(Clearwisdom.net) After the exposure of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, where organs were harvested for profit from living Falun Gong practitioners, and then their bodies were cremated, I remembered that one of my friends told me about his relative, a Falun Gong practitioner named Ms. Zhang Xiaohong. Ms. Zhang went missing in Beijing in 2002. I recently obtained some information about her, which is recounted below.

Zhang Xiaohong was an approximately 40-year-old nurse at the Shenzhen City People's Hospital in Hebei Province. In the summer of 2002, she walked to Beijing from Shenzhen City in order to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. She got lost somewhere in a cornfield in Hebei Province, in the Dingzhou district. The details go as follows: She and two other practitioners decided to go through a cornfield to avoid the police. They agreed to meet again 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) further down the road. Unfortunately, Ms. Zhang never appeared. Ever since, there has been no information from her. She didn't have any ID on her and had only 10 yuan. Her husband, daughter and other relatives searched all the detention centers they knew of in Beijing, Hebei, and Xinjiang provinces. Her daughter was in high school at the time. When Zhang Xiaohong went missing, lots of people in her county went searching for her all over China. Her relative, who was a high-ranking policeman, understood the situation at that time. They searched the entire Beijing City, other police stations, shelters, and detention centers around Beijing. According to a relative who worked at a police station, all practitioners who appealed in Beijing were illegally arrested and taken to police stations first. Then, they were sent to the outskirts of Beijing, such as Changping and Huairou counties. First of all, they were photographed. If they did not report their names and hometowns, they would be sent to other districts, mainly in the northern part of China and Xinjiang Province. The largest place for holding practitioners was in Xinjiang Province. In 2000, to this policeman's knowledge, there were 1,000 practitioners sent to one place in one day. He said, "The places around Beijing were full." He revealed there were three base listings, all far from each other, for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in Xinjiang Province. Those places were so remote that they did not even have public utilities.

Zhang Xiaohong's family members did not find her in Hebei, Beijing and other areas for two months after she went missing. They then went to Xinjiang Province to look for her, but still to no avail. Her husband has given up hope and re-married.
