1. [Hebei Province] Practitioner Liu Xiaorong Illegally Detained
Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiaorong was illegally detained in Hebei Women’s Prison and persecuted. Liu Xiaorong has been on hunger strike to protest the persecution for more than two months.
2. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners, Including Fu Wenchang, Persecuted
Practitioners Mr. Fu Chengchang, Mr. Wang Jiang, Ms. Qu Yonghua, Ms. Li Wanyue, Ms. Zhao Shijun, Mr. Yang Gongxi and Mr. Xu Shuangrong were reported to police when distributing truth-clarifying fliers. On January 9, 2006, police from the local police station arrested them. After being beaten and interrogated, they were taken to a detention center in Acheng City.
The detention center staff removed Mr. Zhao Shijun’s clothes and poured cold water over his naked body. They also forced him to eat food that was not suitable for human consumption. He was in poor health but they did not allow his family to visit. On August 3, 2006, he was transferred to Daqing Jail.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Xiufeng Persecuted
At around 6 a.m. on July 29, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiufeng asked to go for a walk. The request was refused. The police shoved Zhang Xiufeng to the ground and dragged her to Room No. 1. They cut off all her hair, removed her clothing and beat her black and blue. Her arms were pulled into different directions and tightly bound for a long time. Her arms were injured and she could no longer lift them.

5. [Hubei Province] Teacher Mei Chuanjun from Hubei Polytech University Arrested
On the morning of September 5, 2006, Mr. Mei Chuanjun, a teacher at the Hubei Polytech University (HPU) School of Computing, was at home getting ready for class when he received a telephone call asking him to report to the college office. The security guards of HPU arrested him. Now he is held at the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center of Hubei Province and persecuted.

8. [Xinmin County, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Zhao Shuqin and Zhang Shuxia Persecuted
On April 16, 2006, practitioners Ms. Zhao Shuqin and Ms. Zhang Shuxia, from Xinmin County, Fushun City, were illegally detained in the 7th Team of Shenyang Prison and persecuted.

11. [Tianjin City] Practitioners Wang Lanrong, Zhang Liying, and Zhang Enjian Arrested
On August 2, 2006, practitioners Ms. Wang Lanrong and her husband, from Hedong District, were arrested at home. Their daughter’s computer was confiscated. Wang Lanrong was sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to Banqiao Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City for further persecution.
On July 21, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhang Liying, from Hebei District, Tianjin City, was arrested at home. No one knows her whereabouts.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] A Falun Dafa Practitioner Detained
On August 15, 2006, four undercover policemen arrested practitioner Ms Zhang, 38, from Jinzhou District of Dalian City, for posting truth-clarification materials. She was taken to the Beisanli Detention Center in Jinzhou District.

13. [Beijing City] Dong Cui Died from Torture
Ms. Dong Cui, a doctor from Shunyi District, died from torture at Beijing Women’s Prison. Her fiancé, a former pilot, was also imprisoned. He does not know of his wife's death. After Dong Cui’s death, Beijing Women’s Jail claimed that she died from a heart attack. Falun Gong practitioner Ru Huiming wanted to appeal for Dong Cui, but Li Xiaomei reported her to the police. Ru Huiming was repeatedly interrogated and tortured for more than two months. She suffered from many brutal torture methods.
14. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Guo Jungu and Cui Xiaowu Illegally Detained
On September 1, 2006, practitioners Ms. Guo Jungu and Mr. Cui Xiaowu, from Xiaochen Village of Zhi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, distributed truth-clarification materials in Xiaochen Village and was reported by Zhou Junjie, party secretary of Zhang Village. Huang Shuanglong from Zhi County’s Public Security Bureau, and Li Shujuan from the National Security Team, arrested the two elderly people at night and detained them in the Zhi County Public Security Bureau.

15. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Wang Ju and Li Chunhua Arrested
On the afternoon of September 4, 2006, practitioners Mr. Wang Ju and Ms. Li Chunhua from Huhou Village of Weicun Town, Qingwan County, Hebei Province were arrested and their homes were ransacked. Dafa books and truth-clarification materials were confiscated. Wang Ju’s younger sister was arrested the same day.
16. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Li Delong Arrested
On the morning of August 30, 2006, police from Rizhuang Town Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Li Delong. The Director of the Bureau of Industry and Commerce in Laixi City and others tried to have Li Delong sentenced to forced labor.
17. [Zibo, Shandong Province] Practitioners Yao Huihua and Cheng Guohua Illegally Arrested
In the evening of September 3, 2006, practitioners Ms. Yao Guihua and Mr. Cheng Guohua, from Lingzi Town, Zichuan District, were arrested when distributing truth-clarification fliers and taken to Zibo Detention Center. Police robbed from Yao Guihua more than 300 yuan, and confiscated Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, and other personal items.

On September 1, 2006, police from the police station of Chao Yang Village arrested Mr. Han Mingquan when he was herding sheep in the mountain. On September 5, Han Mingquan’s wife and relatives went to the Public Security Bureau of Baoqing County to request his release, but were detained on trumped up charges.

