the institute. He forbade those practitioners from working and getting paid. He also suggested that they be sent to forced labor camps.
The Institute started to lose business, the employees suffered serious financial difficulties, and now the Institute is barely operable.
2. The president of a senior citizen nursing home dies; she had persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners
Liu Ru was the Chairperson of Zhenzi County Senior Citizen Nursing Home in the Wenjiang District of Chengdu City in Sichuan Province. She was in her 40s and used to be very healthy. One of the seniors at the nursing home was a Falun Dafa practitioner. She often harassed him. In July 2005, she broke into the practitioner's apartment and illegally searched his home. Two weeks later, she got sick. Other people told her to treat Falun Dafa practitioners well. She also came to realize that she had received punishment for persecuting that practitioner. However, in order to keep her chairperson title, she continued to persecute practitioners. She went to the county government to report that practitioner and held back his three-wheeled vehicle and pocket money for a month.
She refused to listen to others' suggestions and continued to harass practitioners. She became sick again and was diagnosed with stomach cancer, skin cancer, uterine cancer, and nose cancer. When she was in excruciating pain, she didn't dare to cry out since she knew she was being punished for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and was afraid that other people would laugh at her. She died in great pain in January 2006.
3. Xiao Jinming of the Machinery Design Institute of Shandong Province receives retribution for persecuting practitioners

Xiao Jinming was directly in charge of managing Falun Dafa practitioners at the Institute. He was actively involved in persecuting practitioners instead of just being pressured to do so. He even fired some of them. About two months later, Xiao was diagnosed with lung cancer and had an operation soon after. After that, practitioners from China and abroad called him and wrote letters to clarify the truth to the Institute. However, Xiao refused to accept those kind suggestions. Eventually, he died.

4. People who reported on Falun Dafa practitioners receive retribution
I'm a practitioner. In 2000, when I had just returned from a business trip, Tan Huiying, the head of the Management Office, reported on me to the local 610 Office and the local police substation. Half an hour after I came in to the office, Shu Yong, the Head of the Politics and Protection Department of the Hecheng District, together with the director of the Train Station Plaza Police Substation and a few other policemen, came to my office and tried to take me away with them, saying that they had to ask me to help them investigate some things. I was responsible for Finance and Billing work and I had several people reporting to me. Therefore, I calmly explained to them that I was unable to leave because of my work. My co-workers also asked them not to take me away. They didn't listen to us and took me to the Huaihua City Southwest Hotel. Then they sent me to the No. 2 Detention Center that night and illegally detained me there for 40 days without a reason. In fact, they suspected me of making Falun Dafa banners and distributing Teacher's articles since I was young and capable. Eventually, they sentenced me to two years imprisonment at a forced labor camp. I later learned that Tan Huiying had fabricated stories about me and then reported on me to the local 610 Office in order to get a reward.
Good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil. The fabulous house that Tan Huiying remodeled in 2005 caught fire and burned to the ground. All the houses around it were fine.
