1. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Jizhi and Her Daughter Arrested Without Further Information

On the morning of March 22, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Liu Jizhi and her daughter, Wang Huilan, were arrested without cause by State Security Agents Zhang Weiqiang (male) and Yang Yugang (male) from the Zhuozhou City Police Department. They are detained at the Zhuozhou City Detention Center. Their family members went to the police department many times to urge them to release the mother and daughter, but the Administration of the Zhuozhou City Police Department would not admit that they had arrested them. There has been no further information available.

2. [Gejiu City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Wan Qiaoying and Four Others Illegally Tried

Practitioners Ms. Chen Xiangzhen, Ms. Wan Qiaoying, Ms. Jiang Yanhua, Ms. Gao Mengyun, and Ms. Zhang Zhengqiao have been detained in Gejiu City Detention Center since their arrests. Recently, Honghe Prefecture Middle Court sentenced the five practitioners to about three years' imprisonment each. Their families disagreed with the sentences and are appealing.

At 1:30 a.m. on March 24, 2006, Huaiyang County State Security Agents and policemen from the Lutai Town Station arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Haomei and Ms. Zheng Ruishan after breaking down their door. Practitioners Ms. Du Guihua and Ms. Li Jing from Hegang City were arrested on February 25, 2006. Ms. Du Guihua was released because of severe illness; four policemen are monitoring her apartment. Ms. Li Jing is in prison. A special case group is persecuting her.

5. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Gang Tortured, Limb Amputated as a Result

Practitioner Mr. Wang Gang, who lived in Xiweituo Village, Yihezhuang Township, Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, has been persecuted for a year and a half. He was detained in the Zhuozhou City Detention Center after being arrested at home by policemen from the Zhuozhou City Department and 610 Office. He was illegally sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment and sent to the Baoding City First Prison where he was tortured. He was persecuted until one of his limbs had to be amputated because he did not give up his faith in Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. His family members requested visitation rights many times but they have been denied. All information about Mr. Wang Gang has been restricted.

6. [Yangchun City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Mo Yimei Arrested

Practitioner Ms. Mo Yimei was arrested by Yangchun City 610 officers in Guangdong Province and policemen from the Heshui Town Station. She was sent to the Sanshui City Women's Forced Labor Camp on May 27, 2005. She was illegally sentenced on November 1, 2005. She is detained together with more than 10 prisoners and is being tortured. Ms. Mo Yimei is very weak.

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Shuzhi and Ms. Yan Xiuqing Detained in Ankang Hospital

At around 9:00 p.m. on March 6, 2006, Shenyang City practitioners Ms. Ding Shuzhi and Ms. Yan Xiuqing were tracked and reported by security guard Shui Xiangxing (male) of the Guangrong Street neighborhood Office in the Wen'guan District. They were arrested and their homes ransacked. They were persecuted at Ankang Hospital, a drug rehabilitation center. Ms. Dong Shuzhi has a mother-in-law over 70 years old and her husband has already passed away. Ms. Yan Xiuqing's mother is over 80 years old, and her husband is very weak and over 50 years old. Their families urgently need their care.

8. [Lanzhou City, Ganshu Province] Ms. Ji Huilan Arrested

At around 2:00 p.m. on February 27, 2006 Lanzhou City practitioner Ms. Ji Huilan received a call telling her that a fellow practitioner was waiting for her. When she went downstairs, she was arrested by police and sent to the Lanzhou City Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center for persecution.

9. [Wendeng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Qingni Sentenced to Forced Labor

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shi Qingni from Wendeng City was arrested and sentenced to three years of forced labor. Her husband was very sad, drank frequently, and ended up living in a hospital due to the severe mental pressure. Their child is very young, misses the mother very much, and also must take care of the ill father.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Yongming, 56 years old from the Dadong District in Shenyang Cityd was arrested by Tiananmen Square policemen in Beijing when he displayed a banner to clarify truth about Falun Dafa on February 19, 2006. He was picked up by policemen from the Taochang Police Station of the Dadong District in Shenyang City and is being detained at the Dadong District Detention Center.

Practitioners Mr. Liu Bingyan and Ms. Zhang Qiaojun from Gongyi City were arrested individually in February and March 2006. It is unknown where Mr. Liu Bingyan is being detained. Ms. Zhang Qiaojun was sent to the Zhengzhou City Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp and was persecuted.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jingqi, who lived in the Babaishang District of Daqing City, was arrested at his workplace (Hongwei Village No. 65 Middle School in Daqing City) at 4:00 p.m. on March 24, 2006.

13. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Ru Sent to Forced Labor Camp

On March 19, 2006, Qingdao City practitioner Mr. Li Ru was arrested by policemen from the Hushan Road Station in the Licang District of Qingdao City. He was sent to the Seventh Ward of the Shandong Province Second Forced Labor Camp (the Men's Second Labor Camp) and sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor.