19. [Tianjin City] Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioner Han Wenmin at Banqiao Women’s Forced Labor Camp
In 2001, practitioner Ms. Han Wenmin, 51-years-old, from Dagang District of Tianjin City, was illegally sentenced to three and a half years because of her Fa-rectification activities.
On April 26, 2005, when clarifying the truth, Han Wenmin was arrested and sentenced to three years of forced labor. Now, she is illegally detained in the strictly controlled group of the Third Team at Banqiao Women’s Forced Labor Center in Tianjin City. Because of being forced to sit on a stool for a long time, Han Wenmin’s buttocks became infected and the wounds are oozing blood and pus. The police also brought in two drug addict inmates to persecute her. They brutally beat her when she did not sit in the required position.
20. [Luoyang, Henan Province] Practitioners Li Miaoneng and Her Daughter Secretly Sentenced to Prison Terms; Her Husband Zhang Jiancheng Also Arrested
Ms. Li Miaoneng was sentenced to a five-year term prison term without a trial. Her daughter Ms. Zhang Xiumei was sentenced to a three-year prison term. In September 2006, Li Miaoneng’s husband Mr. Zhang Jiancheng was also arrested.

On August 27, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Peng and others were arrested and detained at the Qinghe Detention Center. They have not been released yet.
23. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Du Xiuhua Arrested
On September 6, 2006, practitioner Ms. Du Xiuhua, in her sixties, was arrested when clarifying the truth. No one knows her whereabouts.
24. [Nanyang, Henan Province] Practitioner Qiao Sihuang Arrested
On the morning of August 16, 2006, practitioner Mr. Qiao Sihuang was arrested by plainclothes police officers when posting truth-clarification materials in the Nanyang District of Youtian, Henan Province. He was taken to the Second Detention Center. Dafa books, exercise music and truth-clarification materials were confiscated.
25. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Yuxiang Illegally Sentenced
On July 5, 2006, 52-year-old Ms. Chen Yuxiang was arrested. On July 7, she was taken to Dashan Detention Center of Qingdao City. On July 17, she was illegally sentenced.
26. [Xintai City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wu Xinxi Persecuted
On August 11, 2006, staff from the 610 Office of Xintai City and of the public security section of the Xinkuang Group persecuted four practitioners, including Mr. Wu Xinxi and Ms. Jiang Li from Xie Village’s Colliery. Mr. Liu Qiang from Shandong Power Rod Plant was also persecuted. A practitioner with the surname of Li was forced to become homeless. A material production center was destroyed. These five Dafa practitioners’ homes were ransacked and they were taken to Xintai Detention Center for persecution.
27. [Datong, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Tan Meixia Arrested
In the morning of September 1, 2006, practitioner Ms. Tan Meixia from the Datong area of Shanxi Province was reported and then arrested by police from the Xinsheng Street Police Station of Datong City. She is detained at the First Detention Center of Datong City.
28. [Changji City, Xinjiang Province] Several Practitioners Illegally Arrested
In mid-April 2006, police ransacked Falun Dafa practitioners' homes in Changji City and the Wujiaqu area in Xinjiang Province. More than twenty practitioners were arrested and detained.

30. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Hongying Arrested
On July 20, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongying, from Yantan City in Shandong Province, was arrested when on her way home. She is illegally detained in the Xingfu Brainwashing Center of Zhipi District, Yantai City.
31. [Xi’an, Shaanxi Province] Practitioners Shou Shundi and Gao Mantang Arrested
On September 1, 2006, practitioners Ms. Shou Shundi and Mr. Gao Mantang from Xi’an City were arrested at their workplace. No one knows their whereabouts.
32. [Huili County, Sichuan Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Liu Zihui, Cui Deli and Luo Jiping Arrested by National Security Agents
In the morning of September 4, 2006, police from the national security team arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Zihui from Guoyuan Village, Huili County, Liangshan State, Sichuan Province when he was clarifying the truth. After hearing about it, practitioners Mr. Cui Deli and Mr. Luo Jiping went to Liu Zihui’s home to collect Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. The police, on their way to ransack Liu’s home, caught them. All of their materials were confiscated and the three practitioners are now held in a detention center.
33. [Chongqing City] Zou Hualan and Xiao Huijuan Illegally Detained
Around midnight on August 24, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zou Hualan and Ms. Xiao Huijuan, from Changshou District of Chongqing City, were arrested and are now held in the Changshou District Detention Center. Their material center was destroyed. A laptop, a desktop, two computers, some Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party books and some Dafa books were confiscated.
34. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Crimes Committed by Staff from Hanting District Power Plant
On August 24, 2006, staff from the Hanting District Power Plant ordered employees of the company to post Dafa-slandering banners and mount "reporting boxes" around three local communities. They asked all employees and their relatives to report Falun Dafa practitioners and announced that reporting one practitioner could lead to a reward in the hundreds of dollars.
35. [Anyue County, Sichuan Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
On September 1, 2006, many practitioners were arrested and taken in two trucks to Tongxian Town of Anyue County in Sichuan Province. All were released within twenty-four hours.

36. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
Around 10:10 a.m. on August 28, 2006, Liu Zhengfang from Mengyang Town’s 610 Office, along with 5-6 police officers from the Mengyang Town Police Station, broke into practitioner Zhang Zhifen’s home in Sanyi Village. They arrested ten practitioners.
37. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Fu Bin Arrested
On the afternoon of September 4, 2006, practitioner Ms. Fu Bin, in her forties, an employee of the Weifang Chemical Fiber Factory, went to villages in the Hanting District to clarify the truth. She was reported by some villagers. She was arrested by police from Kaiyuan Police Station of Hanting District and is now illegally detained at Weifang Detention Center.
Her home was ransacked. The policemen confiscated two bankbooks (more than 7000 yuan in total), more than 700 yuan cash, a VCD player and a keyboard.
