(Clearwisdom.net) From August 5 to 7 2006, the city of Edmonton, Alberta hosted its annual Heritage Festival. In order to help more people know about the Chinese Communist Party's live organ harvesting and to help end the seven-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners organized activities to clarify the truth at the festival.

Many people learned the truth about the persecution and expressed their sympathy to the victims. Some signed a petition condemning the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Others asked for more materials to take to their friends and relatives. Some people thanked the practitioners for their persistence in truth-clarification and some wanted to learn Falun Gong.
Some people said they had already read about the organ harvesting in the media and were very upset about the CCP atrocities. One senior citizen said that his kidney had some problems and that he needed a transplant, but he said he would not go to China to get one.