Mr. Li Ru was a teacher at the Yonghe Road Elementary School in the Licang District. When he "clarified truth" to his colleague Zhan Xinghua (male), Zhan reported him to the Principal Yu Aihua (male). Yu Aihua reported it immediately, which led to Mr. Li Ru's detention. The school terminated Mr. Li Ru's salary soon after that. Now Mr. Li's daughter is preparing for the university entrance examination. It is very difficult for the whole family to live on Mr. Li's wife's 100 yuan per month.

14. [Yangchun City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Lian Riguang Arrested

On the morning of March 16, 2006, 610 officers from Yangchun City, Guangdong Province, together with policemen from the Heshui Station broke into practitioner Mr. Lian Riguan's apartment and took Falun Dafa materials. Mr. Lian Riguang was arrested and sent to the Yangchun City Detention Center that same evening. He was detained for 15 days and fined 1000 yuan.

On March 7, 2006, five Falun Dafa practitioners who lived in the Meichang District, of Qinghuangdao City were arrested. Among them, practitioner Mr. Wu Wenfeng from Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, was sent back to his local police station.

17. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Zhiming Arrested

Policeman Feng Jitang, from the Maiji District of Tianshui City, Gansu Province, along with two other officers, went to Mr. Zhang Zhiming's house in Xinyang Town in the Maii District and deceived him into thinking that he was required to answer questions. Afterwards, Mr. Zhang was transferred to the Hutubi County Police Department in the Xinjiang Uhghur Autonomous Region. No further information about him is available.

18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Looking For Dalian City Practitioner Ms. Sun Juan

Ms. Sun Juan, 40 years old, lived in the Lushunkou District of Dalian City. She moved to her new apartment on Songchang Road in the Ganjingzi District of Dalian City. She went to Beijing to demonstrate Falun Dafa and was detained. She was released after being detained for two weeks. She was detained again in October 2000. No further information is available.

19. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mudanjiang City Prison Guards Tortured Falun Dafa Practitioners

Mudanjiang City prison guards search for MP3s specifically. On March 17, 2006, practitioner Mr. Cui Hongwei's MP3 files were confiscated. Guards Yu Haijun (male) and group CCP leader Zhou Chen (male) beat Mr. Cui and then locked him in a small cell (1). Practitioners Mr. Wang Hai, who was in the No. 2 division; Mr. Dong Bin in the No. 3 division; and Mr. Cui Guojun in No. 11 division were all detained in solitary confinement. The guards tortured them in order to track the source of the MP3s.

20. [Hedong District, Tianjin City] More Information about Practitioner Ms. Liu Jing's Arrest

The head of the Hedong District 610 Office Head (of the Hedong District Police Department), the Dazhigu Police Station head, and four policemen broke into Ms. Liu Jing's parents' apartment, requesting information about Ms. Liu Jing, including her contact information and address. They arrested Ms. Liu Jing after monitoring her telephone and ransacked her apartment. Her computer, printer, and Dafa books were damaged.

At 4:00 p.m. on March 20, the Dazhigu Police Station of the Hedong District sent a notice of detention to her parents. They claimed that Ms. Liu Jing had disobeyed the law and was being detained on criminal charges at the Tianjin No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Liu Jing's parents, who are nearly 70 years old, went to the Tianjin City No. 1 Prison, Caozhuang, near to the outside loop located in the western suburbs. The guard at the inner gate admitted that Ms. Liu Jing was detained there; however, her parents were not allowed to visit her.

Practitioner Zhang (first name and gender unknown) was arrested by police officer Si Dawei (male) from the Qinghe Forestry Police Station. A computer, printer, and other items were confiscated. Now this practitioner is being detained at the Qinghe Forestry Detention Center in Tonghe County. The practitioner went on hunger strike to protest and was beaten by guards to make a statement.

23. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Xiuxu Left the Police Station with Righteous Thoughts

At 11:00 p.m. on March 20, 2006, policemen from Xifu Town in the Chengyang District of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, suddenly broke into a small restaurant in Xifu Town. Mr. Song Xiuxu was arrested. His new computer, printer, DVD drive, Dafa books, truth clarifying DVDs, and other materials were all taken away. They were worth 10,000 yuan in total. That night, Mr. Song Xiufu was taken to the Xifu Town Police Station. He was tortured for several hours by a dozen police officers. With righteous thoughts the practitioner left the station before daybreak.

At the beginning of March 2006, practitioner Mr. Zhao Jucai, who lived in the countryside of Yidu City, Huibei Province, was arrested by local policemen. It is possible he was detained at the Yidu City No. 1 Detention Center. There were 15 people arrested all together.

(1) Small cell: Practitioners are locked in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their backs in a fixed position so that they can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Victims have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served during the daytime. During the night the rats run around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
