(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Gong practitioner in Liaoning province. I would like to share some of the miraculous experiences I have experienced during the process of my truth-clarification work so that fellow practitioners and I can improve together.
It has been seven years since the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to openly persecute Falun Gong in 1999, but the persecution still continues. The majority of those fellow practitioners that have suffered from severe persecution did not study the Fa enough or did not have sufficient righteous thoughts. Teacher has repeatedly told us to study the Fa, study the Fa and study the Fa, but some fellow practitioners still neglect Fa study. Teacher said,
"A person is like a container, and he is whatever he contains." ("Melt into the Fa" in Essentials for Further Advancement)
Since we are cultivating among non-cultivators, it is imperative that we place emphasis on Fa study. Otherwise, we are likely to be interfered with by everyday people's affairs or cause loopholes in our thoughts, especially if we are under illegal imprisonment in China. Since I obtained the Fa, I have strictly disciplined myself in terms of both Fa study and xinxing improvement. When I studied Zhuan Falun for the first time, I felt as though I had obtained the secret of heaven and I had become the wealthiest person on earth. Words could not describe my feelings.
The National People's Congress was held in mid-March 2002. Before I left for Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, I asked a fellow practitioner to sell a piece of jewelry. When she gave the money from the jewelry sale to me, she said it was sold at my purchase price. I thought it must have been Teacher's help because I needed every penny of it. Next I told her that I would be traveling to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. She told me to take care because security during the People's Congress would be very tight. I told her not to worry and promised to return in three days. There were few passengers on the train to Beijing. I thought of Teacher's words on the train. Teacher said,
"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth3 with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy" ("Rationality" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)
"As a student, if his mind is filled with nothing but Dafa, this person is definitely a genuine cultivator. So you must have a clear understanding on the matter of studying the Fa. Reading the books more and studying the books more is the key to truly elevating yourself. To put it more simply, as long as you read Dafa, you are changing; as long as you read Dafa, you are elevating. The boundless content of Dafa plus the supplementary means--the exercises--will enable you to reach Consummation. Group reading or reading by yourself is the same." I consider studying the Fa a very important thing to do. I have never neglected my Fa study. No matter how busy I am, I will study the Fa because I have a mission to fulfill and a lot of responsibilities on my shoulders. I must study the Fa and assimilate to the Fa in order to save sentient beings.
I didn't encounter any trouble on the way to Beijing. I didn't know my way around Beijing and I couldn't find the State Appeals Office, so I had no choice but to get a taxi. The taxi driver asked me where I was headed. I told him I was going to the State Appeals Office. He said he would have difficulty finding the place and then asked me the purpose of my trip. I told him I had come to appeal for Falun Gong and clarify the truth to the government. I told him about the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, including me. All of sudden, the taxi driver seemed to realize something. He said, "Okay. I will take you there. In fact, I will take you directly inside the State Appeals Office and bypass the police and undercover police surrounding the place. Good luck." He took me directly inside the State Appeals Office. I was very happy that he positioned himself so well. I thought, "As long as I have righteous thoughts, Teacher will make the best arrangement for me."
Once inside the State Appeals Office, I handed my letter to the reception window. Everyone inside the office was very nervous. They took me inside and told me to write a different letter. I was very calm at the moment and did not have any fear. I knew they were just trying to stall me so that they had time to notify my area's office in Beijing. After a while, there came people from my area's office in Beijing, as well as policemen in civilian clothes. A van drove into the courtyard shortly afterwards. Before I realized what was happening, I had already been pushed into the van. They handcuffed me and transferred me to my city's office in Beijing. If I had better enlightenment quality, I would have been able to escape. While I was clarifying the truth, the police van had not arrived. The policemen seemed to be under a spell or were frozen. I could have taken this opportunity to escape because Teacher and all the righteous gods would have protected me and led me out.
One of the policemen from my area's office in Beijing had arrested me once in 1999. I told him, "Do not continue to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners are trying to become better people." He denied that he had ever persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. I refuted, "You are arresting me, is that not a form of persecution?" I didn't know the rest of the policemen there, but I clarified the truth to them. Each time a policeman entered the room, I would clarify the truth to him. Some of them listened, but others lay on the bed, refusing to acknowledge me. At night they handcuffed me to a bed. I sat on the bed and sent forth righteous thoughts. In my heart, I begged for Teacher's protection and had faith that I would be able to get out of there. After all, I must save sentient beings and I have much to do. When I was not clarifying the truth, I sent forth righteous thoughts. The next morning, some of them started to brush their teeth and wash their faces while others were dressing. An office manager asked me to mop the floor for them. While mopping the floor, I saw my money and my personal belongs on a desk. I put them inside my clothes and went downstairs. When I came down to the second floor, I was a bit nervous, so I begged Teacher to reinforce my righteous thoughts. I began to run and left the office quickly. I went back home and resumed my truth-clarification work.
Before I left Beijing, I clarified the truth to a policeman from out of town. After he understood the truth, he told me, "A divine miracle happened in my area. It was even reported in newspapers. It happened before 1999. There was a Falun Gong practitioner that lived in a bungalow. One year a terrible flood came and put all the houses in the neighborhood under water, except her home. The flood actually bypassed her house. It was the only house completely untouched by the flood." After he told me the story, he decided to buy a ticket and return home. I was very happy to see it when a life accepted the truth and obtained his salvation.
For the past few years, I have repeatedly stumbled and fallen on the journey of clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings, but I never stayed on the ground, refusing to get up. Each time Teacher published a new article, I was deeply encouraged. I know Teacher is pushing us forward. Each time I make progress on my cultivation practice, it is because of Teacher's sacrifice. As a Falun Gong disciple, I must do the Three Things well and I shall never take for granted Teacher's compassionate salvation. Each Falun Gong student must have experienced many divine miracles. I hope everyone will share his or her stories so that the people of the world may witness Falun Gong's magnificence. Let's have steadfast faith in Teacher and the Fa. Let's improve together.
