(Clearwisdom.net) At 2:30 p.m. on August 3, 2006, practitioners Mr. Wang Mingliang and his wife from Wangjia Village, Dianzi Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province went to the brainwashing center run by the Pingdu City 610 Office. They went to visit Mr. Wang's younger sister, practitioner Liu Yaqi. The 610 Office staff arrested Mr. Wang Mingliang on the spot, just because he is a practitioner.
Seven or eight 610 Office staff members beat Mr. Wang’s wife. They searched his home with cooperation from police officers from Dianzi Town Police Branch. Not only did they steal a portrait of Teacher Li Hongzhi, lecture videos, CDs, cards, and other materials, but they also vandalized the characters Zhen, Shan, Ren ("Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance") painted on a wall in the courtyard.

The people searching the house were ashamed to let others know who they were and what they were doing. The car they drove had no license plate. When asked who allowed them to do what they were doing, they said, "The law allows us to do this." The driver, Li, was a temporary worker at the 610 Office.
In the afternoon, Pingdu City 610 Office staff arrested practitioners Mr. Wang Fengting and his daughter, Ms. Wang Cuiping, at Nansui Village, Dianzi Town, Pingdu City. They took the Wangs’ TV set, VCD player, and other belongings. Later, they broke into the home of Wang Fengting’s son, practitioner Wang Yunchong, by climbing over the wall when nobody was home. They stole a TV set, a VCD player, an audio recorder, some Dafa books, two MP3 players, some blank CDs, and other items, and made Wang Yunchong’s home a mess.
Recently the Pingdu City 610 Office staff and police officers broke into some practitioners’ homes to arrest them and search their belongings. At 12:30 p.m., July 16, six police officers illegally arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Yaqi from her home in Zhangshe Town and took her to the brainwashing center run by the Pingdu 610 Office. At 9:00 a.m. on July 20, the 610 Office staff took practitioner Ms. Jia Shuhua from her home at Houxiangzi Village, Chengguan Town to the brainwashing center. Practitioners Zhou Zhixiang, Wang Zhenying, and her husband from Jiudian Village were also arrested in July.
