1. [Liaoning Province] Recent Persecution Facts from Masanjia Labor Camp
On April 17, 2006, more than fifty male guards (in their 40-50s, plainclothes) started brutally beating Falun Dafa practitioners who refused to do forced labor. Most detained practitioners now have bruises all over their bodies, their faces are battered beyond recognition, and they can't walk. After the beatings, around one hundred practitioners were forced back into peeling garlic, but more than ten practitioners absolutely refused to give in, and they were further tortured. Now they have been transferred to the First Ward, where they are going through more torture during the day. They can only sleep late after midnight, and have difficulty walking and taking care of their daily needs as a result of the cruel beatings. Their lives are in danger.
One day around May 1, 2006, a 55-year-old female Falun Dafa practitioner was beaten by guard Zhao Jinghua (female), causing her face to be deformed, and her eyes to be covered with purple-blue bruises. She was then locked in a storage room for two days.
Before January 29, 2006 (Chinese New Year), Falun Dafa practitioners' beddings were taken away to a storage room, leaving practitioners to freeze during the nights. Practitioners who firmly held on to their faith were given extended terms, such as Ms. He Guirong in the third Group, Second Ward. Her term ended on February 25, 2006, and Ms. Lan Runzhi's term ended on April 25, 2006, but they are still being detained.

At around 5:00 p.m. on Mach 20, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Lu Fenglan and her daughter Song Xia were arrested while passing out truth clarifying materials near Lei Feng Park in Fushun City by policemen from Heping Station. Their home was ransacked soon after. Police took away their small copy machine, books, and materials. Both are being detained and tortured in Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City.

6. [Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Detained in No. 8 Ward of a Women’s Prison Stripped Down before Visiting Hours
Guards of the No. 8 ward of Liaoning Province Women’s prison use more than ten electric batons to torture Falun Dafa practitioners every day. The two team leaders Zuo Xiaoyan (female) and Gu Yaxing (female, who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong) have ordered for almost a year, "Every Falun Gong practitioner should be stripped down before visiting hours" so that they cannot be given Falun Gong articles by visitors.
In addition, the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has been getting more severe, including acts such as practitioners' mouths being covered with tape, hands being tied behind the back, and being forced under tables (with all four sides boarded up so that practitioners can only curl up or squat on the cold floor, not even being able to raise their heads). Moreover, practitioners are not allowed to go to the bathroom. The cash their relatives left was confiscated by guards and given to the criminal prisoners who take part in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

On May 18, 2006, seven Falun Dafa practitioners in Changde City were given long sentences by the Wuling District Court. Ms. Yin Hong was sentenced to 8 years in prison; Ms. Shi Yuhua, 8 years; Ms. Zhang Chuntao, 8 years; Ms. Wang Xiaoqun, 7 and a half years; Ms. Wang Xiaoqun,7 and a half years; Mr. Yang Bing, 7 years; Mr. He Silian, 7 years and Ms. Yang Dongzhi, 4 years.
8. [Jilin Province] Ms. Bao Caihong, Graduate of Northeast Normal University, Detained at Masanjia Labor Camp
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Bao Caihong, who graduated in 2002 from Northeast Normal University's Department of Mathematics, works in Dalian City, Liaoning Province. She was sentenced to three years in prison around March and April 2005. Currently she is detained at Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
9. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Ms. Dong Peilan Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Dong Peilan, a resident of Tianshui City, Gansu Province, was arrested by Tianshui City National Security Division in the afternoon of June 1, 2006. She manages Deyuan Supermarket, which is affiliated with the Tianshui City Wholesale Market. Two clerks who work there were beaten by policemen and suffered injuries all over their bodies, with their noses and mouths bleeding. Ms. Dong Peilan is reportedly being detained at Luergou Detention Center in Tianshui City.
Ms. Dong Peilan was sentenced to forced labor camp once. Her husband was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and he is detained at the Tianshui City Third Prison. They have three children who are in school and parents in their 70's, all of whom are missing the care of Ms. Dong and her husband.
10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] No Information about Ms. Li Chunling
On June 2, 2006, policemen from Dalian City broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Chunling's house. At that time, Ms. Li Chunling escaped. Currently there is no information on her whereabouts. Her husband Mr. Guan Yue was arrested at his workplace, and his current whereabouts is unknown. Their daughter is only six months old.

