(Clearwisdom.net) As June 24 was the date for a big commodity fair, many people came all the way from over 100 miles away to Inverness. That day, Falun Gong practitioners in Scotland held various activities to explain the facts about Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist regime’s genocidal persecution against Falun Gong. They called on the general public to pay attention to the situation so as to help stop the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting and selling of organs taken from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Surrounded by mountains, Inverness is a small industrial town in northern Scotland, where many tourists come, attracted by its beautiful scenic spots. Local residents also refer to it as the "Northern capital."

At the informational booth, Dafa practitioners displayed posters and photos exposing the CCP’s cruel torture and organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps and concentration camps. Some practitioners distributed flyers and explained the facts about Falun Gong to passers-by, while others peacefully demonstrated Falun Gong’s five sets of exercises. Some passers-by stopped to learn the exercises on the spot. After learning the facts about Falun Gong, many people signed the petition to support the practitioners.

At first some youngsters mocked at the practitioners from a distance, but after they approached the display booth and read the posters exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, they took the initiative to sign the petition.

Some passers-by talked to practitioners, "We thought that after China is getting richer, its human right situation would be improved, but disappointedly, the brutal atrocities still take place today." Others said, "Things like harvesting organs from living humans are absolutely intolerable. Thank you for telling us about this." Still others expressed that they welcomed practitioners to hold this kind of activities in Inverness again, so as to help people truly know China’s human rights situation.

A journalist from a local newspaper came out to cover the event and took many pictures of the activities, saying that he would write a special report to let people in Scotland know the real picture of China’s human rights situation.
