(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of August 1, I finished reading Teacher’s lecture "Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital." At around three in the afternoon, a classmate that I had not seen for a long time came to my hometown to visit relatives, and he came to see me. I immediately thought that Teacher had arranged for him to come hear the truth about Dafa. Teacher said in his lecture,
"People with predestined relationships and those who can be saved can be made to--made to by Master's Law Bodies, righteous gods, or the immense field that Dafa has formed in the world--appear right before you in any of a range of settings, providing them with a chance to learn the truth. But you have to carry it out, and it doesn't work if you're not out there doing things."
Of course I was happy to pay attention to what Teacher said and wanted to try to save my classmate.
However, my husband was at home at the time. Before his retirement he was in charge of controlling Falun Gong practitioners and he was once against Dafa. With the progression of Fa rectification and the beauty of Dafa manifested in me, he began to have a correct understanding of Dafa, but he is still against the "three-withdrawals" from the Chinese Communist Party and is uncomfortable whenever I talk to people about them. I still cannot break through the mindset of being worried about his reaction. My classmate had plans to go to another classmate’s home that evening. What should I do? I immediately remembered that Teacher once said that the only thing Falun Dafa disciples have a role in is saving people. I clarified the truth to him and reminded myself it was saving people and it was a sacred thing. The human mindset is selfish and we should break through all of it. A thought came to my mind: "I am a Dafa practitioner in the Fa rectification period. Dafa is mighty and nothing can compare with it. Dear Teacher, please protect me. All factors that interfere with my explaining the truth of Dafa or with my Fa validation activities should be eliminated."
Then I began to talk to my classmates enthusiastically. At first, we talked briefly about things that had happened since we last saw each other. I quickly and openly told him how beautiful Falun Dafa is and also talked about why Jiang Zemin wanted to persecute Falun Gong. I also talked about how evil and corrupt the CCP is, how heaven will soon eliminate the CCP, and asked him to withdraw from it.
We talked for two hours. He quickly understood everything. He withdrew from the CCP using his real name. He also told me that he would remember to persuade his wife and children to withdraw from the three CCP organizations as well. My husband did not appear to be against our talking about this and occasionally he even added a few words. I came to some new understandings based on this event and it also helped me further understand the meaning behind the sentence from Master's poem "The Master-Disciple Bond":
"When disciples have ample righteous thoughts
Master has the power to turn back the tide"
The next day around noon, an old friend invited this classmate and several other classmates to have a get-together. We all went. The driver was in his 40s. He spoke in a very kind tone. From what he said, I guessed he was from the Department of Postal Services and Telecommunications. I realized right away that he was also a person that Teacher had arranged to hear the truth of Dafa, but for various reasons, I could not find a chance to talk to him privately.
At around 2 in the afternoon, all my old classmates were very happy, talking and singing. I felt that the opportunity had come and I stood up and said, "I noticed that everyone is excited. I am very happy, but I am also very worried." My classmates quickly calmed down and all eyes looked in my direction. I continued, "I told you that the current moral standard has been undermined to this extent. The CCP is extremely evil and it will eventually fall apart. To withdraw from the CCP’s three organizations is a way to save oneself and this is providence." Under Teacher’s protection, and based on my previous truth clarification groundwork, I was able to briefly clarify the truth to them again. Finally, I said, "Some of you may feel that I have talked too much about this. No matter how you feel about me personally, I only wish the best for you." Then my classmate Yu sighed with emotion and said, "I think Falun Gong is good." Classmate Luo added, "My whole family will withdraw from the evil organization." Classmate Li said to the driver, "Do you think my classmate is a good person? Are you a CCP member? If so, withdraw from it quickly." The driver immediately raised both of his hands and said, "I agree to withdraw." The entire room was filled with a righteous field.
On the way home, a chance came along when there was only the driver and me in the car. The driver told me wholeheartedly, "Madam, will you help me withdraw from the CCP? My daughter was a member of the Young Pioneers and now she is now a member of the Youth League. Please help her to withdraw as well. I will tell her when I get home. Thank you." Then he told me his name and his daughter's name.
This event made me deeply understand that as Dafa practitioner, as long as we remember Dafa in our hearts and have the wish to save people, Teacher will give us opportunities. Not only will he bring people who are predestined to us, but he will also provide opportunities to save them. It is really a manifestation of the boundless Buddha Fa.
I am a new practitioner who obtained the Fa three years ago and am limited by my current level. Please point out anything appropriate.