At 8:30 a.m. on June 6, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms.Wang Yinghua was arrested by policeman Sun Ying (male) and others from the Beijing Road Police Station, Chuanying District Police Department. Her house was searched and she was sent to the Jilin City Detention Center.

12. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Fu Gui Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Fu Gui, 30, a resident of the Chenglingji Area, Yueyang City, was arrested when he was working at his own store. His current whereabouts is unknown.
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Peng Xinhua, in her 70s, a resident of Fengshuxinchun, Yueyang City, walked out of Beigang Town Police Station, Yueyang City with righteous thoughts in the afternoon on June 7, 2006.

On June 6, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Xu Dongmei and Ms. Li Huifen were arrested and taken to the Haigeng Brainwashing Center in Kunming City.
14. [Shanghai] Ms. Shao Hongzhen’s Parents Died During Her Detention
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shao Hongzhen was arrested and has been detained at Xuhui District Detention Center since January 23, 2006. There is no further information about her condition.
Unfortunately, her father suffered a cerebral hemorrhage suddenly on June 8, 2006 while he was at home. He died after being given emergency treatment at the Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital. In 2003, her father had an operation because of hydrocephalus. From then on, Ms. Shao Hongzhen took care of him. After January 23, 2006, almost no one took cared of her father, leading to his death. Her mother died because of illness while Ms. Shao Hongzhen was detained at Shanghai City Women’s Prison in 2002.

Ms. Wang Jiahong, a resident of Xiaozhao Village, Zicheng Town at Zichuan District, Zibo City was arrested on June 2, 2006. Ms. Chen Suqing, employed by Zichuan District Bauxite Company, was arrested on May 30, 2006.
16. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] More Persecution Facts about Ms. Shi Xinlan and Two Other Practitioners
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Xinlan, 50, who is a resident of Houtang Township, Huangxikou Town in Chenxi County, and two other practitioners were arrested when they went to Simeng Township, Xupu County to deliver truth-clarifying materials. They were extorted out of thousands of yuan by the Houtang County government. Falun Dafa books and a photo of Master were taken away. The agency also threatened to arrest Ms. Shi Xinlan’s husband (also a practitioner), which led to her husband’s leaving home to avoid being arrested. These female practitioners are detained at Chenxi County Detention Center by State Security agents. Falun Dafa practitioners’ family members are not allowed to visit them.

17. [Gansu Province] Practitioner Tortured to Death in Ping'antai Labor Camp
In 2002, a female drug addict (name withheld for safety reasons) in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was sent to Ping'antai Labor Camp and was a witness to a terrible crime. A 60-year-old lady had been sent to the labor camp for practicing Falun Gong. She was subjected to all kinds of torture and died. Policemen gave her family members 3000 yuan as hush money and threatened them to never mention it.

On the night of May 31, 2006, an officer of the Xiadian Town 610 Office and other policemen arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Liu Zhiming and Mr. Liu Shuwen. They also broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xuezhen's home by climbing over a wall and searched her house. They grabbed Falun Dafa books and some Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials that were hand-written by Ms. Liu Xuezhen. Because Ms. Liu Xuezhen was not at home that night, policemen weren't able to arrest her.

20. [Chongqing City] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Bai Tianshi Suffered Severe Persecution
Mr. Bai Tianshi, 61, is a Falun Dafa practitioner of Guojiatuo Area, Jiangbei District in ChongqingCity. One day in September 2005, he was arrested while he clarified the truth. He was sentenced to a year and a half of forced labor. Currently he is being tortured at Xishanping Men's Labor Camp in Chongqing City. In April 2006, when his family members visited him, they saw that he was very weak. He could not stand or walk. Two people had to hold him so that he could walk out. He has also lost most of his teeth.

In the summer of 2001, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Guosheng went to a fellow practitioner's house. He was arrested by Youyi Road Police Station and sent to the Jiamusi Detention Center. On May 11, 2005, Mr. Jiang Guosheng was arrested by policemen from Zhongshan Police Station when he was at the Second Construction Company Dormitory Building. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor. He is not allowed to do the Falun Gong exercises and has been beaten by guards in the labor camp.

On the night of April 4, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chang Chunyu of Beijing was detained. She may be detained at Haidian District Detention Center near Xiaoying Area in Qinghe Town. Three Falun Dafa practitioners who were arrested with Ms. Chang at the same time are still detained.

27. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Yonggang Transferred Secretly
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Yonggang is employed by Hebaohu Monosodium Glutamate Factory in Dongxihu District. At 3:00 p.m. on May 18, 2006, Huang Yongdong (male) from Xin'gou Town 610 Office, along with other policemen from Hebaohu Police Station and District 610 Office, tricked Mr. Wang Yonggang to leave his post at the factory. They then caught him and sent him to Etouwan Brainwashing Center in Qiaokou District. On June 2, 2006, Mr. Wang Yonggang's family members went to the brainwashing center and asked for his release, but to no avail. It was said that Mr. Wang Yonggang escaped in the afternoon on May 30, 2006, but there has been no information on his whereabouts. It is possible that he was transferred secretly.

28. [Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Transferred to Weiningying Labor Camp and Persecuted More Severely
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Hulin (a resident of Benxi City), Mr. Li Guanglin (a resident of Jinzhou City), Mr. Zhang Shupeng (from Gai County) and Mr. Liang Yuncheng (from Dandong City) were forced into small cells and locked up by guards in Weiningying Labor Camp in Benxi City.
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiao Lin (a resident of Dandong City), Mr. Jiang Renzheng (arrested in Shenyang City, a resident of Benxi City) have been transferred to an unknown location, and their current whereabouts are unknown. Falun Dafa practitioners in Dandong City were transferred to Weiningying Labor Camp. The persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners there is more severe.
Altogether, sixteen practitioners have been transferred to Weiningying Labor Camp since March 2006 from Tieling City. They have been tortured severely there.

Chen (first name unknown), a laid-off employee of Zhongshun Technology Development Company, Zibo Mining Group Inc., was arrested by policemen from Zibo Mining Group Inc. Police Department on May 31, 2006, and sent to be brainwashed at the Zibo Legal Education Center.

In the morning on June 9, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Yingjie was arrested by policemen Yang Xiancai and others from Bohai Petroleum Company Police Division, Nanjiang Police Department of Tanggu District Police Department. Ms. Zhu Yingjie's house was searched. Computers, printers and other items were taken away. Currently Ms. Zhu Yingjie is being detained at theTanggu District Detention Center.

In the morning on June 1, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Feng, a resident of Zhongyi Town, Macheng City, went to visit his relatives with his wife. On the way Mr. Liu Feng was arrested by policemen Jin Xiujian and others from Zhongyi Town Police Station. He was taken to the police station and beaten. Later he was sent to the Macheng City Detention Center.

At around 11:00 a.m. on June 7, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Shiyi, who is from Xiaoying Village, Baigou Town, together with three other practitioners, were arrested by the head of the Gaoqiao Police Station, Baigou Town Police Department, Wang Shiyong, and other two policemen. They were arrested when they were delivering fliers at Daming Market in Baigou Town, Gaobeidian City. Now three practitioners from other regions are being detained at Gaobeidian City Detention Center.

33. [Heilongjiang Province] Supplemental Information about Mr. Ren Pengwu's Death at Hulan District Detention Center
In the spring of 2000, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ren Pengwu, an employee of the Harbin City Third Power Factory, was arrested and detained at Hulan District Second Detention Center. Jiang Jimin, deputy head of Hulan District Police Department, ordered Chang Jianghai, head of the Political and Security Division, and policeman Chen Jingyao to beat Mr. Ren brutally.
During the period when Mr. Ren Pengwu went on a hunger strike at the Second Detention Center, people who were involved in forced feeding Mr. Ren included deputy head Xu Bo, guard Wu Jinyu, Wang Jianxin and prisoner Xia Baolin (male). Soon, Mr. Ren Pengwu was in a critical condition and sent to the Hulan City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital for recovery. He died on the second day. After he died, all of his organs were removed.

Agencies from the Huaihua City 610 Office attempted to hold a brainwashing session in Huaihua City. They wanted to focus on Falun Dafa practitioners from Yuanling County, Chenxi County and Hongjiang City. They attempted to extort 3000 yuan from each practitioner and 2000 yuan from each practitioner's employer. They also attempted to get the employers to dispatch two clerks who would accompany practitioners and be involved in brainwashing them.
35. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Xiangyang District Court Agency Attempted to Put Practitioners on Trial
Xiangyang District Court planned to put five Falun Dafa practitioners on trial, including Mr. Shang Xiping, Ms. Liu Liping, and Ms. Yang Yongying, on June 9, 2006. Now the trial has been postponed for 8:30 a.m. on June 13, 2006.
